“The food was delicious and what service we had was great. I miss the servers and the diner atmosphere where everything is busy and popping is gone. Not really a Steak and Shake thing but I hate that we all have to ring ourselves out or walk up to a counter for service and are constantly asked to tip, I feel bad not tipping but......if you aren't actually serving me or coming to a table or delivering food you don't deserve a tip. Now I do believe the employees need to be paid better but that's not on me, that is on the CEO's making millions underpaying their staff.....the prices are already unaffordable and the tip makes it even worse.....just pay your people good and lower the prices, you'll sell more and make more money on volume.....if you can't figure that out you don't deserve to be making millions! Sorry for the rant, this location is as good as it can be after being robbed of it's identity for greed.“
