“Very nice people, very knowledgeable of wine, they also serve wine by the glass and have tastings on Saturdays, we can’t wait to go back“
“I'm honestly pretty surprised by the number of poor reviews for this Whole Foods. Whole Foods on Green Bay is much much larger and better stocked than the Whole Foods on Chicago Ave in Evanston. They have a large produce and bakery/deli section, a great butcher selection with friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a wide selection in their floral section and well as their and beer & wine department. They have a lot of grab and go options from soup, hot bar and salad bar as well as pizza, smoothies, and coffee. Staff are eager to help you and will go look in the back for you if your item isn't on the shelf. They always have a lot of registers open to check-out goes pretty quickly. While prices are a little higher than most other grocery store chains, I've noticed most of their produce is much more fresh and they often have sales and now have special Amazon Prime member prices. I have also had great luck with their catering too!“

“Had so much for fun sitting at the kitchen counter watching the talented chefs at work. Our waiter made excellent suggestions. And the food… well it was out of this world! Definitely going back .. so many more dishes to try!“
“Not going to lie, the beer “A Smile With A Future In It” hazy double ipa, is honestly one of the best beers I’ve ever had.Truly, all of my protons, neutrons, and electrons (basically all of my atoms) light the heck up upon tasting. P.s. Marcus the bartender is a gem & will take the best care of you. Love this Spot!“

“We needed a place to stay close to the Concord music hall, and found the Leavitt St. Inn and Tavern. Every element of our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The menu at the inn was a purposefully short, curated list of bar food, and everything we tried was incredible. The tavern had a great neighborhood feel, and the room we stayed in was well-appointed, and just right for my wife and me. We met the owners within a few moments of arriving, and immediately felt welcomed. I highly recommend the Leavitt St. Inn and Tavern to anyone looking for a hidden gem of a place to stay while visiting Chicago. We can't wait until we travel north again, because we know where we are staying! 5 stars! A++++“

“Beer spot with around 20 beers on draft. They don't sell food, only a few snacks but You can bring your own food, play some games or to go there for trivia. Very cosy place with a good selection of can beers ( around 200). Cool place to hang out with some friends on afternoon or evening . Highly recommend “

“The food was delicious, my husband loved the burritos and the slaw. Also, I don't know the name of the person who served us today. But there were quite a few people and he was alone, with one person in the kitchen, he still kindly served us all, thank you very much for that.“

“I'm so glad G's is back open! The whole vibe of the place has changed. Make sure you stop by to see Esther on Wed or Fri. She makes the whole experience better! From having a expert knowledge of drinks to her warm and welcoming personality, she makes your night! It's a lively and colrful feel and the patio is out of this world!“
“I've been knows the number of times and I've always liked it. They've done a lot building out the rear space and that's nice to have expanded area because it was a little bit tight before. They have a stage in the main area which allows them to have entertainment.“

“I never believed my life will change in such a manner. I saw a review on Facebook about Mrs Craig Vanessa trading skills and before then I have never risk money doing anything online with anybody because I think I was so wise and never want to be cheated but when I contacted Mrs. Craig Vanessa, she explained everything to me concerning trading and the profit I can make within a week I was convinced to give a trial and risked to invest $1,000 and I made a withdrawal profit of $9,000 within a week. I am so happy that I trusted her and she didn't fail me. You can reach her through WhatsApp via her Facebook: Mrs Craig Vanessa“

“They have great outdoor seating and a large menu for both food and drink. The service was a little slow as it seemed they only had one waitress who was waiting on the entire outdoor section, but that isn’t enough to make me not come back to this neighborhood spot.“

“Indulging in the culinary delights at R Public House in Chicago was a sensory experience like no other. Opting to dine outside, I found myself perched on the sidewalk, with the majestic Lake Michigan at my back and the Red line to the west. A gentle cross breeze played with my hair as I eagerly awaited the arrival of the much-anticipated bacon fig burger. The moment of truth arrived as I took the first bite of the burger, and I was instantly transported to a realm of gastronomic bliss. The combination of succulent bacon, rich goat cheese, and tangy pickled red onions created a symphony of flavors that danced on my taste buds. The crowning glory was the fig jam dip, offering a sweet contrast that elevated the dish to new heights. As I savored each bite, I couldn't help but appreciate the artistry behind the dish and the attention to detail in its presentation. The timing of that first bite was indeed crucial, allowing me to fully appreciate the harmonious blend of ingredients with each mouthful. In conclusion, dining at R Public House was not just a meal but a culinary journey that left me craving for more. From the picturesque setting to the exquisite flavors, every aspect of the experience was nothing short of exceptional. If you find yourself at R Public House, do yourself a favor and savor the bacon fig burger—it's a delight that will linger in your memory long after the last bite.“

“I was blown away by the flavors! Everything we ordered was awesome. The drinks were so refreshing and flavorful. The lamb roganjosh was delicious. The saag paneer and dal makhni were excellent. Portions are generous and we were served a large bowl of rice on the house. The bread pudding was spiced with chai flavor and was truly unique. We had great service with Keenan. Will definitely be coming back to try all the other dishes on the menu!“

“Lucky Dorr is a hidden gem in Wrigley! I love going in for a couple beers and meeting fellow neighbors or introducing friends to the amazing staff, fantastic beer selection, and extremely dog friendly space! The beer list is all craft and local, which is hard to find in the land of Bud and Miller sponsored bars. (Don't get me wrong, there is a time and a place for a High Life or Old Style)This evening I drank 2 of their collaboration beers and one returning favorite, which were delicious. I'm looking forward to visiting Kyle and the team while trying the rest of the tap list to find my favorites throughout the season!“
“I did not have a neighborhood bar before The Double, and I have not had one since. Henry is the man--lots of fun and good at making sure newbies and regular customers are taken care of. One of my all-time favorite memories at The Double was watching the Blackhawks win the Cup in 2013. More typically, my brother, friends and I would drink good beer and enjoy the atmosphere and head-nodding music.“

“Great bar in the Lincoln Park area service German style food. We stopped in and were very impressed with the beer selection. I am a big fan of Hefeweizen beer and they had multiple different heffes on tab, which is very unusual in Chicago bars. I ended up getting a burger. The cheeseburger was decent, little more greasy than I would. The bar tender working that night was very helpful and we got our beer and food fast.Looking forward to coming back to try other drafts and the German style food I have seen on the menu.“

“This place has the best vibes ever, good beer selection, good liquor, and excellent food as well. The bartender is super cool and plays classic movies all night. I recommend checking out the handshake menu, and if you need food the wings are very good and the fries come out hot and fresh! I wish we lived within walking distance because we'd go here a lot more!“

“Ceasar Salad was so delicious, and their fries were great. Their outside patio is really nice and the atmosphere is great for date nights. It can definitely get loud in here, though. The service was just okay, not very attentive. It seemed like there was just one person taking care of tables.“

“Rocks Lakeview has a great atmosphere. Most recently I met a friend here on a Friday afternoon and it was decently busy but not packed. Bartender was lovely and all the other guests were friendly. The happy hour is a good deal and the pear bear drink packs a punch. The hummus platter is quite large and it was plenty for the two of us for an afternoon snack. It's a cozy atmosphere, nothing stuffy. I was 15-20 minutes earlier than my friend, and it was not a place that made you feel awkward being solo, either. Very nice welcoming vibes“

“God, I love me some dive bars, more so when they're located in centralized locations i.e. on a major street, sandwiched between two train stops. The Harding Tavern is so much more than your average dive bar, though. With dine-in seating, you have premium beer/cocktail options on top of meals fit for any type of day. Their tap options are stacked, in my opinion. They have a rotating 'pint of the month' that highlights an alluring $5 price tag. Special mention, these guys have Goose Island Bourbon County stout on tap, which, to me, is incredible. I'm never in the market to buy a full bottle of one of these drinks, so a 10 oz pour is just right. The tavern itself is pretty compact, with the bar area located in the middle of everything, so it's pretty easy to get a tender's attention. Service is always prompt no matter the time of day. Brunch deals are available with their complimentary mimosas with a brunch entree purchased and a $38 package deal that includes a bottle of bubbly + OJ. I think the THT is a solid option to grab a drink in Logan Square. Great to bring some friends, to bring a first date, or to just grab a drink and watch a sports ball game alone. No judgment! Its accessibility alone to the NW side of the city is reason enough to check this bar out.“

“Another "not my first time here, but first Google Review" for this place! Been going here ever since their first day but not as frequently as imagined. They definitely have some unique beers as well as fun events throughout the years, one notably was an outdoor hip hop concert with Twista, Big Boi and Sleepy Brown, which was 1yr post-COVID. Recently went for their whopping 10 year anniversary (Fri 12/15/23) and the beers were absolutely and generously flowing. They opened up the back for a nice 80s cover band concert and also had pop up food and wine vendors. Videos here of that night. Whether for an event or not, this brewery is worth coming back to again and again.“
