“They catered an event I was at and totally knocked it out of the park. This was some of the best pulled pork I’ve ever had, the Mac’n’Cheese was fantastic, and the Banana Pudding was INSANELY good. I don’t think another banana pudding will ever match this. Highly recommend and wish they were closer to me in St. Pete so I could have it again“

Portions were huge definitely getting 2 meals out of each platter, but if your hungry you can def get your fill here!My dad got the ribs and brisket with baked beans and coleslaw.I got the pulled pork and brisket with mac and cheese and hogs feed (corn pudding).The meats were all juicy and flavorful (honestly no sauce needed). The ribs were loaded with meat had to eat off both sides of the bone there was so much. Portion of the sides were more than I'm use to at little bbq places. Mac and cheese was creamy and flavorful, corn feed was good, little dried out but still worth it. Beans were simple and delicious just like I like em and coleslaw was flavorful, I personally just like more juice on mine but all around amazing food.Then the sauces, my fav was the Guava it cut the smokies down a bit and had a avery lite sweet taste which was perfect for my taste. The apple was ok, cut the smokies down but didn't have the sweet as much as the Guava one. The sweet was just a classic flavorful delicious sweetbbq sauce.Staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had! Love the tiktok videos they got me in!!!“

“We ordered pick-up after a long day at Busch Gardens. The brisket and pulled pork were delicious and so were the sides and cornbread. Our order came with one bottle of sauce but they also threw in samples of the other sauces so we could try several. It was awesome!“

Good options for eating there with music and a good atmosphere. The only downside is limited parking.Now for the food a must try is the Loaded Brisket Fries...OMG these were so good!Hubby had a meat sampler sausage, chicken & brisket all had good flavors. He was a little disappointed that the chicken was on the bone and not pulled but nothing bad. Baked beans were on the sweet side and loaded with brisket (great if you like sweet, too sweet for me). The frosted scalloped potatoes were an interesting twist with great flavor.Overall this is a great spot for good BBQ. Food truck prices but comparative to other BBQ spots.“

“The atmosphere here was perfect. Hole in the wall type vibes. Overall the food was really good. The quality of the meat was great. The sides were pretty good. The only thing was the mustard sauce was terrible all over my food. Tried to wipe as much off as i could and asked for hot sauce to cover it up. If they had another type of bbq sauce id def come here again but unfortunately prob wont because I cant stand mustard at all but want sauce on my bbq“

“Ohhhh lawdy! Finally some good chicken! Been trying different “restaurants” in the st Pete/Clearwater/Tampa area and have been disappointed. Come across these guys on Sunday. Got me a to go plate for later in the night. Chicken was juicy and perfect. Beans were yummy and the mac and cheese was da bomb! 10 bucks for a dinner that will fill you up. Y’all, tip these guys cause $10 wasn’t enough. I gave my man $15 and still thought I was getting a deal!!“

This was my second time in, my first time was also a great experience, they asked me if I had been in before and when I said no proceeded to take me on a tour of the place! This time I came in and they just made me feel like family. “The Brisket Boys” as I like to refer to them in my head, were all so kind and inviting, felt like I’d known them all my life. The food: well this is the only place in Tampa that is frying in pure beef tallow. Every other place that boasts “tallow fries” actually cuts the tallow with some kind of seed oil. I avoid seed oils like the plague, so this means a lot to me! Even the gravy I dipped my fries into didn’t have any sketchy ingredients. The brisket was melt in your mouth and I loved the seasoning. I highly recommend The Brisket Shoppe!“

“This place is wonderful! We recently put in a catering order for chopped pork, chopped beef, and smoked chicken - all so yummy. Not sure how they do it, but the pork was very moist and tender and the other meat had wonderful flavor as well. “I’ve been going to Perry’s since I was a little girl. On weekends with my family, we used to stop by here together, after perusing through the mall, and would have a nice meal together. The employees were always so friendly and kind each and every time. The quality is always amazing, the portion sizes are huge and generous, and the food is always fresh. I have never been disappointed coming here and despite there being newer locations, this one still has my heart after all this time. Over the past twenty years, the mall has changed a lot and has gone quite downhill. And yet, Perry’s is still the same. I came back here today after not visiting for almost 6 years. As expected, the food was exactly how I remembered. This is such a good spot for Chinese takeout and you really get your bang for your buck (a basic combo is somehow only $10 even in this economy)! You MUST order the smoked wings, macaroni and cheese and pulled pork. All the other sides were delicious but those were out-of-this-world. Also, the communication and punctuality with Slim throughout the process was fantastic. He came to our location, set everything up in very stylish way and left us with extras if everything.
