“The server we had was friendly and very attentive to our needs. The food was excellent. Their bacon is the BEST! I liked the onion rings and the BLT that I had for lunch. I will come back.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair ramp at their back door.”
“Talk about hidden gems. You may not notice it every time you drive down Madison towards K-15 but you would not believe this little locally owned home town brewery is tucked neatly away right in the center of the beating heart of Derby. With Madison avenue park across the street and Las Vaquitas and Nature's Gifts within walking distance I can't imagine a better place to be in Derby KS on a summer evening.”
“The food was good and the service was even better. We cam in with what is usually plenty of time for us to eat before closing but between a fussy baby and the abundance of food we ended up staying past closing. The staff was warm and friendly the entire time and never rushed us and was just so great. Would recommend and will be going back to try even more food!”
“Always friendly staff. Food has always been great. The grilled chicken nuggets are the exception, I don't like those, however the grilled chicken on the market salad is delicious.”
“Good food. I enjoyed the history displayed in the pictures on the walls. The service was great and free dessert at the finish. New silverware would be the one thing I would like to see. Some shine is good in an older place. ?”
“The food was delizioso! Fresh and crisp salad, ample servings of entree and piping hot! The atmosphere was a little distracting... restaurant itself was clean and pleasant but a very loud kitchen. Our server was very attentive however too soft spoken. My mother had to ask her to repeat things way too often.”
“Nothing special here. Take was hot. Plentiful serving sizes. House fajitas were good with beef chicken and shrimp, accompanied by plentiful toppings. They do have Tex Mex selections. Salsa was unremarkable..”
“Our family came here and we had a lot of ppl but food was very good, service was good and the company was the best! It was mine and my husband's first time there, but our family members been coming here for a while and I am glad they shared this place with us!”
“I had an omelet and don't remember the name but it had quite a bit of onion on it. The hash browns were golden crisp-excellent. My gravy covered biscuit was good and oh so filling. My slice of take-out cherry pie was terrific!!! Our server was great ? She really pulled my order together like I asked. The atmosphere was comfortable and friendly.”
“The food is amazing and the service is awesome. This is yhe best emperors I have eaten at. The hibachi calamari add scallops and not the little chewy one these were amazing. General chicken was also great spicy but not to spicy.”
“I had a French dip sandwich and it was absolutely delicious! I would have to say it's the best one I've ever had. The meat was seasoned to perfection! I highly recommend!”
“They did not bring what I repeatedly repeatedly asked for,I had to ask for coffee, which was cold, will not go back.Kid-friendliness: Suppose it is o.k. I have never seen children there”
“Just passing through town and stopped to refresh. Shae & Greg & Trevor & Derek did not disappoint! Great handmade, right in front of you, delicious and nutritious pick me up drinks of tons of flavors. We were allowed to sample quite a few before settling on the coffee frozen with Carmel! If you live out that way, or just passing through, stop by and say "hi". I know they'd love to see you!Love you guys! ?”
“I can remember when Freddy's first opened in Whichita. The weird new restaurant with a big ice cream cone on the roof. I thought - what a weird place, I'm not eating there. Many years later my family took us to a location that had opened in another state so I felt obligated to give it a try. From that day on, I have been a huge fan of Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers. At the core of my approval is the quality of the food. Everything tastes great, the burgers, the hot dogs, the fries, and especially the frozen custard. I have never had frozen custard before, and honestly it didn't sound like something that I wanted to try. But it's exceptional. The locations are neat, well staffed, and well managed. I even got a chance to meet Freddy one evening. He was personally handing out tickets for free meals at the Wichita Rock Road location. Freddy's is absolutely a model for how quick service restaurants should be operated. My only complaint; like so many other food providers, they have fallen into the trap of keeping prices high long after supply chain issues have eased. While I realize labor costs have increased and stayed high, the per person value is hard to justify - even for a great product. I hope they can find a way to manage costs and maybe even lower prices. I would like to eat there many times a week, but I feel like for over $10 per meal per person - it's a dinner only treat once a week.”

“The food and drinks were delicious! The service was very good, and the atmosphere was what I expected from a more traditional Mexican food restaurant! I will definitely be back to eat there again!!”
