“The Mrs. & I wanted somewhere to watch the game & get something good to eat without a reservation.. we figured Tucci's was always pretty good & was never really crowded so we shot up there only to find out that they were closed.. permanently! What to do? I'd looked at Juniper On Main online earlier, just out of curiosity, & since it was only 3 minutes away.. we figured we'd roll the dice & try it out.. What a pleasant surprise it was! Lots of southern comfort food & seafood options for our pescatarian diet. They close at 9 & we got there around 8:20 so we figured we'd have to hurry up & get our order in, but there were so many interesting choices.. it was hard trying to make quick picks.. everything that we got was good, but we're definitely gonna have to go back soon because there's still alot more stuff that we wanna try out.. ?Dietary restrictions: My wife has complicated dietary restrictions, but there were enough menu options that she was able to find something she could enjoy. They also took her restrictions into consideration & made her meal to her liking.Parking: The parking lot was kind of small & we weren't able to find a spot, but there was plenty of street parking available. We were able to park right in front with no problem.“

I usually order the same thing but one of the employees offered me a sample of a new flavor called jalapeño holly which is my new favorite! You have to finish your meal off with a refreshing watermelon sweet tea!!“

“I ordered online. I've ordered a couple times online and always was a little sad that my pie in a jar always came in a deli container. I had ordered carry out a while ago and would always get my pie in a jar, so it would make me a bit sad when I ordered online and it came in a deli container. I had just assumed since it was delivery that it couldn't be in a glass container or something.In my last delivery order, I put to 'pls pls put in jar<3' to maybe see if that would work. I just really like the jars, I think it's a fun thing. When my order arrived, there was a paper bag with a note from the General Manager herself, Lexi. She let me know that they no longer serve the pies in a jar, but she gave me one of the extras they had lying around, for free!!! It was honestly one the kindest things a restaurant has done for me. If I had known that they just no longer use the jars, I would not have asked. I'm forever grateful for their kindness. It really made my day. Thanks Lexi!!! :D <3“

“I am from out of town visiting Indianapolis for business. I was getting food to in drive through, when I was asked if it was my first time I was encouraged (if I had time) to come inside to sample all the flavors before making a decision. Upon entering the store I received such a warm and friendly welcome. Everyone had a smile on their face and seemed happy. I tried several flavors and a soup. The gentleman that was waiting on me was incredibly attentive and helpful. It seemed he really wanted me to have a good experience. He shared what his favorites were and was engaging. The restaurant was so clean and bright. The food was delicious and my meal included a cookie!!100% would recommend, absolutely no complaints!!“

“My son and I was in the area and decided to stop in. Parking was overwhelming. Once we got in we were seated with the most amazing, attentive, respectful, aesthetic friendly server, Mailiyah. She was so polite. Provided a lot of fun facts about the menu and the owner! Super cute! The food was delicious! We’ll be back as long as Mailiyah is there with her big bright smile!“

“I enjoy placing a order online to pick up and never have a be concerned that my order is missing anything. This time when I got there to pick up my order I was surprised that I had to wait for over a half hour before it was ready. I ordered the peach cobbler but what I got was individual servings instead of the order that served 5 people and no one explained why the change. I also requested the corn bread with each meal but I only got 3 bags containing 2 pieces of corn bread. Instead of contacting Cracker Barrel and questioning my order I thought that I was shorted on the corn bread due to the Easter holiday and I didn't get my pan of peach cobbler for the same reason. In order to ensure that I will have plenty of food for my get-together I made more corn bread and another dessert. I now know that before I ever leave the restaurant I need to verify that everything I ordered is in my bag.“

“So many variety of chicken salad - I was overwhelmed. I chose the Fancy Nancy and Olivia’s South in croissant. Loaded potato soup was delicious . The Mac n cheese was not great. Lemonade was great! Overall Service was slow and busy for a weekend.“

“This is my first visit to Joella's. I live like 5 blocks but never came in the 2 yrs I've lived in Indy. I had the quarter half, tweener level heat, mash tators and colored greens. The chicken was cooked to perfection, perfect crunch, perfect spice/heat. Might try hotter next time. The mashed tators and the "kickin" gravy were delicious. Now, the colored greens. Folks, there is a science to cooking great colored greens. Cook'em slow and low, good seasoning, get that tenderness. Y'all, these colored greens were so freakin good, they will make you slap your momma, then turn around and ask her to slap you back! Amazing!Folks get here, eat, be super happy. “Came to town for a concert, and on the way home, I was craving fried chicken. Googled, "best fried chicken" and this place showed up. The fried chicken was indeed phenomenal, and the Mac and cheese was the best I've ever had. the potatoes and the green beans were amazing, too. But the best thing about this restaurant is the people. Every person we interacted with was insanely kind, so very warm and welcoming, and we're already planning on driving the 2.5 hours back for more food! Huge portions, very reasonable pricing. You will not leave hungry, that's for sure!“

“The food was amazing. Sadly they were out of oxtails so curiosity had me try the turkey chops and they were magnificent. Tender, filling and with an amazing gravy. The green beans and collard greens were wonderful as was the fried okra. Was there with a friend who got the ribs and commented on how great the sauce was. I plan to come again as well as telling friends about it.“

“Didn't expect it to be this good. We had chicken Sammie with garlic Parmesan fires and wings with mashed potatoes. Garlic Parmesan fries were awesome, Sammie was crispy and tender. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely eat there again.“
