We sat down with the baker and chose three different flavors for our cake and showed her a picture of how we'd like the cake. The wedding was a Harry Potter themed wedding and she followed everything in the picture and more! The cake was gorgeous and was truly magical. One of the venue servers said it was his favorite wedding cake to date because of how beautiful the design was and that is saying a lot because the server has seen so many wedding cakes! “I am visiting from California and noticed this little cafe as it sits in the same parking lot of my hotel. I was so impressed with the parties , I tried the Japanese cheese and the tiramisu coffee. They were both fantastic. The cafe is very quaint, quiet and room to sit and enjoy the atmosphere with your pastry and coffee. There are tables outside to sit as well.If you looking for different specialty coffee flavors and dessert this is the place for you.“

“I have tried two breads so far and honestly its amazing. This is the first time I have had gluten free bread that didn't compromise on taste or texture. I have used the bread to make sandwiches, but my FAVORITE way is to toast the bread and have butter with it. 10/10 recommend if you are looking for gluten free bread!“

“Laurie was so friendly and welcoming! Her bakery is intimate and her tasting consultation was personal as she listens. She is very professional and reasonable with wedding pricing! We had a 3 tiered cake delivered to our venue (pink champagne cake and vanilla bean buttercream filling, key lime cake with lemon curd filling, raspberry swirl cake with pineapple buttercream filling) with extra sheet cake and it was too DIE for! So elegant, simple, and delicious! Thank you!“

“I found this little gem and I am a huge fan. The shop is clean and cute. The cakes are the perfect size when wanting an indulgence. Love all the flavors. Forget an apple a day, I would love a Bundt cake a day. They have larger ones for sharing but I don’t share.“

“I was in Clearwater visiting family and they brought me to your bakery. I was so enchanted. You had the best baked goods I have ever had. I had a slice of your Pineapple cake with sponge cake, pineapples, coconut and cream, a piece of strawberry cream cake, with sponge cake, strawberries and cream, and your churros. We went to your bakery 3 times while I was there. Whenever I come back to Florida, I will come back to your bakery. It's one of my favorite places in Florida.“

“Chef and Baker is located in a business park. As you’re driving back you think there can’t possibly be a restaurant here. But let me tell you it’s worth the trip. We tried several empanada flavors and the croissant donuts. All were excellent. My son said the Nutella croissant donut was the best thing he’s ever eaten that contained Nutella (he’s a huge Nutella fan). The guava croissant donut is amazing. The perfect amount of guava inside the lightest cinnamon sugar croissant. There are only two picnic tables available to eat outside so you may have to take your food to go or order online. I’ll definitely be making more trips to the Chef and Baker.“
