Not only was she generous with my portions, but she served everything with the warmest smile and the most genuine kindness. “Been a vegetarian since the mid seventies and we use to have to travel to Philly, New York and DC to find a high level of Vegan cuisine. Kai has brought an exceptionally superior Vegan cuisine to our area and even with the Baltimore metro area’s rise in Vegan restaurants Dodah’s Kitchen is clearly one of the best, and absolutely should be the restaurant on everyone’s “bucket” list. Meet Kai, talk with her and one will soon realize that Dodah’s is a literal extension, an aspect of her being. She is meticulous and one of the best definitions: (taking, showing, or involving great care and effort) Synonyms for meticulous: careful, conscientious, fussy, loving, painstaking, scrupulous, and to me, this reminds me of Mama in the kitchen !! and with that, we don’t even have to talk about the food.“

“I’m a southern girl— moved to Baltimore last year for school. Nothing has made me feel more at home than the food here. Absolutely delicious!! My dad and I both got the catfish bites (mine hot honey glazed, his honey Old Bay) with greens and mac and cheese. Catfish was crispy and well-seasoned. Greens were soft and full of flavor. Mac and cheese was baked with plenty of broiled cheese bits. Fruit Punch tasted homemade and absolutely scrumptious. If you are craving real-tasting homegrown SOULFUL soul food, do not miss this place!! “To start, the food was delicious. I order catfish, make and Green Day’s ago while visiting Baltimore and just remembered to leave this place a review because not only was the food great but the customer service was as well. Staff was very attentive and professional. The owner let me order a dinner plate at 10am (there’s nowhere else I could’ve gotten that) and I love dinner for breakfast sometimes. Place is definitely 10/10 I’ll probably get another platter from them today.“

“Every time I order, the team members, no matter who is there, are always polite. I usually order the same thing so I’m pretty satisfied with my order. If I veer off to something else, I usually like it. if I don’t, I just don’t order it again. Customer service is always A1 though.“

“Finally had enough food from here to give it a review. Usually get the fried chicken, which is always on point. Tastes like a grandmother made it with love, and is always consistently good. Have had the fish and that’s good, and they give you a lot for the money. Decided to try the turkey wings yesterday and that’s what made me finally decide to write a review. They were seasoned and tender and had the southern homemade taste I was looking for. All in all, I have to say that Mr Bobby’s is where it’s at.“
