“As an Italian, I really miss a traditional pasticceria. Mamma Leone makes me feel like I’m back in Rome. You can order in Italian (they speak the language) and they serve the coffee on the bar in a glass of you want (the way we Italians do it). Drink your coffee with a cornetto ? and enjoy. The pastry is authentic, cornetto mini nutella and torta della nonna highly recommended. Five stars.“

You can tell that Erika is a very talented baker and puts 100% effort into every order. Her business caught my eye because she really gives you the authentic, homemade look. Not only did the pictures show this, but the flavors were unmatched and made me feel like I was eating a cake from my grandmothers kitchen again. Delicious is an understatement! Strawberry shortcake is my absolute favorite and the only thing I would ever change is the whipped cream. To my pleasant surprise, Erika uses cream cheese and that alone made my day! Between the cream cheese, the moist cake that stayed fresh for a week, and the freshly cut strawberries, I couldn’t ask for anything better. When my original plans fell through, I was devastated but I’m so happy I didn’t give up and I found Cakeology! I hope this business continues to get the recognition and the praise it truly deserves!“

“They say size matters... Family and I stopped here for midday Sunday breakfast. Place was packed but luckily we were able to find a table quickly. Parking was on the street and not the greatest but again we got lucky and found a spot rather quickly. You have to pay by phone. Inside the place had a good roar as they had a fully seated restaurant. They have a large spacious dining room and good size service counter as well. As you walk in you can't help but notice their spread of large croissants and other baked goods. We decided to order the French Toast, Croque Madame and the Kids Egg Breakfast along with an Almond Croissant and of course a Guava and Cheese Croissant. Everything was really tasty and came out pretty quick. French Toast was probably my favorite but I have a sweet tooth. The Croque Madame was perfectly cooked. The egg just oozed out upon touching it. I felt it was also a nice sized portion. I had to take some home. The croissants were also really good. They had ample amounts of filling and thats saying a lot given their size. I can see how you could just go in and have a coffee and croissant for breakfast and would be satisfied. In fact I might be doing that more often here. The guava though I would have preferred it to be more of a marmalade like consistency instead of guava jelly like but still it was very good. I have to also give a special shout out to their Orange Juice. Wow it was so fresh. My only complaint was that I wish I could have endless refills although it was nice that our orders included coffee and orange juice. As we were heading out they had a line out the door of folks waiting to be seated. So you might have to wait but the place is worth it. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They even have the cutest little to go boxes. Overall great place for breakfast and I would definitely be coming back. Recommend if in the area.“

“We discovered this authentic Cuban bakery in a series of YouTube searches for some of the best Cuban cuisine in Miami. I would describe this as a homestyle bakery, and probably a hidden gem just outside Miami in little Havana. We ordered about a dozen pastries and the Cuban sandwich so we could try multiple things, and it was only $35 total. Our favorites were the guava and cheese pastry, the spinach & beef empanadas, the mini key lime tarts, cordaditos, and the sandwich.“

“If you're a fan of croquetas such as myself, "Dos Croquetas" is absolutely a must-try when visiting Miami. Some might ask "what exactly is a croqueta?". In simple terms, they are about the same size of a mozzarella stick, deep fried and usually filled with béchamel sauce, mashed potatoes, cheese, and meat. In fact, the options are endless with thousands of customizable creations. They are a very popular side/appetizer in the Latin culture and are a great quick snack to eat on the go. Located directly on 8th St (Calle Ocho) in between SW 15th & 16th Ave. in the heart of the Little Havana neighborhood of Miami, this place has been dishing out delicious croquetas since early-2024. I came here on a whim (during the afternoon of Sunday 3/17/2024 at 1:30pm) as I was craving a small bite and this place absolutely delivered. As far as the exterior of the building, it was quite easy to find due to the colorful array of forest green with a splash of pink and yellow on the awning. The interior brings that same colorful artwork which truly give this place a Miami vibe. Their menu offers not only Cuban craft croquetas (in 10 different flavors) but also sandwiches, sides, breakfast (served until 4pm), and Dulce dessert bites. They also carry craft shakes to cool you off on the sweltering hot & muggy Florida days. Since this was my first time trying their food and didn't want to go too overboard before dinner, I ordered just (1) of the "305". This croqueta had Cuban-styled picadillo , sweet plantains, and queso blanco with their signature dale sauce. Total price, only $2.20 before tax. Service was quick and my snack was ready in just a couple minutes. As far as the taste, this absolutely hit the spot for me. Crunchy on the outside while warm, cheezy, and savory on the inside, this was absolutely delicious and actually tasted like nothing I've ever tried before. They offer so many other delectable croquetas including "Medianoche" (pork, ham, & swiss), "Mexican Street Corn", "Creamy Spinach", and much more. They have very respectable hours being opened Sunday-Thursday from 10am-10pm and Friday-Saturday from 10am-12am. With the exceptional service, prime location, great atmosphere, and reasonable prices, I am giving the Little Havana "Dos Croquetas" a perfect five stars.“

Ordering machines are broken for months , they stopped giving out utensils and the worst part is their cookies are poorly made now. It’s the worst location I’ve ever been to so now I have to drive to other locations to get a proper make cookie and service.“

I believe the pavlova had walnuts in it, which made it unique. It was delicious. We had the strawberry ones with dulce de leche. We also had the mini alfajores and OMG. I think these were my favorites. So delicate and perfectly balanced. We also added some brigadeiros and YUM! They were good. The lady that took care of us was sooo sweet. She had recommendations and they were all incredible. The place itself is cute. Perfect to go sit down with a friend and catch up while drinking coffee and have some delicious treats.
