“First time Golden Bear in Lansing. The food and service was great. However, when I checked my bank account I was charged $9.98 more then the amount on the receipt I received from the register. When I went back the manager was very nice & helpful. She refunded the $. The restaurant receipt had the same amount. I pulled up my bank account & showed her the amount from my bank. We both thought it was so strange! Maybe the register malfunctioned? Again the manager was awesome!“

“I got the fiesta skillet with chicken sausage instead of chorizo with apple cinnamon pancakes and I liked the meal except for the chicken sausage that was added and it’s only because they were patties instead of links. My daughter enjoyed her Oreo pancakes and my other daughter didn’t like her breakfast quesadilla because it didn’t have that authentic taste but she says she will try something else next time.“

The French toast and grits were lacking some flavor. The grits were bland. The Omelette was good. The French toast didn't really have a taste to it. “The pancakes are amazing! Never had such great tasting food! The hash browns and bacon were on point. I ordered crispy and they came out to perfection not burnt or soggy. The strawberries were so fresh and the coffee also had great taste no after taste or old taste. The servers were super friendly and polite. Super fast service. Over all amazing totally recommend it!
