“A perfect spot for a quick lunch. They have delicious rolls that come with potato chips. I really enjoyed the shrimp roll, but the shrimps kept falling out. My friend had the Casa Mar Roll with the catch of the day (Mahi Mahi when we visited) and that was also delicious without the spillage.Right off the Overseas Hwy, there is usually plenty of parking in the center. The dining areas are in a hut and right by the waterfront.The restroom is shared between all the shops in the area and is located 2 stores over.“

“We're locals, and have eaten at a ton of different places up and down the Middle Keys. Made 2 Order is one of the best when combining quality and value.The food is fresh, tasty. The prices are very reasonable for the Keys. You could easily pay 50% more for food of the same (high) quality. Most importantly our server, Amber Lee, was simply to-die-for. Not just helpful and attentive, but totally adorable. We sat for a long time at our table and she kept bringing coffee and iced tea refills, didn't rush us at all.There are a number of reviews here complaining about the wait. The place is popular for good reason. Just avoid the biggest rush times.Would recommend without a second thought.“

“Totally Disappointed, I would have to think really hard if I would be willing to return. My Yellow fin tuna was JUST plain ok, nothing great.The diet cola in my cocktails (both even after I complained about it to Michelle) was FLAT...probably generic...that would be ok if carbonated CORRECTLY. I ordered a rum & diet cola DOUBLE TALL, what I got was a medium glass, not my tall but when in Rome, so I accept ...A weak pour...so being a smaller glass than what I'm used to. A double pour should have been strong....NOT the case...I may have to go back up the street To CAPTAIN CRAIGS.“

“I can’t imagine anyone ever giving this establishment less than a 5 star review. I would give them many more stars if it was allowed. We had flown from San Diego to Miami, and just happened to stop there on our way to Key West. Growing up in Texas, I have a very strict code of ethics about the texture, batter, freshness and overall taste of what a fried shrimp should taste like. I have to say, they beat my Texas upbringing. As a matter of fact, we timed our trip back to Miami just so we could eat there again, and the second time was just as amazing as the first. Frank the chef is a superior chef and a very nice person. Bella our server was amazing too. Very efficient, kind and helpful. We will time our future trips to go there again. What an amazing food experience, or for those who want a Michelin star rating, a 5 for sure. Thank you twisted shrimp !!!!!“

“Hands down best food in Islamorada. And you must see the Sunset Lounge upstairs. Gets packed early and they close before closing time because waitlist would go beyond closing time. But go in and see if seats at the bar or eat off small menu upstairs. Get the Empanadas!!Wait, everything- So, so worth it!!“

“First off Rick the manager was so great to work with. We had a big group of 25 people and they gave us a table outside by the water that we could all sit at. He saved us parking spots as we had 18 separate cars as it was a car rally down to Islamorada for lunch. The food was amazing and the waiter was amazing. The view from the table was amazing. We appreciate all Island Grill and Rick did for us and we all had a great time.Parking: We had 18 cars and there was parking for all. There were plenty of others cars there as well so there were plenty of parking spots.“

“The conch house has amazing lobster bisque and homemade chips! The pick two special gives you the bang for your buck and the club wrap was super fresh. The second you walk in, you smell fajitas which I had to order the steak fajitas because they smelled so good. They are probably the best fajitas I've ever had. “This review is specifically for the management team of Whale Harbor. Our server was gentleman by the name of Mike (young man with a beard). I held reservations for a party of 8 on Mother’s Day,, and Mike was our server. I would like to start off by saying what an astute professional this young man was towards our family and in his role, Whale Harbor did a fantastic job in hiring this young man. Mike was very informative in describing the sections of the buffet, was very attentive, would make rounds on our table to make sure we were okay or if we needed anything. Mind you, it was Mother’s Day, extremely busy, and he was still able to make sure our table had everything it needed. I hope the management team of Whale Harbor gives this young man a raise, because Mike had exceptional customer service with our table and my family. We would like to recognize Whale Harbor for having a great selection of food and a wonderful atmosphere to dine in, and to Mike, it was a blessing to have you as our server, what a wonderful experience for our family. “This is our 2nd time at Shrimp Shack and we had the same (great) server as last year. She has been there 4 years which says a lot about the place. Joe ordered the shrimp and gits which had too much sauce. I had the grouper picata with a side of broccoli which I dipped in the s&g sauce. That defeated the purpose of being healthy but hey, I am on vacation. My fish was good!“

“Classic American diner vibes serving burgers, fish, and steaks. Their entrees are filling, and we ordered the catch of the day (mahi mahi) which comes with a side salad and a side. The fish was cooked well, but could use a little more flavor. We chose the vegetable of the day as the side and it tasted like a boiled bag of frozen vegetables, so I definitely don't recommend that. We chose this place for their key lime pie and it did not disappoint. It was more like a frozen custard and delicious throughout.“

Sunset was amazing - lighting on The deck was gorgeous- service was quick and waiter was pleasant and quick with the food ! We were checked On by multiple servers during our visit. The kids pasta with butter sauce was cooked perfectly the way the kiddos liked it. The Mahi mahi grilled fish tacos never disappoints ! Spinach dip was on point and one of the best we have had in a while! The selection of fresh fish, which changes daily, offered a lot of fishes that we had never had before. We were excited to finally try lionfish there. “I have been coming here for decades and they have a decent stock of basis fishing supplies and live bait; there hours are hit or miss but it’s still your best bet to get live bait in the upper keys. Some of the guys that work here are nice and helpful specially Marcos.“
