“Property does have somewhat of a rustic charm, but it does not have a running water bathroom, which could be a serious problem for lots of folks (portable outhouse only).The food and drink are fantastic. The people are friendly.One of the most difficult things is you never know when they're going to be open. We live just a few miles away, so I go by there all the time, so sometimes we hope to eat a meal there instead of cooking at home. So if you're relying on them for food and you don't have a plan b, you should call ahead. I think they're trying to be open Thursday through Saturday, but sometimes they're closed when they should be open, etc.Recently they have remodeled the building, but I haven't been there this season to see if the inside has changed.Obviously, I'd like to see if they could get the septic system and the bathroom installed, also, a nice fire pit on a cool evening would be very inviting.“
“Fun trip with my daughter and granddaughter! Fun things to do!!! Updated and clean! Good food! It would be nice to see some of the parents off their phones and interact or at least watch their children! No fault of the hotel! They provided an amazing play space and pool!! The trail into town was awesome!“
“We have been coming here since they opened. We continually bring friends and recommend. Owners are personable and involved, truly care about your experience. Kitchen staff cares just as equally and takes pride in the food. We will continue to visit regularly and recommend it to others. BEST PIZZA IN BROWN COUNTY. BEST STEAKS IN BROWN COUNTY. BEST MAC AND CHEESE AND THE BACON JAM BRUSSEL SPROUTS...I could eat them every day. Yum!“
“This is a must-visit spot for anyone that enjoys good food and good drinks. It's a massive complex in the picturesque hills outside of Nashville that has a great atmosphere and ambiance. They have tons of merch and bottled liquors for purchase as well as a large bar and dining area. The menu has mainly American fare options to go along with an expansive beer and liquor menu. We got the pot roast and also tried the pretzel appetizer. Both were delicious and the portion sizes were large. I also tried the peanut butter Russian drink which was delicious! They are kid friendly, with lots of families in the dining room. Service was friendly, but we did have a 30 minute wait on a Thursday evening despite half of the dining room being empty. Seems like they might be a bit short staffed during the week.“
