“My mom and I love to visit Batar when we have the chance. It is surrounded by pine trees and a lush garden. On the inside it has a whimsical cafe vibe. The staff is always friendly. The food is always fresh. And their freshly brewed tea is always to die for. It is a unique experience and I highly recommend trying this place!”

“Our 3yr old loves the sweet potato fries. I had a chicken wrap that was very good. We all shared a plate of nachos with chicken; it's one of our favorite dishes there. I love that the chicken is grilled and lean meat.”

“Me and my family showed up looking for something to eat. They had just closed their kitchen about fifteen minutes before, but we decided to hang out and enjoy some live music. Well, Aaron heard we were looking for food, asked if chili dogs would be okay, and served us the last three that had been set aside! He, and all the rest of the staff there, went out of their way to make us feel super welcome and comfortable. I wish we weren't just passing through and could make this a regular place. Can't recommend highly enough!”

“The salsa at the table is excellent with the chips. It has the right amount of cilantro and onion. It sits on the chip like a championship rodeo rider. Then the tacos! What a delicious steak/asada taco. So full of flavor, meaty goodness. No gristle, just a perfect chewy bite. The chorizo was full of flavor, too. Not too oily or fatty. Damn close to the perfect chorizo taco. These are now my new standard for taco goodness! The salsa for the tacos.... the green avocado,jalapeño crema salsa may be the best thing ever to go on a taco. The red crema salsa was rockin' and is the second best thing to go on a taco!This crew is doing amazing things here. You need to come in and try the tacos. I just wish I didn't live 4 hours away.”

“Great variety of delicious doughnuts. They're white filling is different than the norm....more like a powdered sugar base...still very good...and they always seem to stuff their filled doughnuts to the max! Haven't tried the breakfast sandwiches yet...but they look good too!”

“It's a small but very cozy place!! The cookies and cream and strawberry wafers (which is what I ordered) are delicious ☺️. They have ice cream and shakes on their menu. It is a place that can be romantic ?, or simply to have a good time with friends. The prices seemed fair to me. Fully recommended!”

“I don't come to Seymour often so I jumped at the opportunity to try this place. It is decorated so cute and cozy. I loved the Christmas decor and the Home Alone movie playing. I got the oatmeal pie cookie and it was amazing!!! My husband got the apple pie cupcake and he loved it as well. Very moist and fresh. I will for sure stop by here again.”

“Visited Seymour, IN for the first time a few weeks ago and Seymour Brewing Company was recommended as a must stop and I can’t say enough nice things about the staff and the owner Shawn! Great food, craft beer, and atmosphere! The Irish Red and Earache top my list. I need more pickle pizza and Nashville hot wings in my life. The vibe here is awesome with love and support for live music! We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!”

“One of the best drive-in's I've been to in the state of Indiana. From the road, it doesn't look like much, but everything about the experience was great! We all got the tenderloin (one of them was the Ms. Pig, a double) and they were amazing. They're not the thin ones that we're used to, they're thick and hand-pounded and very fresh. The shakes were also phenomenal. The staff were also very friendly. At one point we were the only people in the lot, and the waitress and who I believe was the owner stood in the lot to talk to us as we ate. Will definitely stop by again the next time I'm through Seymour”

“Just traveling through and happened to stop in Seymour IN. Hotel clerk recommended Pizza Palace. Great pizza. I used to work in a pizza joint so pretty much a pizza snob. So outstanding. Did carry out other was ready when we got there. In and out in 2 minutes.I would go here again”

“Great find! The seafood is fresh, delicious and abundant! My wife’s campechana cocktail was as big as her head no joke. I had the mixed ceviche and it was terrific. My SIL’s fish tacos could feed a family of three. Service was friendly and extremely attentive. Prices were not outrageous for seafood either. Highly recommended!”

“VERY impressed with this place! Doesn't look like much from the outside but this is the best authentic Mexican food! The sign on the front door said cash only, and there was an ATM inside as well, but they did accept card. Staff was all bilingual and very friendly. I love having authentic Coke in a bottle with my Mexican - theirs is the real deal. I highly recommend the street tacos. The meat is marinated just right. The burritos are huge portions - could definitely split with a friend if you wanted. Service was prompt without being rushed. Thanks for a great experience, can't wait to be back!”

“Literally so good I almost died. I don't know how I've lived in Jackson County for so long and had not stopped in here but y'all... . I had bariatric surgery 5yrs ago and I pushed that tiny gremlin tummy to the limit eating enchiladas. IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST DANG THINGS I HAVE EVER EATEN! And their homemade salsa ? I KNOW you all better not be sleeping on that! It's the BEST tasting salsa I have had in this county hands down. I'm not sure I can even go back, I'll probably rupture my stomach... But it may be worth it ??. Props to my husband for recommending we go it is ?, affordable, the service we had was just impeccable, and it wasn't even busy! I door dash and let me tell you, everywhere in Seymour was PACKED. You want delicious mouth watering food baby Mexican? STOP IN YOU WILL HAVE NEGATIVE INFINITY REGRETS! “It's a perfect hole in the wall type place bar and restaurant. This is the third time i've been there, and I will be back. I've had their Country Fried Steak, and it was excellent. I had a hamburger last time that was okay but still great for bar food. French fries were out of this world, but the iced tea tasted like "drink gun tea." You can't beat it for a small hole in the wall where food is good and people are friendly.”

“I love the atmosphere and the customer service of this place. The food is good. The sushi menu is diverse. The food is a bit pricey, though.I do have a few concerns. One is the variety of the rest of the menu.I know that in a small town as Seymour that the palette can only be expanded so far but perhaps a ramen menu? Japanese curry and rice? Rice bowls?These are just some ideas but I think the variety would be welcome.Second is their take-out service. The phone is often left unanswered which makes ordering food or checking on orders difficult. The restaurant is sometimes closed during hours it should be open. I have ordered food and gone to pick it up only to find locked doors and there is no doorbell or anyway to tell if anyone is there or to alert them that you are outside. Apparently some reform is necessary in this regard.The third and minor complaint is the side salad. It's all lettuce and nothing but lettuce. Perhaps some other vegetables added?Overall a small but quaint restaurant that will leave you feeling full and happy albeit leaving your wallet a little light.”

“I ordered 2 large pizza and I made sure no anchovy but I ended up one with anchovy. I called and complained and they gave me another one plus delivered. I felt bat didn't get to give another tips for the driver since I wasn't the one who opened the door and didn't get to catch him on time. “I live in Columbus, Indiana and I try to eat at the Arby's Seymour, Indiana location once or twice a week. The Classic Roast Beef sandwich and the crinkly fries are outstanding! The roast beef is juicy and tasty. The fries taste great and they always are nice and fresh. The service is incredible by the staff. Patricia does an outstanding job of managing the restaurant by being a role model. I also like the job Kaleb does as shift manager. The both are professional and personable. The men's restroom is always clean and the employees are very friendly. As a sales person, I reward myself with lunch at the Seymour Arby's when I make a lot of sales calls. In other words, it is my incentive for working hard.”

“This is the best subway around hands down, the bread is always fresh and soft along with everything else, I will drive to seymour just to go to this location, every time I've been to the subway in brownstown the bread is so stale and dry that is just crumbles all over myself and my car, it's ridiculous!
