I choose this establishment for my birthday dinner and it was the WORST experience! I paid for drink 2 hours in advance and when I arrived I ordered the drinks. It took at least 40 minutes for us to receive our drinks. The server NEVER came to take our food order. I actually had to ask another server to find our server because we were ready to order. Keep in mind that I made reservations 2 weeks in advance. I had one whole section of their patio. When I realized that most of my guests wasn’t going to attend (the mgr asked if the rest of my guests were coming) I told him “NO” that he could go ahead and utilize the other tables. I WAS NOT EXPECTING AN ANIMAL SHELTER to sit in my reserved area. They sat a couple in my area that had six (6) fkn dogs (NONE SERVICE DOGS) right in my reserved area in which I didn’t mind sharing because my other guess didn’t arrive. The dogs were stink! I then complained to the mgr whom was very nice but however the guest with the dogs were unhappy, he said to me and my guest that his dogs smell better than us which I took as a racial comment being that he’s a of lighter skin than myself and my guests. I could have easily stopped to his level of ignorance but that’s what he wanted and it pissed him off that myself and my guest didn’t! The mgr and the waiter said NOTHING to him about his rude comment. Needles to say, the service was horrible but the mgr was nice and he really tried but I felt as if there was more he could have done. I complained to him several times about the service but he did NOTHING to accommodate me. I definitely had plans on spending big money there but the experience was just HORRIBLE and I will NEVER return nor recommend. It was the worst mistake for my birthday dinner! We brought our aunt to the Las Olas location for her 75th Birthday. We all had a different cut of meat and they all were excellent and cooked perfectly. The Sausage and Empenadas were also very good. Service was top notch, you definitely know you are having a fine dining experience. Wish we weren’t here just on vacation it would be our new regular place for steak. Hopefully they will continue to expand up the coast and eventually open a location in our home city of Daytona Beach
