“I understand why all of Jasper is talking about this place. With as many mexican restaurants in Jasper, IN I was truly not excited about another one. I was pleasently surprised. The food is good but I'm pretty sure it's the staff and the atmospher that actually make this place better than the rest. HINT: The Mahi Mahi Taco's will turn your hands BLUE :) lol”

“i cant possibly describe in words how awesome this place and its owner are..i arrived at 8:50 and they close at 9pm and i asked if ok to order and he said absolutely..i really wanted pizza but this was a cajun place but he did have pizza..i told him a story of a pizza i had in new orleans that was made with crawfish etoufee and it was good..he didnt have any cajun style pizza on his menu and he said i can do that and he sd you are gonna be my experiment today and he made me a crawfish pizza from scratch and even let me see his kitchen and the finished product..it was an amazing experience..if you ever go to the restaurant ask for the nate special pizza and you will be glad you did..”

“This is yet another gem in Jasper! Wonderful staff, great atmosphere to go with hearty and tasty lunch options! Vegetarian salad and parfait were broth great! They have a fully stocked fridge with drink options ranging from sweet tea to soda to Poppi!”

“Chavas is the place to go when I am super hungry!” I love going to Chavas, it is like a qudoba or chipotle but waaaaay better. The parking here is spacious as is the seating. The building was clean and well taken care of. The food is very good. The burritos are MASSIVE and you can get anything on it you want. Chavas has that authentic Mexican food vibe that qudoba or chipotle can not compete with. I love their hot sauce selection.”

“Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Good bar selections. Didn't think the smoked foods had much of a smokey flavor. BBQ sauce on the pulled pork was very sweet. Wings were well cooked. Mac n chz was bland with a watery sauce.”

“After living in Jasper nearly my whole life, I'm ashamed to admit that I am only just now able to say that I've eaten at Snap's for the first time. But hey, better late than never! Lol. My grandmother took me out for lunch and highly recommended that I try their "gator bites"... Not gonna lie, I was slightly apprehensive to confidently order alligator (for the first time, too) in Jasper, Indiana. But since she couldn't say enough positive things about them, I gave in and ordered them as my main dish... Long story short- OH MY LAWD WERE THEY AMAZING! Definitely did not disappoint. Overall, they did a great job leaving a positive first impression on me. Now it all makes sense why Snap's is considered one of Jasper's staple restaurants. “This was my first time visiting a Culver's, and I must say it is probably the best drive-through experience I've ever had.. The young man who took my order was wonderful. Very polite and happy.. the young man that brought our food out to us was also very polite and even added "have a blessed day" before going back inside.. the food was delicious.. the whole experience was wonderful!”

“There are not any doors on the men's room restroom. Good was good Adrian was nice... Definitely a little sketchy... Cheap drinks, good food... They allow smoking still in the bar which is super nasty.”

“We've stopped by a couple of times when we're in town for basketball. Last year we got dairy free strawberry and this year we ordered dairy free Oreo. It's a coconut based ice cream that is vegan. Typical for these kind of ice creams, it has a strong coconut taste at first, second bite is less noticeable, and then quickly goes away. I thought it was delicious and appreciate that Zax Creamery has three vegan flavors and rotates them. Thank you for also clearly stating that your dairy free is vegan (which isn't always the case with "dairy free"). A stop at Zax Creamery is a must when in Jasper.”

“Nothing too special about the restaurant, food is good as any other takeout Chinese but they do have an amazing twice cooked pork if you love cabbage, they skimped on the egg rolls, they're smaller and seem bought not house made, the crab ragoon is really good.”

“Had lunch there today …. Best chicken fajita lunch anywhere. Real chicken breast cooked on a grill… not shredded bagged or canned. Steaming vegetables on a hot skillet….. served the way they are supposed to be served. Try the others but this restaurant has the freshest food in town”

“This is the definition of a hidden gem. The chicken is actually fried and the skin/breading is so delicious. I did not like the German potatoes, so I guess those are an acquired taste. The waitstaff makes one feel like a regular, even if you just visit once a year.”

“The beautiful mahogany bar draws you in but I recommend you stay for the food! The panini was great and artichoke dip delicious! The Martini of the month is always a good bet. The wait staff is super attentive even at the outdoor seating.”

“I cater several lunches a week. Fazolis did not make my catering order. I found this information out 15 minutes before it was supposed to be delivered. I called Jimmy John’s and they made me 15 sandwiches, cookies, and chips in 25 minutes to cater to my lunch. 5/5 stars! Thank you for being so flexible!”

“Cole slaw is fantastic! Fish is ok. I was expecting far better from the Catholic community. The tarter sauce looks great...I don't eat it. The staff are super friendly as if they own the place and that's great. The beer....Sister Mary Rose...she's a saint of a beer. Come for the beer stay for the trivia whenever it is.”

“Stopped for lunch while out shopping. This is one of the best restaurants I've eaten in for a long time. The wings were plump and juicy. Burgers were good sized and seasoned well. Buns were fresh. We recently moved to north Kentucky and are having a tough time finding good restaurants close to home. This was about an hour away, and we won't hesitate to drive again.”

“If you're in IRELAND, Indiana, you must stop here! We went on St. Paddy's Day and enjoyed an appetizer and a green beer. Beer in glasses or fish bowls only until 5pm because ~apparently~ it can get a little rowdy after 5pm on this particular holiday. Seriously though, I think the disposable cups are just more practical on such a busy day. Always great service and always get the pepper jack cheese appetizer. Delish! ☘️?”

“The lady working the counter was so friendly, and the food was fresh and amazing. The meat was freshly sliced in front of me and they weren't skimpy on the toppings at all. Its way fresher and better than subway honestly. Kinda sad this place has the poor ratings it does because this was honestly the best sub I've had in a while as a trucker and don't get to frequent anything other than subway. Id come back here again if it was on the way, they closed all of the blimpies by me so I never get a chance to eat here any more unless I'm traveling through here”

“I love the philly cheesesteak, and I love the brown Mustard on it when it is applied sparinly but unfortunately the one I had delivered today was smothered in the Mustard which made it totally inedible which was a huge disappointment.. tried to scrap some off but just didn't work... next time I will have it left off...”
