“My wife and I just returned from our first visit to 1754 House.Our server, Melanie was very nice and did a great job.My wife had the grilled shrimp with corn risotto and I had the pull pork mac and cheese; both were excellent.The atmosphere was classic New England and was great.Definitely will be coming back”

“I've been here a few times to grab croissants but it was our first time dining it and it was delicious! Very cozy and you can tell they have a lot of regular customers. The eggs benedict was amazing and their homemade biscuit was great. My husband got the chicken and waffles special and he loved it. We will definitely be coming back!”

“Really enjoyed this brewery. We went mid afternoon after a hike, very casual. They had a solo musician who was enjoyable to set a chill vibe. There is a big sculpture of a sycamore tree that was very cool. Stopped for an easy beer and late lunch. The Bavarian style pretzel was hot and perfect salt. Shared some wings. Will return”

“Our chicken dish was described on the menu as being atop pasta. What we received was just chicken on a plate. I feel like every time we try to eat here there's an event going on. They should close the restaurant portion of their business during events so paying customers don't get neglected.”

“A staple of the Woodbury community for as long as I can remember, Ting Jiang nails the classics (Sesame Chicken, Sweet/Sour, etc), but they also bring bold Asian flavor to an extensive menu of memorable meals. A few tables for indoor dining, the restaurant is walking distance from everything the town has to offer (natural market, schools, antique shops, parks). We often do takeout and the service is fast, friendly, affordable, and the food always fresh. The portions are seriously generous—usually enough to stretch into multiple meals. Litchfield County is lucky to have a family business like this call Woodbury home.”

“Found this place one day while driving to work, it is definitely one of those hidden gems in Connecticut. It is so nice if you looking for a nice quiet place to have lunch. I tried the truffle fries, which were absolutely delicious. As well as a side of mac n cheese, which wasn’t bad. Definitely would try something else next time I go. Our waitress was great, very attentive and so polite. She definitely went above and beyond.”

“Came for my mans birthday and first time coming. We were in a separate room, very elegant , an area that was not loud. We ordered drinks and received numerous amounts of bread per our request, ordered appetizers fried calamari, buffalo wings, and salads and ordered our food eventually. We ordered prime Rib and Filet Mignon. When ordering the meat, it's all you get. It's an added charge for a sauce. it's an added charge for a side. Our group of people ordered sushi, steaks, seafood linguini, and porterhouse for two . The service was great for the number of people we had. We ended with desserts and sang Happy birthday.”

“I haven't been here in years, mostly because they used to have a cash only policy and I haven't carried cash in years. Food was every bit as good as I remember as was the service. The restaurant has not aged one bit, it's like walking into the actual 1960s and not in a reproduction way. Now that I know they take cards I will be stopping in more often.”

“Do t know why the stars are low in this. Husband had meat rav I had chicken Marsala good bread for dessert husband had the special berry cake and j had chocolate mouse cake both very good. Waitress was good as well. The only thing that wasn't so good was the iced tea maybe it was old but yea that's was it”
