“Love the chicken here! Drive thru needs attention, no one watches it obviously! Sat in drive thru for 15 minutes at lunch time. Honked my horn, called, lady asked if I wanted to cancel!!! NO! I'm here now in the drive thru.Poor thing had no clue! Ended up goin inside and letting the 3 ladies standing at the counter know they had a line at the drive thru.Edit, things have definitely improved now!”

“We tried this restaurant first time and it’s yummy food. The photos at the entrance gives you an idea how the food looks. no credit or debit they use only cash service. My fav is the fried spring roles. The food is freshly made and it’s hot and great qty. price is reasonable. Will visit them again every time I come to this place. It’s definitely number one.Vegetarian options: They have spring roles that is vegetarianYou can tell them to remove meat to cook any dish you wished to have.”

“It feels Christmas every day when you have Holly as your server! She went above and beyond to give me the ultimate wing experience ! I was always told Ale Emporium Hermankis were the best wings in Indy ! WRON)!! Hollys recommendations were on point and wings were fresh, huge in size and simply delicious. I left sampling 7 varieties and with a huge smile on my face! Owners you should feel blessed to have someone that goes this far to give the customer this level of service ! Attentive with the beverage refills and truly giving my one of the best wing culinary experience ever ! At under $2 a wing including my fat tip and a nice serving of celery ! You can't beat this place. Stop going. To wing stop, and don't bother with Buffalo Wild Wings!”

“This is a newer place in Martinsville, Indiana. They are located on the main road by the new coffee shop and Sterling Butterfly. The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating was because our waitress was holding her child when she took our order. While I didn't really care but most paying customers might. So with that being said I guess kids are allowed inside. There is not a divider from the bar and seats. The inside had a rustic red brick and black trim. We shared our BLT flatbread sandwich it was plenty for us too. This is a must try. Also read the back page at the bottom for a laugh.”

“We’ve been here many times and never disappointed. The food is amazing! There is NO WAY you can leave this awesome place hungry! Even the biggest appetite will be pleased….. The servers here are good and take care of you. There is an older sweet lady there that cleans up the tables, I think her name is Mary. She is the hardest working grandma you’ll ever find. You will want to adopt her as your grandma, so sweet. The owners are always there working just as hard as the rest! What an awesome friendly place to visit, A MUST!Parking: You can park across the street at the courthouse if nothing is going on, but most of the time it’s ok to park there.Kid-friendliness: People bring their small children and grandchildren her all the time.”

“I don't know why, but I always forget about Indy's. It doesn't help that the interstate makes it confusing to get to if you don't know the area. However, if you find your way, you won't be disappointed. “This was our first visit to Gather Around. We were quickly seated. The food was great!. My husband had the ribs, onion rings, and candied bacon. One of our friends had bbq chicken, onion rings, and coleslaw. Our other friend had the Carolina bbq, candied bacon and potato salad I had the special - a tenderloin and fries. Everyone was pleased with their choices. Just wish the wait staff would have been a little more attentive by refilling our drinks. There was a lot of carryout orders. We will go there again.Parking: At 6pm on a Thursday evening, lots of street parking was available.”

“I have visited many Chinese Buffets and this by far is the best! Then bigger ones lose a lot of Quality when it comes to taste . This buffet keeps it small while still a great selection, which keeps the food always coming out on the line Hot and Fresh! I dare you to find any Chinese buffet around any better! You wont! I Guarantee it! Its always worth the 30 minute drive from Indy! Try it and you will see!”

“I was a bit disappointed on this go around. Purchased a bacon Gouda breakfast sandwich to go with my coffee. I don't think I have major expectations for a *$ sandwich, but this had like one thin piece of bacon. Either jack the prices up (which everyone has) or lower the quality of the food (which apparently is happening in the case of their sandwiches) but don't do both. Coffee was fine and the staff were great as usual.”

“My teens and I love to come here for lattes and other beverages. Sometimes they have muffins available; I cannot resist the cinnamon muffin! The employees are kind. There are a few tables to enjoy your beverage and food inside. The menu is on the wall, very artistically. The interior is cleverly decorated with the “grind” theme, in the gear sense and the work sense. It can be loud, due to the beverage machines.Dietary restrictions: They usually have quite a few sugar-free options.Parking: There is a small public lot across the street and a few nearby street spaces.”

“I was thirsty and stopped by for a thirst quenching drink. The woman staffer asked me what I wanted and I said I had no clue. She asked if it was my first time there and I said yes. She explained how the smoothies are meal replacements in terms of protein, not calories (they are low in calories). She asked if I was hungry and I said no. I said I was thirsty and she said I should get a boosted tea, so I did. Then she asked if I wanted full caffeine, or half, or none. I went with none this time.So the tea I picked out was the Lemon-Lime Lemonade. It was tart just like real lemonade and I really couldn't taste any difference. I liked the one I picked out this time but I see others I could choose next time for sure. I like how they do their lids. It's not a lid like you get for a fountain drink. It is like shrink wrap and it seals very well. The black straws are pointed to help spear a hole thru the lid.They had just finished hosting a benefit over the weekend and still had silent auction baskets available. I see lots of people coming and going out of this business all the time and hope everyone continues to patronize this small local business.”

“Just left here after our first time dining and we will absolutely be back! I've lived in and been around the Martinsville area for a few decades now and I'm so sorry I didn't try this place sooner. Two adults and one child dined on an X-Large sausage and pepperoni with extra cheese, I got the tossed salad, and we had an order of breadsticks with the nacho cheese. We each got Cokes and it was $53.35. We devoured it, too :) The sauce isn't like any other sauce around and the crust was amazing, as were the breadsticks. The dining room is very large and would accommodate quite a large with ease. It was a pleasant atmosphere all around. The hostess was our waitress as well and she checked on us with perfect timing right when you'd want her to every time. We eat a lot of pizza and we will certainly be back. “Wanted some ice cream, looked up local places, and it directed us to inside scoop.The drive-through was hard to understandIt is a drive-through, but there is no speaker to place your orderYou simply drive up to a sign they have placed and wait for them to come outside to take your orderWe questioned ourselves if we could place an order at one of the walk-up windows as it was not clearly marked, but we did not ask the employeeEmployee was nice, took our order, and brought our treats a few moments later.Again, we got confused by the drive through, actually had to take a 2nd lap to figure it out.Feel free to judge me, lol, I was trying my best to understand.The treats were amazing!!Service was solid”

“This was our first visit and we were impressed. I was told to get the prime rib but unfortunately by the time we got there which was 7:00, they were out of it already. So if you're interested in getting the prime rib, recommend getting there early. Instead I had a ribeye steak which was one of the best I've had anywhere. My wife had their boom boom shrimp which was pretty spicy but also quite good. They can get busy so you might consider reservations or be ready to wait a bit to get a table. Our server was somewhat harried but worked quite hard and earned her tip that night.”

“Service at the bar table was good. Food came out warm, looked, and tasted as expected. If you're cold natured, I'd bring a light jacket. There was a small wait during peak Friday hours, so plan ahead. It's a solid spot for mid-range, Martinsville eats.”
