“We enjoyed a selection of various macarons! My personal favorites were the lemon and coffee macarons. The tiramisu macaron was vaguely boozy. The mango macaron could've used more flavor. The macarons had good shape and had feet, but were a little flaky on top. They were a little soft in the middle, but they didn't taste underdone. Chewy and sweet! The cafe is styled with adoration for Paris/France, which we found charming. Bathroom is not available to customers. Overall, it was a pleasant experience!“

“Manager was very accommodating with my allergies to peanuts and treenuts, food was very tasty, had orange chicken which was delicious, and chicken dumplings which were also pretty good. I love chinese food but it’s hard to find places that can accommodate for my allergies, so it’s awesome to know that they can accommodate so well and that I have several options to choose from. Definitely will be coming back.

“We come here every time we are in town for work. We stopped by every morning this week to pick up breakfast items - some sweet, some savory - and coffee. The coffee is incredibly good! Service is friendly and fast. Didn’t have to wait long if at all when we stopped by between 8:00-9:00 am.“

“This is definitely a must do while at WDW. The food was fantastic, especially the fried chicken and the corn bread. The fact that beer, wine and sodas are part of the deal are definitely a plus. The entertainment is apt for any age. Super funny and crowd-involved. Make your reservations with time and if you can find it, get section one. Give yourself about 30 to 45 minutes prior to the show to get to the venue. Once you enter the resort area, you will be required to take a shuttle to the restaurant. Driving your vehicle to the restaurant is not an option and the shuttle may make several stops, depending on guest volume.“

“For anyone who’s never been here, the deal is the staff are intentionally loud and brash, so I was a little worried about how my Japanese friend and his family would react. They loved it. Lee and fellow staff made all of us laugh and smile, especially my friend’s 2 young daughters. It will probably remain one of the best dining experiences, and indeed on of the best Disney memories, of all time.

“We went to this place for dinner by chance when we were going to our hotel and the choice was very good.The pizza was very good and the salad that we made to our liking was good too. After making a mistake with our pizza, they fixed it right away, gave us the wrong pizza and repeated the one we had ordered for the little one.Very friendly staff. “For a mega quick service spot I low key love Captain Cook’s. They have a pretty broad variety for a small spot and some healthier things to choose from (not all burgers and chicken fingers). While I will never agree and say the Tonga toast here is the same as the Kona Cafe, because no way it is (even if they’re just cooked differently), the breakfast and dinner selections are solid. There can sometimes be a long wait, especially during busy times, and there’s no where near enough seating, but those are logistics that can be worked out.“

“What a delightful little date night I had here with my Fiance. This was not the first time and certainly not the last!!! The CHEESE WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAAAAZING!!! But the staff is the best part of this location! Caroline was so sweet when she took our order!!! I also messed up by ordering regular fries instead of truffle!!! The manager Kay was EXTREMELY NICE and even offered me 2 new batches on the house!!! But we were able to just have him doctor up ours before we were served it!!! We do not like to waist food!!! Damian and Kay cooked our meals and they seriously could teach Gordon Ramsay a thing or two. “They took us last minute, seated us in under 15 minutes during the lunch rush, and everyone was kind and friendly throughout. Rola was especially amazing and gave incredible menu advice. As a plant based eater I really appreciate that. The food was delicious and plentiful and we never felt rushed at all.Update summer 2024: Nishelle was extremely accommodating of our requests and went above and beyond, service was amazing!The Chef substituted tofu to the salads, which made everyone happy.I generally make reservations but they often have space during the off hours, so don’t hesitate to stop by and check if you don’t have a reservation.There is valet parking if you are just coming to dine or you can park for free across the street for up to three hours, there is a tram if you need it or enjoy a short walk to the restaurant.The Grand Floridian is really a lovely property that is fun to visit and enjoy, even if it isn’t the resort you are staying at.

All in all, it's a very nice and almost pinky up experience! Despite the difficult times that the catering industry has faced in recent years, Chris and his loyal team are always fully committed to the guests. Always cheerful, always up for a chat and the food is fantastic. My favourite; the Crazy Honey Salmon or the Flamed Salmon Nigiri. We were slightly put off by quite a large dead cockroach on the floor by our table, we tried not to draw attention to it as there was a large birthday party at the table down from us and it would have ruined their evening but it's wasn't brilliant. I am used to Anglosised food (basically food that is adapted to English tolerances) and this place felt like 'American-ised' version of our favourite noodles!
