“Loved this place!! The atmosphere was colorful and inviting, so fun! There's lots of seating and isn't very loud, a great place to visit with friends. The service was so kind and very helpful. I couldn't decide what to eat and they were kind enough to recommend a dish that ended up being delicious! The service was very efficient, we got our food within 10 minutes.I ordered the #25 Birria tacos with a horchata. The birria tacos were DELICIOUS! If you don't know what to get, this is a great choice. The tacos were crispy with delicious soft meat inside; they paired so well and became so juicy when dipped in the birria. To pull it all together crispy cheese was cooked on the outer tortilla. The horchata was cold and delicious, very authentic! While we waited for our food we had access to a salsa bar with 4 different kinds of salsa and unlimited chips. So good!! The beans and rice were also delicious.If you're looking for a delicious, comfortable, authentic place for Mexican food, this is it!!“

“Everything was delicious! Best gyros I've ever had. Everyone in our party of 6 left full and satisfied. Spanakopita was wonderfully flaky and tasty.“
“I suffer from dairy/egg allergy and eating on the road is a challenge. When I’m in Boise on errands I know I can go to Roots and find something quick, fresh and delicious. In addition they have an e eclectic selection of ERTH beverages that I highly recommend! My efforts to use less plastic is what initially drew me to participate in their kickstarter drive but now I come for yoga (see their class schedule) gift shopping, herbals (vervain is adjacent) and of course plastic free shopping.“

“Everything tastes homemade and like it was made with love. I'm being so serious. This place should be featured on Food Network at some point. HUGE shout out to the chefs. They are just straight up talented. (Order the al pastor taco plate :)“

“Best outdoor venue with expansive views of both the Boise River and the Riverside Hotel’s outdoor pool. As a musician and a guest who enjoys music, the talents at the Sandbar are fantastic, the food mmm so good & the staff attentive & friendly. I keep returning- and it’s bikeable from my home!“
