Devon, the wine sommelier, was a gem, guiding us through a delightful selection of wines and engaging us in wonderful conversation. Zach, our server, was equally friendly and attentive. It was our first time trying caviar, and the experience was absolutely exquisite. Our entrees were beyond amazing, and the goat cheesecake was a heavenly finale to the perfect night out. “Make sure you make a reservation before coming here. If you don’t there is a house phone you can call on to do so. Expect a wait because this place is fantastic!! Once you are invited in through the mirror lined wall you step in to an intimate gathering spot. Dim lighting, comfy furniture, cozy spot to sit and not only take in the scene but to also enjoy the company you are with. Keep in mind this is not the place to get a meal. They have a sweet and savory option for a snack. This is THE place to come for delicious cocktails and great conversation! We were so impressed and felt so relaxed the entire time. “I'd give Funky Taco 5 stars for the food, but 2 stars for the service. Just about every time I've been there, I've been met with bad attitudes and made to feel like my presence is an annoyance and inconvenience to the hostess(es). You might think I'd done something to provoke them, but I am a friendly and polite person. I haven't experienced this behavior or attitude at any other Boise establishments. “Recently went to this cute lil restaurant and it was fantastic! It has a deli inside that you can buy all kind of food and drinks from all over Germany to take home to fix. It also has a small restaurant that was fabulous! They have 8-10 items that are available including a huge Bavarian pretzel that 2-3 people can share. I myself tried the schnitzel sandwich on a pretzel bun and it was fantastic. I washed it down with a cold Octoberfest beer from the tap! They have 8 German beers on tap. “13th Street pub and grill is worth a visit if you are in Boise. It is family friendly. The server was attentive and available. Most of our food was on point. However, the French fries were overly salty, and Curry soup was heavy-handed on the curry, which concealed the other flavors of the Curry soup. I would highly recommend the black and blue burger and the Cod and chips. For 5 of us, the bill was under $120 before tip. Consider the burger was Wagyu beef, and the salmon was fresh. Try the sweet potato fries.A draft beer is $6 and an old fashion is $13 if you want an adult beverage.”

“I really love the food here, however, I think there is confusion about what comes on the chili cheese fries. I have been told by employees there that onions come on the chili cheese fries, yet when I order them I don't get onions. But when I do ask for onions, I only get them half the time. Today for instance, I asked for onions on my order, the girl, Angel, asked me specifically if o wanted the onions on my chili cheese fries. I said I did. When I get home, what do I find on my fries? Well, no onions. ?”

“I go every Sunday and the staff is amazing. The boba is wonderful and what's great. is that a lot of the drinks that contain milk? you can substitute it without milk and use a alternative milk such as coconut or soy or almond milk. The boba itself is very soft, but my favorite is the crystal boa. it has a texture like aloe. Every time I come in I'm always read it with a smile and catch up with them from the past week. sometimes I'll have them pick out their favorite drink for me to try and everything on the milk. tea is a wonderful. “We were in Boise for the BSU/Wyoming game this past weekend. Decided to stop in and check out the Warehouse in downtown for the first time. After grabbing something to eat, we sat at the counter for the Camp Cocktail Bar. Again, I wished I asked the name of the bartender, but she was awesome and had an excellent attitude and personality. The drinks were exceptionally made which we appreciated very much. It was about 1PM, and the place was not yet super busy, but it was a great place to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Very relaxing to be honest. We hope to be back as soon as we can to experience more food choices and to come back here to compliment the meal. Very happy we chose to check this place out.”

“The food was excellent and our server was superb !! However, the young man who seated us must have been having a bad day. As he showed us to a table, I asked if there were any booths available. He replied rather snappish , "Not at this time." Though clearly booths were available in the same section. As our server arrived to take our drink order, she was more than happy and accommodating to move us 2 places over to an available booth. Once again, I'm sorry he was having a bad day. But, perhaps he should seek a different line of employment if he can't handle such a simple request. I'm thankful I did not allow his sour attitude ruin my birthday dinner with my polite ex military boyfriend (who could have knocked the wind out of his smart mouth) in about 5 seconds.”

“Food was very good. I am extremely excited to go back and try the cinnamon rolls and get a few bags of bacon. The best thing of all, however, was the customer service.Because of issues with our banks, we had issues with initial payment for our food. The staff was completely understanding and empathetic about our issue. Instead of being rude or making us more embarrassed that we already were, they found a seat for us to go sit at and served us our food while we figured things out. They weren't concerned with the money - their concern was making sure we had a great experience. Eventually, the banking issue was situated and we could pay for our food.In a modern world where great, or even good, customer service is all but dead, this is a hidden gem. So far we've tried their House Made Focaccia, Roasted Beets, Tavolata Salad, Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe (my fav!), Rigatoni, Pappardelle, and the Zeppole. ALL were perfection! Several reviewers were "put off" by the noise. Yes, it's on the. noisy side. BUT, the noise is from people having a lovely time at a wonderful restaurant eating fabulous food! In my view, a busy, noisy restaurant usually means a great place to dine! Until I return I will dream about that Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe!”
