“The last 5 years my husband and I have made this our go to restaurant for Afghani and Mediterranian food. Best naan in town--chewy, thick and flavorful. Service is excellent as always. Portions are generous. Our favorite is the Chicken Tikka Masala. Sauce is truly exceptional. We'll keep going back as we have the last 5 years. 10 out of five”

Once you are invited in through the mirror lined wall you step in to an intimate gathering spot. Dim lighting, comfy furniture, cozy spot to sit and not only take in the scene but to also enjoy the company you are with. Keep in mind this is not the place to get a meal. They have a sweet and savory option for a snack. This is THE place to come for delicious cocktails and great conversation! We were so impressed and felt so relaxed the entire time. “The food and overall atmosphere was great for Sunday brunch, but apparently they employ a DJ to play music on Sundays during brunch which is so loud, it was extremely difficult to carry on a conversation let alone enjoy your meal. My ears are still ringing. My friend and I weren’t the only people in the restaurant requesting the volume to be decreased. Brunch should be a relaxing atmosphere, not feeling like you are at a night club….”

The waitress was very knowledgeable as well, so we feel safe eating here with food allergies. The yellow curry with steamed tofu was incredible, And the Pad Thai was very filling – – especially delicious with some of the curry on top. The vegan fresh rolls with tofu were delicious as well, and I love the peanut sauce. Going back for the second time, thanks!”

“I have loved everything I have ever ordered. Green Curry, Red Curry, Panang Curry, Pineapple fried rice, Chicken Pad Thai and Yum Woon Sen. we come often, and the staff is always friendly! But the coconut ice cream and sweet sticky rice is HEAVENLY! I grew up having my grandmother's coconut hand churned ice cream, and thought nothing could beat that. But the toasted bits of coconut add such depth of flavor, and the sticky rice is wonderful. One of the best desserts I've ever had.”

“I'd give Funky Taco 5 stars for the food, but 2 stars for the service. Just about every time I've been there, I've been met with bad attitudes and made to feel like my presence is an annoyance and inconvenience to the hostess(es). You might think I'd done something to provoke them, but I am a friendly and polite person. I haven't experienced this behavior or attitude at any other Boise establishments. That said, I still go there on occasion for their vegan nachos. They offer a few great vegan options. And the restaurant itself has a cool vibe with good music.”

“I visited Bardenay's for a reception so the whole place was rented for our group. They catered hors d'oeuvres and drinks. The two bartenders/ servers were great and provided good service. Unfortunately, the food was cold and some of the meat was over cooked. The desserts were better but still not great. I thought the venue was nice but the food really brought the place down.”

“Authentic IHOP pancakes that I've always wanted to try. The butter is already whipped and fluffy, and the pancakes are super fluffy too! Standard items cost 1,600 yen for 5 pieces, and other menu items such as blueberries and chocolate cost more, but you can take out what you can't eat and it's about 2 servings, so it's not bad for cost performance.I'll never be able to make that moist and fluffy dish at home, so I'll be repeating it ♪”

“Stopped by for dinner. Food was good... Place was busy...Waited over 1/2 hour for food ...Many people who came in to eat left because no one would take their order.. Cali Mex waits on drive up and not walk in.... If there is a line in drive up and you want to eat in .... Expect a 30 minute wait IF they even take your order.... This is the third time this has happened to us. So whenever there is a line at drive up we go somewhere else.”

The boba is wonderful and what's great. is that a lot of the drinks that contain milk? you can substitute it without milk and use a alternative milk such as coconut or soy or almond milk. The boba itself is very soft, but my favorite is the crystal boa. it has a texture like aloe. Every time I come in I'm always read it with a smile and catch up with them from the past week. sometimes I'll have them pick out their favorite drink for me to try and everything on the milk. tea is a wonderful. The taro. they make it in house. my personal favorite is the winter melon with half sweetness the mochi waffle is to die for. I love the matcha one and get that every Sunday as well”

There is no real atmosphere in the establishment itself but when it's warmer out, they open their walls up and share space with the courtyard, which has a nice vibe with a bonfire.”

But the coconut ice cream and sweet sticky rice is HEAVENLY! I grew up having my grandmother's coconut hand churned ice cream, and thought nothing could beat that. But the toasted bits of coconut add such depth of flavor, and the sticky rice is wonderful. One of the best desserts I've ever had.”

I’ve seen him stop what he’s doing multiple visits to support his staff. We came in they only had 1 server I meant to get his name and the manager. They had a huge table with tons of smaller tables. They were amazing about letting us know they were short staffed, getting us taken care of and providing great service. 10/10”

The staff was completely understanding and empathetic about our issue. Instead of being rude or making us more embarrassed that we already were, they found a seat for us to go sit at and served us our food while we figured things out. They weren't concerned with the money - their concern was making sure we had a great experience. Eventually, the banking issue was situated and we could pay for our food.In a modern world where great, or even good, customer service is all but dead, this is a hidden gem. “Stopped by for dinner. Food was good... Place was busy...Waited over 1/2 hour for food ...Many people who came in to eat left because no one would take their order.. Cali Mex waits on drive up and not walk in.... If there is a line in drive up and you want to eat in .... Expect a 30 minute wait IF they even take your order.... This is the third time this has happened to us. So whenever there is a line at drive up we go somewhere else.”

“This place is a gem! Tonight was our second visit and, once again, we were blown away by the service and the food! The pasta is cooked to perfection and they serve VERY generous portions. Both times we've visited the wait staff did an exceptional job. So far we've tried their House Made Focaccia, Roasted Beets, Tavolata Salad, Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe (my fav!), Rigatoni, Pappardelle, and the Zeppole. ALL were perfection! Several reviewers were "put off" by the noise. Yes, it's on the. noisy side. BUT, the noise is from people having a lovely time at a wonderful restaurant eating fabulous food! In my view, a busy, noisy restaurant usually means a great place to dine! Until I return I will dream about that Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe!”
