if you're looking for authentic Cuban old country food, generous portions, reasonable prices this is the spot. The best tamal en cazuela in Miami, I've had others, and this one by far is better tasting more of shucked corn than others, with big chunks of succulent, pork, their croquettes are handmade/home taste. this restaurant by far exceeds all my Cuban cuisine expectations and now I must tell you about the torrejas, you have never tasted anything like it and never will, I promise, you you will come back for more!, 100% recommended.

The truth is, the customer service on the phone at this place was very unpleasant, I called and they hung up the phone in my face, I do not recommend this place, very bad customer service.

I used to enjoy having dinner at Havana Spice. Last night we went for dinner the service was horrible and the food was not same. I’m going to assume it’s was a different cook. I used to love going there for their cappuccino and last night’s meal overall was depressing. The presentation was not impressive and the server was not a friendly, didn’t come to check on us. Very disappointed.

Everything about this place was delightful. We enjoyed it so much that we came back on the last night of our stay and ordered almost the same food we had the first time. Havana sampler was a great introduction to the place and vaca frita was our family's favorite. Was it the best in town? I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Sandwiches had very little flavor and were dry and had zero toppings. Cuban sandwich didn't even have pickles on it. Not sure if it was a new chef or what was going on. Fries were super cold, too, despite arriving right when the order was ready. Outdoor atmosphere seemed okay but wouldn't return.

Stopped in here for a late lunch on our way to key west last month and had some really good chicken fajitas with a Cuban flare. Nice outdoor patio for sitting and really good and attentive staff. Be careful with Cuban coffee if you are unfamiliar as we were as that a lot of sugar.
