The combination of overnight short rib, tahini, chimichurri, lemon cream, grilled onion, tomato, and confit garlic nestled in a warm pita was a symphony of flavors that left me satisfied and impressed.My friend went for the Jerusalem Hummus, and it was a revelation. The homemade hummus paired perfectly with tahini, pulled kebab, grated tomato, schug, parsley, and olive oil, creating a harmonious blend of textures and tastes that pleased the palate.The ambiance of KooLulu was cozy and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating options available. However, parking in Surfside can be a bit challenging, as it mainly relies on street parking unless you're willing to walk from the local municipal parking lots nearby.The only drawback was that the service was a little slow, but the delicious food more than made up for it.Overall, my experience at KooLulu was exceptional. “Motek is my absolute favorite Mediterranean restaurant in South Florida. It has it all from the ambiance, to the decor, to the delicious food. This restaurant is set in the heart of Coral Gables boasting a natural earthy theme accented with Mediterranean-style decor. The restaurant is centered with a bar and tree branching over to the seats. The interior is spacious with many seating options including booths, tables, and bar seats. They also have outdoor seating but it is limited.In terms of food, you cannot go wrong with anything you order. Menu items come out hot and fresh filled with so much spice and flavor. The breads are soft and chewy, the dips are the perfect texture, and the falafel is fresh and crunchy. My party ordered the falafel pita, Spain flat pita, hummus, babaganoush, and extra Lafah bread. Every single item was to die for. This being said, prices are on the higher end but this is an upscale restaurant so it was already expected.The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were able to give good recommendations based on our needs. Parking is easy to find on the street or in a local garage.If there is one place you are looking to try in South Florida, Motek is where you should go!“

“As a first time patron all I can say is Wow. Every dish we had was absolutely delicious. The only downside was the small 2 top table we were eating at didn't have enough space for the size of the plates, which came out as they were ready. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and made some really good recommendations. The Mother's Day specials were pretty good too. Will definitely be returning soon.“

“My group had a wonderful time at ZOI Restaurant today lunch time. There were 10 of us celebrating 2 Birthday’s. From the large free parking lot to the entrance, gorgeous orchids growing on the lush trees greet you. The outdoor garden patio seating area where we dined is magical, and the seats are so plush and comfortable. It’s an unexpected botanical garden of palms, cycads, orchids, and bromeliads surrounding large lagoons. The Mediterranean /Greek food is wonderfully delicious, especially the variety of Mezzes that I had. The grilled Octopus and Lamb Chops were sensational. ZOI has developed the perfect mix of food, intimacy, and culinary expertise. Management spoiled us with pampering and great service. This place was so much fun, we didn’t want to leave.“

“I like this place a lot. The food is served impeccably. Large menu of authentic Turkish food. Reasonable prices and the most important very nice owners (Tuba’s brother). The tea they serve is black tea from Sri Lanka (it has some bergamot hint ). Its a true killer. I highly recommend them.“

“Absolutely the best experience I've had in a long time. Every item was perfect. The Caesar salad was beautiful and delicious. The calamari was fried to perfection. The chicken lasagna was great. And the Tiramisu...there are no words to describe how amazing their homemade dessert was. It was obvious everything is made from scratch. The staff was friendly, venue beautiful and the music sealed the deal. The prices can't be beat either!“

“This is where upscale meets relaxed and comfortable! We happened to be walking by The Drexel and noticed people enjoying their evening on the patio. It was busy and we managed to find a few seats at the bar. As we had dinner already, we ordered drinks and asked the bar tender what might be good for dessert. He recommended the chocolate soufflé. It was the most decadent and delightful dessert! It is plenty for two people to share. Our experience was so rich we decided to reserve a table for dinner the next evening. We hope you enjoy this South Beach treasure!“

My gnocchi were spot on and the other 3 diners really enjoyed their meals. The interior is super nice with a clean modern take on art deco interior using soft pinks and white; low key ambiance in the best way. “Yalla Motek serves the best falafel pita I have ever had in South Florida. The falafel is fresh, the eggplant is crispy, and the veggies and sauces add a burst of flavor. Even better, the waffle-cut fries are the perfect pairing with the falafel.I know this place is in the food court in Aventura Mall but the restaurant is still well-kept and neat. I like their minimalistic branding with bright tones of yellow and blue that you can notice from a distance. I also like the fact that they have inverted mirrors so that you can watch them prepare your food from beginning to end.Service is quick and the staff was friendly during my last visit. “I can't believe this place wasn't busier on a Saturday night!! The food was exceptional. So many great choices to choose from with amazing flavors! The atmosphere is adorable and Instagram worthy. Like most Miami places they play some beats while dining and have candles lit on each table to provide a nice intimate setting. The service was fabulous most of the time but towards the end it lacked and was extremely slow. Surprised as there was only one or two other tables if that. I was given the dessert menu and then waited almost 40 min. At that point it was late and I needed to leave so I grabbed the check. In which I had to flag someone down for. But overall I would totally come back. The food is so worth repeating and I'd love to try more dishes!“

The menu boasts a decent variety of mediterranean cuisine. We tried the crunchy cauliflower for appetizer, and the faroe salmon and the lamb kefta arayes as main courses. For dessert, we had the tahini icecream. Everything tasted delicious, and a bit on the pricey side. Definitely going back to try other items.“

“While staying at Hotel Ponce de Leon in Coral Gables, Florida, I walked less than 5 minutes to Lili's a Spanish restaurant. I settled on a plate of salmon, asparagus, sparkling water and fresh bread! My dessert was a marvelous cappuccino con canela (with cinnamon). Enrique was my server and we talked about Miami, Spain and the Great Repblic of Texas. Everyone is so cordial in Coral Gables and I enjoy my adventures in Florida. There are wines/tapas/quesos/paella and more. LIVE MUSIC EVERY FRIDAY! Expand your horizon and step into Spain at 1915 Ponce de Leon/Coral Gables. Relaxing. Romantic. I love sitting at the bar.Parking: Much better to park a few streets down. Walking is ideal.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible.“

“Was staying in the design district and wanted a place within walking distance. Was pleasantly surprised with Nude Pita. The owner was very friendly and helped me navigate the menu. I liked that they had vegan and non vegan options. I settled on a chicken wrap with feta that was very good. My wife got the same and was happy as well.“
