“The managers both Carlie and Justin were both very accommodating when I called to make a reservation for 20 to celebrate a birthday at the restaurant. Our server Devon did an outstanding job and was absolutely fine regarding our request for multiple checks. The food was simply delicious and the prices were reasonable. They allowed me to bring in a birthday cake and they served it for no extra charge. We were all extremely happy with the service provided and will definitely return!!“

For food, we ordered: boom boom shrimp, a crab cake, street corn, the red gulf grouper with cheese grits & the Atlantic grouper with beans and rice. For drinks: Peach Sangria and Blue Lightning. Every single bite and sip was heaven. Fish was fresh, flavorful and cooked perfectly. Definitely come back here again and definitely would recommend.“

“Made a last minute reservation for my husband's birthday lunch before going to the movies. What a great choice. Joe our server was outstanding, friendly and helpful. I ordered the hamburger and it was the bomb, my husband ordered the crabcake Benedict and he was in love. The atmosphere is fun and upbeat. Since it was his actual birthday they treated him to lunch and a delicious birthday dessert! This place is now on my must go to list! 10 out of 10!“

“This place was well worth the drive across the bridge. It's a casual place with an elevated food and drink menu. Our service was great from the bartenders to the waitstaff- you can tell their passion about the food and cocktails/ namely the oysters which were super fresh. Austin, my new favorite bartender, recommended the Old Salt cocktail which is a spicy margarita that was delicious and huge! My friend and I shared the Angel Eggs which were also good- each had a different topping. I also got 2 of each raw oyster they had- the house oysters may have been my favorite. I got the Lobster Roll while my friend got the Crabcake Sandwich with the potato casserole as our side. We were very pleased with both! The portions were very generous! I can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu!“

“Relatives were visiting from out of town and they asked to take us to lunch. They asked for a local family owned restaurant. I chose Lemon Leaf Cafe based on the great reviews. We were a party of 9. I called ahead to make a reservation. I spoke to Lisa who also was our server for the lunch. The food was fantastic & the portions were plentiful. The food was very fresh & very tasty. “Good Food, but Rushed We were the first customers of the day—early for us. I think the servers meant well, but everything was rushed. I felt like I was in a fast casual restaurant rather than a place where I would spend $125 for the two of us. Slow it down a bit and let us digest for a minute before dropping the next course. The food was good. We started with the recommended Bruschetta. It isn’t typical. Instead, the topping is in an accompanying bowl. The topping was delicious—how can you go wrong with tomatoes, basil and garlic in balsamic vinegar? We then shared a bowl of their special tomato bisque and it was delicious. We also shared a Caesar salad which my wife thought was too garlicy (I’m not sure that’s possible), so I ate her share. The server had asked me if I did or didn’t want anchovies on my salad so I said sure, but on the side. I had no idea that I’d be charged an extra $2.50, especially since it didn’t say that on the menu. Shame, shame. For mains I had the Pasta Pescatore which was good, but a little oily. My wife had the Chicken Piccata which she enjoyed. We accompanied those with some wines by the glass from their decent collection and they were fairly priced. I might go back, but I’d be clear with the server about not being rushed.“

Limited menu so everything is made wit care.Parking: Many people ride bikes or walk. Parking is limited but we have never had a problem. Worst case there is parking along the road outside the gate a short walk away.Kid-friendliness: Nice view of water and wild life. All the kids I have seen seem to enjoy the food and relaxed lunch time atmoshete.Wheelchair accessibility: At lunch would be the best time to scope out low table seating and get a feel for maneuvering. Small friendly and yummy spot.“

“Im a frequent visitor of the "left coast" beaches. This trip brought me to Clearwater for an afternoon Phils game at BayCare Ball Park....Stopped in Philly Joes before the game. Had a great initial feeling when we walked in when some local firefighters were enjoying their lunch. Always a good sign...Split a cheese steak fried onions and order Fries with the wifey. Had the steak with Joes homemade velvety smooth cheese sauce which was delicious. Also was provided with couple side cups filled with the cheese sauce to dip our fries. Steak was delicious and roll was OK. I'm spoiled living here in the Philly area as far as rolls go. Food was prepared and served by Joe himself who was behind the line. Place was incredibly clean which Joe took an incredible amount of pride in when we spoke to him for a few mins on our way out. Joe is a true NE Philly guy that's putting out a great product in the Clearwater area.“
