“I wanted to like Spanish Diner since I'm a huge fan of Jaleo and of Jose Andres, but the food was so lacking in finesse and taste, even for a diner. Patatas bravas was drowning in tomato sauce (I could barely taste the potato or aoli) and the bacalao over eggplant and tomato sauce had little flavor. The ham and cheese was tasty, but nothing to say "Spain" about it...mediocre food accompanied by a hefty price tag will keep me from going back. I'm so sad that Jose Andres missed the mark on this one, unfortunately.“

When I asked the take out person about a particular item, I was told in a condescending tone that “this is a Mexican restaurant - as if I didn’t know (y tengo raices Latinos). Many restaurants carry - or are able to make - basic things that necessarily wouldn’t be on their menu for kids.We were told to expect 25-30 minute wait. It ended up being 1 hour. No offer to get us water - though they supplied it when asked.The manager was kind and made up for lacking service. She refunded the 1 missing dish (it wasn’t in take out bag) and comped another dish we’d ordered to make up for it.Bottom line: Go! Food is worth it! But plan for potentially long waits; order everything at once; & go early.“

“I have been to Rooted3 now 3 times and have had a great salad every time. They have several tasty dressings and their various different flavor falafel croquettes are great. The service is excellent and the salads have been reasonably priced. I get the "make my own" salad there and they have a lot of ingredients to choose from.“

“A friend highly recommended ZAO Stamina in Bethesda, and since it's so close to Rockville I had to check it out . Their branding and social media is definitely on point, plus they offer some unique weekend specialty ramen as well ! Zao prides itself with their handmade inhouse ramen noodles, skinny and curly varieties, and their authentic broths with modern spins. For the appetizers /drinks we got: Tori Kara-Age Mini Chashu Don Umeshu Japanese Plum Wine For the ramen we got: Gekikara Tonkotsu Old School Shoyu Mazesoba The Tori Kara-Age was some nice tender bites, and the chashu don rice bowl was savory and sweet ! The Gekikara Tonkotsu was the SECOND most spiciest ramen on the menu, and it was pretty intense , tasty broth but it had a BOLD spicy KICK . The Ramen broth in general is more on the oilier side, which if that's your preferred style, then it works well! My Old School Shoyu was tasty, but I think the broth could've had a bit more flavor/saltiness to it. Besides the basic toppings listed in the description, you can add extra toppings from their menu for additional costs, but this can make your ramen end up being pretty pricey. Definitely want to come back and check out their weekend specials, as well as their skinny ramen noodles.“

“Yummy froyo place in Bethesda Row. Smaller array of flavors but they are all so delicious! Also includes vegan froyo options like sorbet. Good topping choices with a clean hygienic self serve area. What I like? - Chicken tortilla soup which is quite flavorful though a tad salty - Crispy signature fish tacos with black beans and rice: a generous portion, perfectly crispy, fresh ingredients, nice and balanced. The hot sauce on the side is excellent and packs a good punch. What I'll skip: - blackened fish tacos: lacking in flavor - rice bowl which I had with the signature crispy fish: the combo of vegetables isn't right. It shouldn't have raw carrot cubes and lots of raw bell peppers and corn. There's also too much mayo. I'll go tacos next time. Excellent and quick and helpful and efficient service. It's also a fine fast casual space. I appreciate that there are plates and utensils and takeout containers out to speed up the dining experience.“

“House of Milae is a great location in Bethesda for authentic Korean cuisine! Parking is easy, as there's a garage right across the street, and the restaurant has a good amount of seating. The Korean side dishes (Banchan) they provide are numerous and tasty, my favorites are the standard cabbage kimchi and the fish cakes. I got the Kimchi Fried Rice with pork, and it was really flavorful! Spicy, sweet, and savory from the gochujang paste, mellowed out with the runny egg yolk and nicely stir fried rice, it's a great combination of flavors, and really tastes like a nice home-made Korean Kimchi fried rice! Prices are a bit on the higher side, but I suppose that is just Bethesda prices. My friend did feel a bit sick from the food she ate afterwards, but I felt fine. Overall I do enjoy the food here and would come back again for more Korean fare.“

I had the Ollie's meat trio flatbread (Pepperoni, Calabrese, Toscano, fresh mozzarella, sweet basil)for a snack and then I devoured the Black Bass(local carrot trio, heirloom fingerling potato, French beans, citrus veloute)for dinner. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and very organized. Best experience ever. Best pre birthday dining festivities. So glad I was in the area and stopped by. I love, love, love, love this place. The bathrooms are no hand entry(wave hand in front of sensor, door gradually opens)and very clean. Apparently the transition from lunch to dinner, the lights are dimmed.“

“My wife and I went to Hanaro during lunch time, but it was only for takeout. There were some crumbs on the floor and some dust by the waiting area, but the store was fairly clean. The price of the sushi is reasonable and the taste and flavor of the sushi is of the highest quality. I am giving this restaurant a four-star rating because the taste of the sushi was truly exceptional and of the highest quality. Despite some minor cleanliness issues, the reasonable price and outstanding flavor make Hanaro a great choice for sushi lovers.“
