“Surprisingly good food in a strip mall restaurant. The service was not amazing (the waiter either gave no attention, or was rushing us, and even took the plate away while I was still eating). The appetizers were not small, you can have one as your main if not too hungry. Another disappointment was the bread service: they gave literally 3 slices of toast with 2 apps that clearly required bread.“

I come for the food, cafe Cubano but LOVE it for the fantastic fun, friendship and hospitality that Lori, Nelson and the entire team bring! I am down on the Key a few times a year and this is my must visit place!“

“To preface this review it would have been a five star if we didn't have a one hour wait past our reservation time. I would suggest earlier reservations so you don't run into time delays as the night goes on and later reservations show up. Now that said I would have given it a 3 star if not for the amazing manager that apologized and offered half off our meal. This is great service gesture to make it right when it was so wrong and not much else he could do. They also gave us multiple glasses of free champagne. I would say bravo to the staff for making a bad situation good. The food was phenomenal everything was very flavorful and paired excellent with the sauces that accompanied them. Some of my favorite highlights were the fennel and Szechuan cured wahoo, confit duck schnitzel, fried chicken and caviar, and spiced honey dry aged duck stole the show. Everything was good but these four stood out and really made the meal. It's an amazing experience and I would tell anyone liking tasting menus not to hesitate going you will surely enjoy the meal.“

“Boia De is very special. Bold flavor with a delicate execution. The staff are humbly proud of their accomplishments and the Michelin Star is well deserved. The smoked muscles were delicious you need them. Steak tar-tar you must have. The gnocchi will change your life and the lamb could alter they ways of man & possibly change the world. “My husband has always wanted to eat at Carbone in NYC, but the waitlist is so long. We were happy to score at 5:30pm reservation while visiting Miami. There is both indoor and outdoor dining. The vibe is that of old NY Italian. We were seated and our server immediately introduced herself. She took our drink order and the fresh bread, fennel and cauliflower were brought out to the table. For an appetizer we ordered the prosciutto and mozzarella. The mozzarella was so fresh it was still warm! It was so good!!! The prosciutto was sliced perfectly and tasted amazing. We shared the lobster ravioli. The ravioli was 99% lobster and stuffed. It was amazing. The sauce was creamy yet light. For our entree we ordered the shrimp scampi that was priced per piece. These shrimp were gigantic! We each had 2 shrimp and it was plenty. We were so full we decided not to have dessert but our server brought out some Italian cookies with a candle for my husbands birthday. This meal is definitely in our top 10!“

“Nice atmosphere m, staff was great, and food was delicious. The mimosa was as big as my head.. lol However, it was $19. I wish there would have been a smaller size option as I have a very small stomach due to weight loss surgery. With the $19 mimosa I also got a coffee, eggs with cheese and bacon with a bagel to go for my friend. With tip the bill was $60. Now I realize I’m in South Beach, but I think that is a little excessive for breakfast. Lunch and dinner I understand.“

“Checked out Red Rooster yesterday for lunch....i should have known it wasnt a good place for lunch because no one was inside. My friend and i had appitizers, and she had a strawberry lemonade.....bill was $56 with included gratuity of %20....and then i got swindled and paid $15.50 to park fir 1 hour because the lot next to RR is private lot.Ive seen the place at night on the weekends and it look like a vibe, but for lunch during the week go somewhere else!“

“I love this place! They serve tasty food all night. 1$ oysters for happy hour. Their Korean style ribs are delicious. Cesar salad was so good. Can't go wrong with the crispy chicken sandwich. They have some of the best truffle fries I have ever tasted.Little terrace outside and a funky interior with some really cool decor. Open very late. Whether you go for food, happy hour or just for some drinks late at night, it is a must see when visiting Miami Beach.“

“Everything was delicious! We were warmly greeted upon arrival and promptly seated. The restaurant honored my request for a nice table by the window for our anniversary dinner. We had Mussels in white wine - very fresh and plump; Clam Chowder - it doesn't get any fresher than theirs; Crispy Skin Snapper very tasty and well-seasoned; and twin lobster rails. The tails were a bit small but very nicely flavored. My only complaint is the salad. For $15, it could have been a decent size. This one was the size of an appetizer plate and only contained lettuce, pickled onions, radish, and dressing! For the portion, they should adjust the price to $9.99 max! Otherwise, our server, Diana, was great, and we hope to return the next time we're in Miami!“

“This is a nice place. We came for a Mother’s Day brunch. But despite calling beforehand to ask if they had egg dishes for brunch, there were none.The drinks were on the bland side. I’m a person who never sends anything back. But I had no choice but to send mine back.The food was presented nicely and the French toast almost looked like a slice of cake topped with loads of blueberry sauce. With no regular syrup.I understand this chef has a vision and I wouldn’t argue his choices, however sometimes people are looking for simple food for brunch. I should’ve asked for the Mother’s Day brunch menu before going. The crab cakes were great.But overall it was an ok experience.“

I had the Ham & Cheese Omelette(good & hearty), & the Signature Sweet Pancakes, those pancakes were a tiny bit of heaven, complete perfection. My family stumbled upon this unique cafe during our hunt for a brunch spot with good food @ a reasonable price after our 7 day cruise. John greeted us outside while we were checking out their menu, & was happy to make accommodations for all 14 of us. All service was stellar, they even gave us detailed descriptions of some of the menu items we had never had before. Some of us tried the Tropical Bombon espresso drink, delicious! The atmosphere is very welcoming for an art gallery, that doubles as a cafe. You just have to go for yourself, you’ll love it!“

I ordered a Bagel and a flat white (no chance it had two expresso shots, the milk was foamed for a cappuccino. I know this is picky but if you have a coffee menu with these item you need to follow the recipes. The beans were not great).The bagel came 10 min after the coffee, so it was cold by then. The place is nice, good location.“
