The looks of the restaurant is down home Cafe style. Nothing fancy or over decorated. It has an extensive menu. The food we ordered was great! Our dishes were definitely reminiscent of Mexico. The service was great. Couldn't ask for a better server. It's a little high on cost, but its genuine. Definitely will be going back.

The dishes are very well served and very rich in seasoning, I especially love the mole enchiladas?
This is one of my favorite Mexican spots for when I need to grab something on my way back home from work. I mostly do take out . Their pollo en mole which they offer most days is tasty, and I love that they include handmade fresh tortillas with it. The Chile relleno a staple dish is also a gem on their menu, I order it with the non spicy tomato sauce, and finish every bite. Their Mexican rice is nice and they give you chips and salsa with your meal. I've tried their sopes, they were okay, their tortas were good. Overall friendly service and accommodating. If you're looking for a taste of "home", this is a great place!

Based on the reviews, we came here for dinner as a family of 4. I like how the dining room is separate from the take out area and kitchen. We ordered combination 1 & 2 and cheese quesadillas for the kids. All the food was seasoned well and delicious, better tasting than some of the Mexican places we have in Oak Park. We got complimentary chips and salsa (it was warm so that's a nice touch). Definitely will come back more often!
