Alas, the parking predicament is a veritable quagmire of inconvenience. “A great little French bakery right on main st in Stockbridge Massachusetts. The almond croissant and the gluten free chocolate pistachio cupcakes are delicious. Nice place to sit outside. No indoor seating. “Wow!! The best Chicken Pot Pie I have ever had! I live in Stockbridge and grocery stores and other places will stock their bread(the brioche makes amazing French toast) and a few other items they make, but it’s really worth the trip to grab a slice, or a whole take & back pie(pizza or chicken pot). The staff is also super friendly.“

“BEST donuts I've had in the Northeast so far. I've been looking for any donut shop that's not a Dunkin Donuts and it's been difficult to find. I'm from Canada and Tim Hortons is my baseline for a decent donut. Shire donuts are the same texture, extremely fresh and made to order. Absolutely delicious and can't wait to try more flavours!“

The market is fairly good-sized given its relatively remote location, so it's worth a stop for truly fresh, local, seasonal goods if you happen to be driving past.“
