“It's been probably over 2 years since we'd been here, not sure why, we always enjoyed the food! So my wife and I went again last night and loved it!! We started with the Curry Puffs. Never had em before, but dang they're good!!!! I had the Pad Normai. Terrific dish, a little spicy, lots of flavor! Wife had the Lad Na, not too bad. A little light on flavor compared to the Normai, but a nice light garlic gravy on the noodles. Iced teas tasted great, service prompt, priced right. Go try some Thai!“

“Best Sushi in the two counties. Had a variety of sushi and the salmon was like a small slab, THICK and the best I've had yet outside of Japan. Scallops (sushi) were perfect and delicious. Their Sushi is cut in thick slices.. and amazing (get the dynamite roll)“

“This is always a fun place to eat. Highly suggest making reservations i you don't want to sit outside because it is cozy inside. We have found that if there are a lot of people at the bar it can be very loud and hard to hear your guest/s. There desserts are delicious!“

“This place gave us similar vibes to a place we would find in Spain. Large variety of alcohol, large selection of food items, and staff who genuinely enjoy their job and being there to help you enjoy your visit. We plan on making this our go to spot WEEKLY and plan to bring any one who visits here.“

“Let's get straight to it. This spot is too 5 in DMV and #1 in Southern Maryland, hands down feet up for there "Catfish Nuggets" This is my go to weekly for my Fried-Fish Fridays, of course when I get the approval of the Mrs. There's been times where we indulge twice a day. He's very friendly and welcoming to his customers on a consistent basis. His food is nice and fresh, golden brown crispy and seasoned well with "old faithful" Old bay and hot sauce. Simply delicious.. Oh please forgive me, I can feel the some looks though the app. The servings side/portions are much more than the picture indicates. It was me, I admit I was too excited for the experience I was prepared to receive that took the picture after my hands and face was greasy! Don''t worry it's worth your money and time.. Check it out!“

“My husband and I recently visited Bugeye Grill, located in Solomons Island, MD on Valentine's Day! He made dinner reservations a week in advance . . . And he really outdid himself Upon arrival, we were escorted to the second level of the restaurant and to a private dining area, where it was dimly lit for a romantic atmosphere, and guests were entertained by a gentleman in the corner named Jonah playing on a piano ?Our server, a young woman named Leah, was very nice; the food and beverages were excellent; and the entertainment was exquisite ?It was truly a beautiful and perfect and magical evening!!! And my husband and I wish to thank everyone at Bugeye Grill who played a part in making our Valentine's Day a wonderful one ❤️Whether you're a local or just visiting the Solomons Island area, and looking for a taste of the best of what the Chesapeake Bay has to offer . . . I highly recommend dining at Bugeye Grill ?Parking: You're best bet, if not too crowded, is to park somewhere along the boardwalk across the street from the restaurant! That way you can also enjoy a leisurely walk before or after enjoying your meal ?“

“Solid selection! Date night was a hit...reservations recommended/required on a Friday night. We truly enjoyed the blackened Snapper, SOMD egg-rolls, and fried oysters. Beth was very attentive in taking care of us. Great crowd (hence the reservations) kept the place lively and entertaining. Worth the drive to experience this classic SOMD bar & grill. Enjoy! OBTW....don't overlook the adjacent grocery for THE BEST stuffed ham and chicken salad!“

“A great under the radar waterfront crab house in Mechanicsville that offers traditional seafood options. This local hideaway offers hard crabs, seafood baskets, and pizzas in a small town setting. Drift Inn is a nice place to enjoy a casual meal with family and friends.“

“My husband took our boys here for brunch they all enjoyed themselves. He brought me home a crab pretzel and some cream of crab soup. The crab pretzel I would never order again, it's very heavy and tastes like they added way to much I want to say cream cheese. It just doesn't taste good. I love crab pretzels but this was not it at all. I'll try my soup and hopefully it's good but we'll see. Great atmosphere though my kids stuffed their faces apparently and enjoyed themselves.“

“One of the best dinners we have had in a long time! We got our meals to-go. Ordered the crab cake dinner that came with sun-dried tomato risotto and asparagus. Everything was cooked perfectly! The crab cake is AWESOME!!! Hands down, the best crab cake we’ve eaten. We had side chopped salads that came with this delicious blue cheese dressing and a side order of cheddar mashed potatoes that were also divine. The entire dinner was perfect!“

“I had to come on here and write a review. This isn’t just the best Thai around. This is the best restaurant in southern Maryland. I’ve been coming here multiple times a week and I’ve never been disappointed. Everything is good. Today I got the soup and it was perfect for a cold winter day. The chicken is fantastic! The crispy pork is to die for. I love this place. The owner and his wife are the nicest people in the world and make you feel so welcome. A really hard working couple and an amazing atmosphere. I’ll continue to be a regular!“

“This place is just amazing. I went for my first, but definitely not the last, visit to this restaurant today for lunch with my daughter. The Spring Roll appetizer was excellent, and the Duck Sauce for dipping tasted freshly made. I had Eggplant Basil, my daughter had the Mango Curry. Both were wonderful. The service was great too. Be sure to give this place a try if you're in Solomons. Well worth it.“
“Intentionally and with enthusiasm; give this marina a visit.I'll be forward. Don't expect a full service arrival off season. This is a marina of modest and humble means. A true relic of maritime community and origin. Sitting just off the mouth of the Potomac a few miles up the river, you can find a wonderful little marina and the Reluctant Navigator Restaurant where the regulars gather to enjoy a Sunday morning breakfast.Serious sailors and casual boaters alike should find this little nook of Herring Creek to be a safe haven from inclimate weather and teeming with help and hospitality. Be mindful of the tides if you have a draft over 3 or 4 feet. The channel can be shallow.Hot coffee and a nicely thought-out breakfast bar are sure to suit most, and perhaps even delight those with a hankering for some homestyle food. You know, the kind of plate you add your biscuits, cornbeef and hash, bacon, and sausage and then smother it in gravy. It's sure to satisfy those empty stomach hunger pains and warm you to the core.Having trouble finding the place, call them up, and perhaps you will get a hold of Rick or another one of his crew that can help you navigate your way into the creek.Don't forget to fill up at the fuel dock on the way out. You will also want to grab some swag to commemorate the visit, so check out the supply of hats, t-shirts, and long-sleeved boating shirts.Look them up online or give them a call to find out all they offer.“

“Excellent location with good service, food, and drinks. Great crab cakes and delicious fish tacos. Unfortunately the old fashioned was served with the same ice as an iced tea or water, rather than the expected single large ICE cube. The location was beautiful, right on the harbor with a great view.“
“I was invited to the club as a guest for an eighty's disco dance party with name that tune for prizes and great DJ. I was made to feel like one of the regulars from the moment I walked in. Drinks were two dollars and the food was free. You have to join of course. It is a private club. I had so much fun I think I will.“
“The food gets an A. The service and the atmosphere get a 20 on the 10 scale. If we were local this would be our new Sunday morning spot. The homestylecooking, friendly amazing service, like everyone is family when you walk in. Perfect perfect perfect. Thank you so much to making the last stop of our weekend trip such a memorable one!“
“I adore Thai food and Sawatdee doesn't disappoint. On 6/29 we ordered Carryout - everything from Pad Thai, traditional Noodle Soup with chicken w/spice level 4; and another beef & veggies dish. The food was excellent and was cooked to perfection. I knew I'd return to try other dishes. Today, I dined-in and had the fried egg rolls (filled with carrot, taro root, bean noodle a d pork) with a Thai dipping sauce. They were crispy deliciousness. In fact I had to force myself to stop at 3. Entree#1 was the Thom Yum Noodle Soup (tomato based soup, with rice noodles, bean sprouts, cilantro, peanuts & chicken). This soup would be amazing with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I don't generally order red/tomato based soups, and when I saw it almost didn't try it. Glad I did as it was light and packed with flavor. It'll make a great pairing for lunch tomorrow with my peanut butter sandwich. Entree #2 was the Sawatdee Dried Noodles with beef (rice noodles, bean sprouts, Thai basil, Chinese broccoli, topped with ground peanuts). This dish was extremely flavorful, packed with chicken, a little on the sweet side and you could definitely taste the basil and broccoli in every bite. I got both entrees with level 3 spice. This added a little heat without being spicy. Keep in mind the spice levels here go from 1 to 10. While level 3 isn't spicy, level 4 has you feeling the heat so ... be forewarned. They have a well stocked bar but sadly no one knew how to mix any of the drinks so if you want beer or wine, you're in good shape. Otherwise prepare to drink water or soda as they don't offer hot tea or Thai tea. I've enjoyed the food here twice now, both for Carryout and dine-in. Customer service here is solid and the servers extremely personable. They're updating their menus so no prices are visible which may be off-putting for some but their price point is very reasonable. Entrees $13-14 & $8-10 for the apps. Quantity is substantial and quality is excellent.“

“My husband and I come here every Thursday for our day date. We love Mexican food and the location is very convenient. The place is so efficient, the food is great, and the staff is friendly. The portions are a good size as well. I always order the lunch fajita and my husband gets the carnitas and we always have enough leftover for a future dinner.“
“Quick, fast, sincere service. It's located near Weis, connected to a Sunoco gas station and a barber shop. They take credit / debit with a $10 or more purchase only. I never have cash, so I had to add to my order. Also no tables to sit at, none at all.Parking: Sunoco, Chinese food, and a barber shop share the parking.“

“I was little thrilled to ask with the price of raw oyster since it was market price on the menu, but the waiter told us it was $12 for dozen and it was very delicious. Waiter was super friendly and nice. Nice view of restaurant. I usually go to Solomon Island to go eat seafood, but now I have a different choice. The half size of Seafood steamer was $50 and it was enough size for two. The reason why of one star minus was some of shellfish was a little over steamed. It was taste ok, but felt too dry. There was only one waiter during the lunch time, so maybe because of that, it took longer each process after receiving first drink and foods. If you’re in a hurry, I honestly don’t recommend. However, overall experience was very good. I’ll definitely go back again,“

“Great place overlooking the water. No tourist trap here - this is the real deal. only complaint is that my crabs were served about 20 minutes after everyone else's entrees. but despite that, I would definitely recommend.Kid-friendliness: great kids menu“

“Small spot located in San Souci. There's only a few tables, so it may be best for takeout. When we arrived they told us a table was reserved so it seems you can call to reserve a table. They do not take online reservations. It doesn't look like much, but the food is excellent and the portions are very large. I ordered a snow crab and shrimp combo, combined all three seasonings and opted for medium seasoning but could've gone for the hot. I wasn't sure how spicy the seasoning would be which is why I opted for medium. We also added a side of hush puppies which were very good. The food came out very quickly, less than ten minutes after ordering. My only complaint was they only had plastic silverware which made it extremely difficult to eat the snow crab claws.“
