“PROS -Jake, our server was wonderful. The majority of our visit was pleasant. They were some issues that were addressed immediately.CONS -The floor manager looked visibly stressed and the bartenders were moving at half speed. My beverage sat at the bar about ten minutes before it was brought to me.Overall, I'll go back and see if I can change this to five stars.“

“OMG. The food at Elea J's reminds me of my mother cooking back in the day. My Lord, I had the smothered pork chops, rice and gravy, a collard greens. I also had the fried shrimp. Everything was cooked to perfection. When you can think about the food you eat days later, you know that food was good. Someone should recommend this place to the Food Network. The owner and the staff are top notch. 10 stars“

“Call orders in ahead, dine in or eat outside on picnic tables. Great catfish, catfish strips, ff, coleslaw, awesome yummy hushpuppies. Barbeque , stew, soft drinks, iced tea. Very family oriented. Really I believe this is the only place around Covington for a catfish dinner. Come one, come all enjoy. Nice folks to hang with and be around!“

“Man this food is good af. The only issue I had was the the cube steak was thin and wasn't like advertised. But the apple and peach pie omg pork chops bussin. And the people cool af that work there too. Oh greens be hit or miss.. other than that this the spot!!!“
