“I took the route of depending on the reviews to sway me to try this establishment. I’m glad I did! As the reviews said, the grabs were juicy and flavorful. Wait time was about normal for crabs being 20-30 mins, especially when they are super busy and have orders back to back.The young lady at the front taking and giving out orders was very nice. She has a strenuous job and she does it with ease. I’ve been looking for a crab place in my area since I moved here about 7 months ago and I’m glad I came across this gem. I will surely be ordering from them again.I did have to go in and place my order because the phone gave a busy tone each time I tried to call. I meant to ask and make sure I had the right number, but I will do that next time. Since the wait time wasn’t long it wasn’t a big issue.”

“Best pizza in town. The buffalo wings need work, ordered two separate times and have been under cooker or rubbery. May need a new wing distributor because their wings use to be really really good. Wings may be frozen precooked wings or something ”

“This was a good stop for a cool treat. They only take cash like a lot of small places. A lot of awesome flavors to choose from. I got a cherry creamsicle which is cherry snowball with vanilla ice cream layered in. My friend got egg custard with marshmallow topping. They did a good job, I just wish they had some shade to stand under in line!”

“I will never eat there again. The waitress pretty much forgot about us and had us sitting there watching everyone else get their food. After 45 minutes not food. I probably would have gotten over it- but when I called the manager over to the table he didn’t even APOLOGIZE. Just asked who the waitress was and had her bring the check. Like really?! Not again…”

Fast, punctually, friendly attentive service, blended menu to choose from, the food is amazing & just a great all around family owned business! My go to every time I Visit Baltimore. “Our family of six enjoyed a delicious and beautifully prepared dinner at Cafe Campli recently. Every dish was intentional and on-point - created and presented with a lot of love, care, and attention to detail - and, looking appetizing and ready-to-eat rather than over-stylized. The flavors impressed! In every meal, the ingredients were fresh and high quality, and the flavors superb. The house-made pastas and sauces were exceptional - creatively prepared and perfectly approachable. I particularly enjoyed the chickpea fritters appetizer; but the burrata was equally impressive. The accompaniments to the meal - roasted carrots, broccolini, and salads - were at the peak of freshness and flavor - served at absolutely the right temperature and doneness and dressed masterfully to accentuate the quality of the vegetables. And, the desserts! I will be back! My affogato was served exactly as it should be - a rich, aromatic double espresso poured over a generous serving of salted caramel gelato in a clear glass cup. The aromas and tastes of both the espresso and gelato, as well as the integrity of the scoops of gelato, "held" until the very last sip of this very special dessert drink. One of the best, if not the best, espressos I have enjoyed at a restaurant. The other desserts were just as remarkable. Serving the cannoli on an extra "little pillow" of cannoli cream was absolutely the right touch - luxurious and special. The limoncello cake and the bomboloni were equally impressive. Our server made us feel immediately at home and took very good care of us throughout the meal. Thank you, thank you! I loved the laid back vibe and intimacy of the cafe, which allowed for an amazing dining experience without fussiness and unnecessary fanfare. Some truly lovely wines, cocktails, mocktails, beers, and 0-proof creations, as well. Thank you, Cafe Campli, for putting people first and preparing all your dishes with such love! A+++. 100%. “My date and I checked out this lounge and their drinks were tasty.We first had the Fue Mejor and Jungle Bird for the first round. The tall Jungle Bird wasn't bad while the Fue Mejor had that sweet and smoky taste.The second batch we tried was the French Martini and the Midouri Sour. These batch of drinks were our favorite. The French Martini had an elegant finish on top of their drink while the Midouri Sour was a great sweet and sour combination.Definitely check out this intimate lounge and make sure to have a reservation before going. Definitely worth to check out.”

“Just discovered a gem nearby. I ate at Kandahar on 36th Street. It is owned by the previous general manager of The Helmand. What a delight. Most reasonable prices and the food was excellent. The last few times I went to the downtown location it wasn't as good, I now know why. If you haven't been there, I promise, you won't be disappointed. 5 stars”

“I was treated to a birthday dinner this past weekend at Rooted Rotisserie and I must say everything about this establishment was 20/10!!!!! The ambiance was beautiful. I love the familial atmosphere and the beautiful photos of the owners’ families. The music was wonderful and brought me back to my childhood- with the old school Ghanaian music. Now… THE FOOD. BEYOND Delicious and I have been raving about it nonstop. The flavors were perfect and the presentation, beautiful. For appetizers, we started off with the wings and shrimp plates. I had the Salmon for dinner and loved it. My table also had the braised short rib, duck confit, Mac and cheese, and braised greens. Everything was perfect and paired perfectly with our sorrel/lemonade carafe.This has, by far, become one of my favorite restaurants in the DMV and I will be looking for any and every reason to go back over and over again.
