“We stopped here randomly on our way through to Indianapolis. Everything was great, the chicken was tender, they weren’t skimpy on the queso, the salsa bar was awesome, the portions were large and the bean dip great! Service was fast as well!We all agreed that it was the best Mexican we have ever had and wish it was more local to us!”

“Staff was incredibly friendly and helped customers mix and match flavors if they were unfamiliar with boba. They were extremely nice and even let me use their restroom when I (unknowingly) walked in after they had closed about 15 minutes before the total eclipse. This was my first time in Shelbyville and Boba Cafe helped make me feel very welcome!”

“Country Diner is a real gem. Great home cooked food from 6am to 1:30pm. The hand breaded tenderloin sandwich was large and meaty. Daily specials like beef manhattan, beans ham cornbread with fried potatoes, chicken and noodles, and great breakfast choices. Plenty of parking with room for semi's and right off the highway. Typically very busy, we arrived at 12:45 and had excellent service.”

“Saw that this place was on the list as one of the ten best chicken places in Indiana. We decided to road trip here just to find out. It did not disappoint. The chicken is cooked fresh after you order so dont be in a big hurry. Everything came out piping hot and was delicious. The service here was outstanding. This restaurant is very clean and well kept. It is very easy to find using Google Maps. There is plenty of free parking around the building.”

“While waiting on my husband at the poker table, I decided to grab a cup of coffee at this cute little spot in Shelbyville. The tiny little café was so cozy. The service was wonderful! I had an amazing caramel latté along with half of a turkey panini and cottage cheese. Everything was tasty and it was the perfect afternoon snack. The bookshop next door was adorable. I even snagged a book I'd been looking for! I'd come here again!”

“This is the best bar in Shelbyville and the area. Staff did an absolutely fantastic job of providing customized service. The own Eric (that doesn't look like Eric ?) was so friendly and welcoming. I sat there and watched him greet every single customer (and knew the vast majority on a first name basis) that walked in that door. He has some great stories to share and spent time with every cutsomer. Really nice pool tables, darts, claw machine, and they have live music sometimes. Highly recommend you check this place out! You won't be disappointed.”

“I ordered 2 meals, General Tso & chicken broccoli with crab Rangoon. They said it wud take 10-15 minutes. I walked outside to my car, sat there about 12 minutes & went back inside and had to wait another 15 minutes. Only 1 guy was sitting and eating but I think he was an employee. No soy sauce in the basket. Had to wait for an employee to find a box, open it and fill the basket b4 I cud get any for my meal. Almost 25 minutes after placing my order, it was finally done so I cud leave. Food was good when I got home. I wud just like to know how they can prepared the food, bag it and the food stays HOT. ? Enjoyed a good hot meal.”

It is very small, but good food, plus an excellent price point. One of their items on the buffet was Ginger Beef, and for myself, I can honestly say it was in with the best of them!”
