That being said when we picked this up on time the pizza was like warm when we got it. 20 minutes may be a little long on the pickup time for a small. We got the roasted garlic and we weren't big fans of the flavor overall. The ingredients were all great on their own and seemed fresh but the pizza itself was a miss. If I'm in the area again I would give it another try.”

“I've been in search for a great old throw back feel to Brooklyn Irish pubs. The great pubs are usully Irish ones. I found sideline and I must say with in minutes I felt a level of comfort. The owner Colleen was smart and engaging , fun to talk with.The GUINESS was the highlight for my husband it was perfect. There was no food but that didn't matter. The best Irish pubs have no food and offer good conversation and,the customers were filled with good conversation. I love this place. I will return to listen to their music when they have music. First time there but not the last time there. I was beginning to lose hope in finding a good Irish pub.I can't wait until football season to catch a game. They promised us the Steallers !! Mom loved her salad, nothing but compliments.The atmosphere is really nice there, very much an Irish Pub setting. Service was excellent, didn’t have to wait for refills or anything.”

We got take out, so I can only comment on the phone ordering and pick up...both were effective and efficiently executed. The restaurant itself, which I could only see from outside, was very small, just a few tables, and included a deli-like counter which gives it a very casual counter service feel. The decor looks like an Italian deli. The pizza is huge. We are a family of 4 adults, and the owner recommended two pizzas, but it way too much food. One would have been enough for four adults. The pizza was very a medium thickness, a good amount of sauce, perfect of amount of cheese, and cooked crispy.”

“This is really a gem, the kind of old world, exposed brick walls, fabulous food type place I'd expect in Mayfair (London) or Greenwich Village (NYC). When in Pittsfield this is a must see, feel, and taste.”

Scorpion bowl for two is my go-to drink The filet rare is always perfectly rare (I'm always stunned at how few steak places can cook a steak to order - I'm thinking of you Sofia's). The show never disappoints. Kids love it and lots they can eat. This is our go-to birthday spot.”

“stopped here with our family of four while staying locally for the week. we loved how they were knowledgeable with the menu in regards to gluten. all sauces and meats are GF. wings and fries do not contain gluten but they ARE in the fryer with other gluten items. the food took slightly longer but it was absolutely amazing. worth the wait for fresh, home cooking. it was the early part of a Saturday night and by the time we left, the line was very long. worth the wait for everyone, i'm sure! between all four of us, we had a little bit of everything.... 1/2 chicken, pulled pork, St Louis ribs, chicken tenders. wings (some mild buffalo and some with honey maple. the honey maple was unique and amazing), sides: fresh cut fries, corn bread, potato salad, coleslaw, peach baked beans. everything was delicious. we were starving (hence the amount of food we ordered!) we came in from a day of hiking and this was perfect. the people are super nice. met Old Man Jeff's wife. she was nice and was not bothered by all the questions we had. thanks for a great meal and for.being a wonderful family owned restaurant!”

Last time as we were standing there for almost 10 minutes while we were ignored. But when the phone rang that was picked up right away and that order was placed.”

“I highly recommend Ben & Jerry's catering service. We booked them for a graduation party this weekend and I can honestly say it was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. I communicated with Kate, and she was incredibly accommodating, patient with all of my questions and super, super responsive. The owner manned the sundae bar and he was funny, courteous and a pleasure to interact with. If you have ever considered having Ben & Jerry's cater your event, don't hesitate! “Cims is like my Cheers. Yes, when I go there a lot of people do know my name. But I can go by myself and strike up a conversation with anyone from anywhere and have fun. It is really nice to get to know people from the area, as well as out of town who have never experienced the Berkshires. I highly recommend all of their food, but some of my favorites are the Brandy wings bone in or boneless, I think they call them Cims Wings. The lobster roll is delicious as are the fried scallops and the Fried chicken basket. It is usually on the special board. It is a very sweet better and totally delicious. I have never in 15 years been disappointed with any food I get from there. They also have a great beverage selection as well as many TVs to watch a variety of sporting events including the weather channel”

“Today was my first time eating food from LuLu’s. I can say that the Turkey Hoagie - Lettuce, tomato, onion, pickled cukes, pickled onions with spicy Mayo- was quite literally the best sandwich I’ve ever had. I will be having these much more regularly!”

“Having grown up in the pizza belt of CT, I have been struggling to find delicious pizza in the Berkshires, especially the thicker Greek style crust pizza. This is the closest I found. The pizza wasn’t overly greasy, the toppings were perfectly proportioned, and the flavor was good. Even my kids ate up every bite. We’ll have to get two larges next time. My piece of feedback is I wish the pieces were cut into triangles not squares. This won’t stop us from going again!Kid-friendliness: My kids ate more pizza than usual. They loved every bite.”

“When we entered, there was about a 10 minute wait. We were seated as soon as possible. The owner was very visible throughout the restaurant and made sure that everybody knew that it wouldn’t be long. He was very involved in making sure everyone was taken care of. When we were seated, Jenny was our server and she got our drink order and returned promptly with them. Jimmy had a captain and coke and he said it was good. I stick with my usual— Diet Coke on the rocks— lol — Jenny brought our bread out and took our order. We got the scallops as an appetizer and we each ordered the same thing, it was the Highland Trio which consisted of a generous piece of chicken Parm, with an amazing/perfect amount of sauce, a humongous sausage link and an equally huge meatball — which anyone could tell was homemade (even my mom would have raved about it and she was picky). It came with a very generous portion of pasta and sauce as well as a salad. Everything was delicious. I ended up having leftovers (Not sure how anyone could possibly finish all of the food we got) but Jenny helped me pack up. We are not big dessert and coffee people but the desserts did look delicious in the dessert case. Perfect timing on everything. The Highland is truly a hidden gem in the city of Pittsfield and I would highly recommend it to anyone that lives here or is visiting. You will not be disappointed.”

I travel to many states and always try their açaí bowl offerings. Only one in. Colorado came close, but The Spot is still number 1!! Can’t wait until they open Bear Butter in Great Barrington.”

“My wife and I drove two hours from Cooperstown and had the best dinner in memory, starting with plump delicious oysters and two main courses, scallops piccata and the dinner special of lobster and scallops pasta. Our waiter was Milton and he couldn't have been better. Dessert was pineapple flambe, ice cream and chocolate sauce served in a pineapple shell, accompanied by excellent coffee. And on Wednesday nighst, live music is provided by singer/guitarist Melissa Brinton at just the right sound level, with violin and penny whistle added by Eileen Markland. We'll definitely come again!”

Next time you have a hankering for fried chicken skip the grocery stores, skip the road trip to the Bennington KFC. Head over to Krispy Krunch on East St. You won’t be disappointed.”

“A neighbourhood standard. This place has a long history - generally full of families and locals who know the menu inside and out. The big story here is small 'Hungarian' style hot dogs served with cold beer. While not as spicy as the ones you would find at a place like Tony Packo's Cafe in Toledo Ohio - these are honest and served with pride. We generally eat at the bar - often mid day on a weekday or weekend. There is a lot of television / MA lottery activities above the bar - understandable for those who love sports - but I always find it very distracting and unnecessary. This is no calm oasis. Also, given its age and construction, the place is a bit stuffy but there is an outside patio option (also more functional, less natural in its setting). Pittsfield has a distinguished history as a working town, and this place is so much better than your typical fast food options. Also proximity to gas and u haul (for antiquing, or road tripping) can't be beat. True relaxation and Shaker history / culture is just a few more miles West on 20 (W Housatonic Street) and Highway 41 West from here is one of the most lovely Berkshire byways.Parking: Unmarked parallel parking. Generally adequate signage is a bit confusing, but the rear door is mostly the 'main' entrance.Kid-friendliness: Super, super family friendly, tolerant of messes and plenty of sturdy high chairs. Hot dogs, beer (for non kids) and milk are often seen on tables together.Wheelchair accessibility: All on one level; entrance from rear parking lot.”

But this past time we went we had asked to have the appetizer sent with our meal because we have 4 kiddos and they had meals without them so my husband and I did not want to eat in front of them on top of that we waited an hour and a half for food while others there after us got there's now I would under if it was a salad but it was literally a full meal.
