They sometimes have live music from local performers which provides an exciting atmosphere. My favorite Cuban Bar & Grill perfect for a night out with dinner, drinks, & fun!“

“Paseo is a hidden gem on Baxter Avenue in Louisville's Highlands. You can dine outside overlooking the boutique hotel Myraid's pool or indoors in the airy, spacious restaurant where you can watch the chef preparing dishes or enjoy the California-style ambiance with your party. The spring salad's presentation was picture perfect and the taste delicate. The delicious hummus served with vegetables and flatbread was perfect. The service was just right - efficient without hovering. The only disappointment was a mocktail - refreshingly pink with cut lime but the taste was bland. Look forward to returning.“

“Spinelli’s is one of my favorite places to go for pizza. The overall atmosphere is so cool and the food is amazing. My friend and I got two cheese slices and they were excellent.Vegetarian options: As a vegetarian myself, the cheese pizza was really good“

“More than I was expecting! As you walk in the doors you are greeted by one of the friendly staff. The showroom has everything a Mitchers fan could ask for: shirts, coasters, books, and of course many of their Bourbon selections. It was a 15-20 min wait to get up to the bar. The host was very polite. When it was my time, the elevator opened as she called me and she said “your chariot has arrived” made me smile. As I came off the elevator I was greeted by Georgia and she showed me my seat at the bar. A glass of water and an assortment of snacks was waiting. The snacks were small pretzel balls, dried bananas, and crunchy quicos. The crunchy quicos (corn nuts) are a must try(see sticker).The first drink I ordered was the Falls of the O-H-I-O Fizz. It was delicious! Frothy due to the egg white, with a little touch of sweet, and gentle burn from the bourbon. The second drink I ordered was the Fort Nelson Crusta. The presentation was beautiful. There’s a whole lot of sweet in this one. The sugar brim was the icing on the cake. Georgias service was outstanding, I can’t say enough. Her and her team are experts at their craft. The setting is very warm and down home. I highly recommend this place if you’re single or on a date. Georgia and her staff will make you feel at home. I’ll be back.“

“There are many Indian restaurants in Louisville, and Shalimar IS THE standard. The richness of their food can not compare to anyone else's. The Tikka Masala is the best I have had by far. Shalimar is one of the first Indian restaurants in Louisville, and they still stand proud. Don't pass an opportunity to check them out.“

Attending the first day of Chef Dave’s “re-opening”, the food, cocktails and service were top-shelf as usual. Everyone loved their cocktails. The pork chop was very tasty and perfectly cooked, loved the shrimp and grits… so flavorful! The salmon was also delicious! We had the cheese and hummus plate as a starter and I was not a fan. The hummus was gummy and had an odd flavor. The rest of our group didn’t mind it. I could have had the bruschetta as my meal… yum! For dessert we had the bread pudding and asked to have some bourbon to pour on top (so good!), the lava cake (wow) and the brûlée (coffee flavored and very nice). We were the last to leave and Jessica and the rest of the staff treated us if we had all the time in the world. We so appreciated that! Our experience was so special! Thank you!“
