“I love the plants and went in to get a latte- which was amazing! After spending a weekend full of fun my youngest said the best part of his trip was the mint from the coffee shop- thanks! That mint kept him entertained all the way back to Indianapolis!”

“I took a couple of friends there yesterday and we all were very happy. One ordered 1/4 chicken, another got the ground sirloin steak with onions and mushrooms. I got the ham. The sides are wonderful, especially the green beans, excellent! My wife was in Texas but I told her that when we get moved back to Bloomington next month, we'll patronize these folks again. The couple and I have been there before, many times and never had a complaint. Their food is always good, no complaints. I enjoy the decor also. We also had a very acomadating waitress, sorry, I forgot her name. We'll be back.”

“I cannot say more good things about our lunch here. I ordered the falafel on naan with roasted veggies (upcharge for the premium side but totally fine because they were just what I wanted). My mom had the brat with coleslaw and we shared an order of sweet potato fries. Everything was beyond fresh tasting and did not remind me of prepackaged junk. The falafel was so fresh. The coleslaw was not creamy and jam packed with an assortment of veggies. Our waiter was wonderful, only his 5thish shift and he had great banter with us. Not what I was expecting for a small town in Indiana but so happy we found this brewery!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and the beer was great too!!!!!!! Thank you so much for a great day!”

“Sometimes, a subway just hits the spot. Ordered a rotisserie chicken sandwich with garlic sause and passed it thru the garden. The staff was friendly, made my sandwich as requested, which was perfect. Ordered 3 cookies, and all 3 were winners.”

“Food was awesome. They accidentally put Mayo on a sandwich immediately without question remade and offered me to keep the old one. Awesome workers great environment the people that come in here yelling at workers you suck, multiple people came in screaming saying I'm never coming here again... “For a McDonalds this was a great stop. The prices were fair with a few specials available as detailed by the cashier.The restaurant was clean and staff were friendly. Even though there was only one register things moved quickly with the help of two self help kiosks.The food was made fresh and served quickly. There was plenty of access to straws & napkins and the drink machine was well maintained including the floor around it. The dining area had several guests but was overall very clean and well maintained. In the bathroom there was plenty of paper in the stalls, soap at the sinks, paper towels, and also a speed dryer.The staff were super. Very friendly, with smiles all around. Overall a great stop for a quick breakfast. If I ever need a quick mean in Spencer IN again, I would definitely consider coming back here.”

“My wife and I went after we spent some time at the cataract falls. The ice cream is very delicious and it is reasonably priced as well! It's a very cool atmosphere and to look around at an old school house is very neat and eye opening. The parking is limited, but definitely worth finding a spot to go in and check it out. I would most likely visit this place again if I'm in the town.”

“Wow, @Benjamin Schneider, could you be more of the stereotypical disgruntled employee? When there are so many other rave reviews for this place, do you think you accomplish anything with your passive aggressiveness? I've worked in this bakery from its very beginning and love it. From the atmosphere to the attitude (except for grumps like Ben) to -most especially- the FOOD. She has grown this place to a Bloomington hotspot. And despite working there, I STILL enjoy eating here on my free time! She is in such demand that we had to extend our brunch hours to the entire weekend and we still sell out every time! Do yourselves a favor and stop by, pick ANY pastry and experience for yourselves why you cannot just "go next door to Baked" to enjoy such delicacies.”

“The best chicken bacon ranch pizza! We had a birthday party last Saturday and they were so sweet and accommodating. And we had 7 kids! Didn’t even ask for refills. She was just right there. All the pizzas were amazing. And the best part of course is the BREADSTICKS ???”

No matter the day, the ladies are busy baking something that smells wonderful. I stop in at least once a month and almost never leave empty-handed. “What a cute little hidden gem in downtown Gosport. Service was spectacular and the interior is super charming. Exactly what you would expect in a small town diner. Food was great and pie was even better. Friendly folks and great food. Can’t go wrong stopping here for lunch or breakfast!”

“This is my husband, and I first day in Portsmouth, after moving here. This was probably the best option to get a taste of Portsmouth. John was our waiter and he was phenomenal. His communication was on point, he knew about everything on the menu, and all of his recommendations we took into consideration, tried the food, and absolutely loved every single dish that you see attached to my photos. The best thing definitely was the lemon tres leches with raspberry drizzle!! Our waiter, he recommended this, and it was to die for, he also recommended the tiki cart, and my husband loved his alcoholic beverage. The bathrooms are clean, this place had tons of people in it, I love the set up, I love the decorations, there's even outdoor seating as well. We will definitely be back to try different items on the menu anyone new to Portsmouth, or haven't tried this restaurant yet, you are missing out, go check it out now!”
