There should be a rule of getting more than two cookies because I could barely have the one that I had. Each one was uniquely amazing and I was only upset at the fact I ate real food before.This is for sure a guilty pleasure reward after a hard day of work in the field.“

I opted for the kana-fa cookie. Got 2 bc it was a limited flavor to be gone this week. It has 3 cheeses inside and is Mediterranean inspired. It was good. I gifted the other to the ladies in my office. It was huge! I would return bc I want to try the chocolate chip. But I'm not a fan of these oversized cookies. The place was spotless and they have an open kitchen where they were... you guessed it... making cookies.“

It’s so so soft and delicious with the perfect amount of sweetness in each bite. I really like the coconut tres leches but my personal favorite is just the regular one. “I am a Puerto Rican muslim who has been searching for a halal Spanish restaurant from NJ, CHI, PR, and Fl and could not find one! Until I stumbled across Sazones. I initially thought this was too good to be true and that I was going to be disappointed, and I was WRONG. Although they did not have my favorite Pollo giusado, their rotisserie chicken, steak, sweet plantains, tostones and my favorite alcapurria made up for it.“

“So glad to find a bakery that serves best quality pastry right here in Chicago!!! My head gets dizzy just by looking at those many pleasant varieties to choose from!!! The delicious and pleasant looking fruit tarts are filled with sweet cream and fresh berries. They have many kinds of great breads with chocolate, custards, green tea, sun dried tomatoes, and even black sesame filling, all with fluffy textures and delicious seasonings. The cakes selections are tremendous! Based on sponge cake, they can make all kinds of different filling with cream and fruits with artistic design! Coffee is great as well! So glad that I don't have to spend expensive airline tickets to Taiwan all the time in order to find my favorite pastries!!! I can get it in Chicago!!! However, I do recommend the store offering wax paper instead of plastic bag to hold the selections when one brings them to the counter. Environment first ;)“

“I went there craving for something sweet after 6 PM on Friday. Ordered a chocolate brioche, a coconut chocolate chip caramel cookie and a chocolate cookie. Everything seemed to be freshly baked, unexpectedly heavy, and full of filling, so it took the two of us three days to consume this good stuff. And I never had an issue with a lack of appetite.I personally prefer less sweet options, but these cookies are not as sweet as traditional American staples, and I appreciate that. If you want a cookie so packed with stuff it becomes a bit overpowering, the coconut one is a good choice. Not complaining though. It fed the two of us.Brioche was a bit too thick for my taste, but it was also good.The service that I experienced is what I assume to be typical for Chicago: slightly poker-faced and nonchalant but not rude or anything like that.I would give this bakery another try for the items that I haven’t eaten yet.“

They explained the menu, super polite, service with a smile, and it came naturally. We will definitely be back. My mom got the caramel pound cake slice, while I got a slice of the orange. “Nice, upscale (Western style) bakery. Came in for a birthday cake that start at $42 for a small, ready cake. Interesting flavor combinations. Picked the strawberry lychee cake that had some fresh strawberries and was very moist with a layer of fresh lychee "sauce/puree" incorporated. Good variety of fresh macaroons to choose from. Located in Chinatown Square Mall on Archer with access to the store from inside the mall as well as the Archer St side.Parking: Perimeter metered street parking around the mall.“

“Great dessert shop! It's certainly pricey but the chew of the pastry and wide variety of alternating flavors are a nice treat on occasion. Maybe some flavors may not be as good as other flavors but I think that's subjective. Overall, they're tasty treats. Recently, they introduced their version of the viral Korean egg sandwiches. The bread was buttery and fried. Egg was fluffy. Really good. Their jasmine milk tea was fragrant and nice. Staff are always nice. Decent amount of seating for small groups.“
