“It is a small place, but the food is very delicious. There was a long line to get in but it is worth it. The tables are a bit small since they are only made for 3 people, but other than that a good place located in Little Havana.Parking: The parking lot was very full, it took us a long time waiting for another car to come out so we could park.“

“I’m Cuban and very specific about where I eat Cuban food. Alma Cubana is approved by my Cuban palate. I was very impressed by the vaca frita (pictured) and the super passionfruit mojito. Magela was very kind, knowledgeable about the menu, and helped us make some great selections.“

“We came in for a birthday party (of 40 people or so) to this place. It was my first time there. They hd live music. The atmosphere was vibrant, the servers very nice, cordial and accommodating. We had several plates to share to all the tables, and I have always given a pass and the benefit of the doubt to a restaurant for any lack of quality of the food when visiting on a party, since it is kind of rough for the kitchen/servers to bring the food to everybody with a hugh consistency in presentation , temperature and flavor. Each and every one of the dishes were exceptional!!. Short Ribs Taquitos, Local Ceviche, The Chorizo Croquetas, Branzino in a coconut sauce and the Churrasco....boy oh boy!!!....I can't wait to go back. Highly recommended.“

“One of the last places we ate at in Miami. Sat outside with a beautiful view. My Guava Mojito was bomb! The table ordered various food to share. We got the Conch Fritters (my favorite), Smashed Avocado (my second favorite), Spinach Empanadas, Chicken Fricassee Empanadas, and Coconut Shrimp.I highly recommend trying this place out! The selection is very fun!“

“We came to this place on the recommendation of a person who works on the Royal Caribbean cruise ship named Adelaida of Peruvian origin. We tried the trilogy of ceviches, all delicious, the one we liked the most is the one with the winning or traditional sauce, so much so that we visited said restaurant twice. The service was excellent, Luciana and Daniela assisted us on the first day and Daniela on the second day, very attentive and professional, luxurious attention. We were fortunate to meet Mr. Mauricio who told us about the preparation and preparation of ceviches.“

“Delicious late night dinner on the terrace with views of the nightlife. Fish with butternut squash, chicken special with potatoes, black beans, white rice, sweet plantains, and salad were excellent. Service is phenomenal. Only drawback for us is that the “dinner and show” inside was extremely loud, and made conversation difficult sometimes even though we were seated outside on the terrace. Otherwise, would definitely return!“

“Just landed to Miami and had to check this place out. Place is huge great to bring the entire family, if you want to sit on the benches they are also available with quick service for both. The entire staff here were super friendly. I enjoyed my cafe con leche and tostada so much. The orange juice was delicious. If you live near by you have to check this place out. If you're visiting this just be your 1st place to come. The prices here are great.“

“Wow! What a wonderful place to visit in Miami. I saw the owner, Mika, on a few cooking shows and had to go to her restaurant after seeing how good her food was! I was not disappointed either, the food was delicious, atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff was super nice. I would recommend checking this place out if you ever get the chance because the food will make your taste buds and your tummy happy. I'd recommend the appetizer sampler and the Vaca frita sandwich. Both were amazing! I will be visiting this place when I come back to Miami, and hopefully Mika will be there so I can tell her personally how great her recipes are!“

“This place is amazing! Wonderful entertainment and the food is superb. Think Chinese/asian meets Cuban. We had The papas bravas, crispy gyozas and Octopus (btw the octopus was OUT OF THIS WORLD - think egg foo young from a Chinese restaurant, but octopus - this dish was by far my favorite and blew me away from a creativity standpoint)For main, I had the Sea Bass, perfectly cooked and the avocado poblano puree was such a nice touch. My husband had the seafood fried rice and it too was amazing! My only critique is that the wait staff is spread a little thin and so service is not as attentive as I think it should be for the prices you are paying, but this is a unique and amazing experience, we will definitely be back“

“Pricey food--the Cuban egg roll was $14 and half the size of the medianoche sandwich with fries ($18). The ropavieja was a better deal. Would only return to listen to music with a drink. The small round tables are tiny and it will be hard to have food for 2 fit there. Bonus tip: get there early because parking is limited on the street. Also the service charge is for the music.“

“Very large portions (includes nearly a loaf of bread lol), could possibly share and the price was super cheap for Miami! Only like $22 for 2 breakfasts :)) Great little quick spot to stop at. Lots of drink options too if wanted. Was busy so maybe that’s why it was a bit long to get our food. Has some spots to eat inside but not a lot.“

“They may not need another positive review, but here it is: if you want authentic Cuban food with waiters who will also most likely have an authentic thick accent and who may even help you discipline your malcreado child isn't polite then eat here. My 88 year-old Cuban American mother approves.“

“This was my first time here. I was in town because I missed my flight. The receptionist at the hotel recommended this spot because their menu was extensive. I enjoyed my time here. They gave sooooo much food. I wanted a good espresso. They brought out some pan cubano....so good with butter. They took my order fast. I was here on Friday morning. I ordered an omelet, which came with café con leche, and some Cuban hash browns. Lots of food. They have a bathroom and outdoor seating.“

“If you're a fan of croquetas such as myself, "Dos Croquetas" is absolutely a must-try when visiting Miami. Some might ask "what exactly is a croqueta?". In simple terms, they are about the same size of a mozzarella stick, deep fried and usually filled with béchamel sauce, mashed potatoes, cheese, and meat. In fact, the options are endless with thousands of customizable creations. They are a very popular side/appetizer in the Latin culture and are a great quick snack to eat on the go. Located directly on 8th St (Calle Ocho) in between SW 15th & 16th Ave. in the heart of the Little Havana neighborhood of Miami, this place has been dishing out delicious croquetas since early-2024. I came here on a whim (during the afternoon of Sunday 3/17/2024 at 1:30pm) as I was craving a small bite and this place absolutely delivered. As far as the exterior of the building, it was quite easy to find due to the colorful array of forest green with a splash of pink and yellow on the awning. The interior brings that same colorful artwork which truly give this place a Miami vibe. Their menu offers not only Cuban craft croquetas (in 10 different flavors) but also sandwiches, sides, breakfast (served until 4pm), and Dulce dessert bites. They also carry craft shakes to cool you off on the sweltering hot & muggy Florida days. Since this was my first time trying their food and didn't want to go too overboard before dinner, I ordered just (1) of the "305". This croqueta had Cuban-styled picadillo , sweet plantains, and queso blanco with their signature dale sauce. Total price, only $2.20 before tax. Service was quick and my snack was ready in just a couple minutes. As far as the taste, this absolutely hit the spot for me. Crunchy on the outside while warm, cheezy, and savory on the inside, this was absolutely delicious and actually tasted like nothing I've ever tried before. They offer so many other delectable croquetas including "Medianoche" (pork, ham, & swiss), "Mexican Street Corn", "Creamy Spinach", and much more. They have very respectable hours being opened Sunday-Thursday from 10am-10pm and Friday-Saturday from 10am-12am. With the exceptional service, prime location, great atmosphere, and reasonable prices, I am giving the Little Havana "Dos Croquetas" a perfect five stars.“

“This cute hole in the wall cafe was close to wynwood where we stopped to grab a quick breakfast before a museum visit. When we got settled at the bar, I noticed the server was in your cell phone not acknowledging us. She finally brought us our menus and went back to her phone. When she was giving us attention, she was pleasant, but being a service industry professional, I can't stand my server being on their cellphones. But food was great, the older Hispanic ladies were throwing down on the grill and we knew it was going to be good. I got a milkshake and the young lady made it from scratch with some things she grabbed from the cooler. The prices were phenomenal. For both of us to enjoy breakfast, we paid about $25. Which is unheard of in dade county lol.“

“The bakery items are great. But, I’m a customer of your bakery in Little Havana on Sw 8th street. You are sitting on a gold mine but you REALLY REALLY need more cashiers and more help behind the counter. I was just there to pickup last minute party platters. There was a line. Lots of tourists and locals But service was super slow. People were walking out. People were waiting to pay. There was even a customer he came to pickup a huge sheet cake and the bakery had no box. The guy had to take it to Ft. Lauderdale without a box? Are you guys serious? How do you guys not have a box for such a huge cake order? The cashier was busy helping fill orders thus the line of people waiting to pay. You must improve this. I thought you should know.“

“My visit to Airport Cafe & Liquors with my partner and her aunt was an absolute treat! The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal with family or friends. We tried a variety of dishes and drinks, and each one impressed us with its distinct flavors and freshness.I ordered the pressed adobo citrus shredded pork sandwich, which was packed with mouthwatering flavor and complemented by perfectly crispy fries. The combination of tender pork and zesty citrus was heavenly. My partner opted for the tuna sandwich, which was delightfully light and refreshing. The balance of flavors in each dish showed the attention to detail and care put into the preparation. To quench our thirst, we tried the papaya with almond milk, which was a refreshing and delicious beverage that paired wonderfully with our sandwiches. The almond milk added a creamy richness that enhanced the natural sweetness of the papaya. Our overall experience at Airport Cafe & Liquors was fantastic. From the warm ambiance to the delectable food and refreshing drinks, this place truly has it all. I would definitely come back to explore more of their menu offerings and would highly recommend this spot to anyone seeking a cozy dining experience.“
