“This is by far the best experience I have ever had in any restaurant in the panhandle of Florida. Exquisite dishes, decor and atmosphere. Customer service is outstanding and it is the benchmark in the hospitality industry. I love this place and it is my all time favorite.”

“So once I found this place last year, I immediately loved it. My last visit there, it took a step back. It’s still a good place to go but it’s not as good as it used to be. The service wasn’t as friendly as it used to be. It took awhile before our waitress even came over to take our order. Another table was even helped before us even though we were there first.The menu changed as well. This place is know for its big and unique pancakes, or maybe should I say was. They still have some good unique pancakes, but they reduced a big part of what they used to offer. They no longer serve any peanut butter product here, and one of my favorite pancakes had peanut butter on it. Most of the food was good that we ordered except for the side scrambled eggs I ordered. The best way to describe them is as grainy. The Cinnamon Roll French Toast was great though.I usually drive about 50 mins to come out here for the food, and I probably still will, but not as often.”

“Outstanding food and service - I had the Chef's Special which was meatloaf with asparagus and mashed potatoes with roasted garlic and Gruyere cheese. My Husband had the UFC Burger. All delicious and fresh! A great addition to 30 Avenue!”

“This past weekend shaka hosted my baby shower outside on their gorgeous patio and it couldn't have turned out more perfect! They brought in someone to work the bar and helped cater to our every need. There was so much space and the venue was breath taking! Kenyon Deal is the guy to see. He made sure we had everthing we needed before all of our guests arrived and numerous guests who attended noted that is was the best baby shower they had ever been to! So greatful for the amazing staff and will be using them again for any future needs! 100 out of 10 would recommend.”

“As always - our experience last night was nothing short of amazing. We usually reserve this place as our go-to date night spot. We haven't been in a couple of months but last night we got to try new items added to the "feature" menu. The brussel sprouts were the star of the show! Along with the Thai tea crème brûlée. I made it a point to tell the GM as well as Chef Matt that they needed to be added to the main dinner menu. We had such a great experience that we made it a point (while still eating) to make a reservation for New Year Eve dinner. If you're looking for an upscale Asian dining experience, you won't regret giving this place a try.”

“First impression was that it is better than chipotle and similar to a freshii but with warm side options. The bowls are deep ,the greens options are abundant and fresh, the staff was super helpful in explaining and taking their time with me , the drinks are similar to a Panera bread and just as sweet (be conscious of the sugar amount though), atmosphere is simple and was clean when I was there . It is definitely on the pricier side but I would come back again especially because it’s local and having good quality vegan / vegetarian in PC is a tough feat.”

“We had a group of 10 on a Saturday night. Service was fabulous and food was great.Kid-friendliness: Our server was great with the kids. There was a kid menu but tapas style dishes allowed kids to sample. Chocolate fondue and chocolate chip cookies were each a ? kid rating”

“Today was our first visit to Shades Bar & Grill. We were there for lunch & the food & service (our server was Sarah) could not have been better. We ordered the chicken & sausage gumbo, Philly cheesesteak & the chicken jalapeño ranch wrap. Our sides were onion rings & sweet potato fries, however we had a hard time making a selection because of the many great food options to choose from. All the food was delicious & Sarah was a top notch server who was friendly, prompt & efficient. Definitely recommend & will visit Shades again when back in the area.”
