Since I needed for the 25th, they opened specifically for my order.....Wow!! The service was phenomenal the food was exceptional!! Truly blessed to have them in the neighborhood! Puerto Rican rice, tostones. lechon, ham and potato salad enough for the entire family (25 people) with left overs for the next day. Thank you doesn't seem enough for the owners. “I stopped here with my family because we had around an hour to kill and boy I’m glad we did. The classic margaritas was very authentic and delicious. Churros was perfectly crunchy while also being soft. Didn’t have a chance to try more than that but I know the food has to be fire and I will forsure be back for it. Service was casually good, and the atmosphere was cool but tbh I didn’t expect the food to be so authentic because of it. That to show you don’t judge a book by its cover. I added a piece of carne asada the meat was tender seasoned well and really delicious. Everything was delicious and very fulfilling. You get your bang for your buck honestly. I ordered pickup because the restaurant is really small always crowded and very very busy, usually there's a line of people waiting outside to dine in. My only complaint really was trying to get someone to answer the phone to place my order it's always the issue but other than that the food is delicious and worth the wait and money.“

“We came here for the first time late on a Friday evening. This was one of the best Mexican places around. Even though it is recommended to order ahead, my wife and I had to check the place out. There are 4 stools in the front window which were occupied and the people actually were served with food on plates. We were there for 15 minutes and were able to see them cook, take orders, and see people picking their orders up. They were very busy with the orders. We ordered the 2 taco dinners with steak and pastor and were both were one of the best around.“

I was not having a good day but tried my best to not show it. As I'm eating I saw a man come in. Eat by himself and then left. My surprise when I went to go pay. This man had paid for my food. I then moved on to the Zamora, ordered medium rare, the marination of the steak was impeccable as well as my cook temp being spot on medium rare, it was quite enjoyable. “Good find. Interesting concept of "nacho pizza." We tried the cheeseburger nachos, and a "make your own." They have vegan cheese which was a surprise and actually good! The vegan cheese was made out of tapioca. They have tacos as well if you're not interested in nachos. Kid friendly, they had a few high chairs, and great outside seating.“

“The food here at least for the carnitas, are hands down the best, i live near the ORD airport and used to drive down all the way down to the southside for some good carnitas. Thank goodness, I no longer have to since finding this gem of a restaurant. Another indication that this place is great is because it always has customers, never empty. Oh, and their champurado is da bomb! I haven't tried other stuff on their menu like tacos, flautas, etc. But I can vouch for the carnitas. staff is also friendly and very clean.“
