A friend who had been in Shipshewana before urged me to visit here while I was in tow for a conference. I'm so glad I did! I'm taking away one star because it's a little dated and cluttered feeling, but other than that it's a must. Though I didn't try a pretzel, I believe the other reviewers' raves because they looked amazing. So did some of the other treats available behind the counter, from bakery to ice cream concoctions. Best pretzel ever!! As you can see from my numerous postings on YELP, I get around. This is hands down the best pretzel I've ever had. Probably one of the best food items I've had in years. I was not expecting this which is why I was blown away. Not the tradional twisted dark looking pretzel, think Bavarian style, but kind of a like fluffy pillow of heaven.
