“This place is always packed, so we stopped in to try it. The burgers are absolutely amazing! I would go so far to say it was the best burger I've ever had. If I'm not wearing some of my sandwich, then it wasn't good, and these were dripping. I believe it was two quarter pound patties, so it was a big burger. The restaurant is clean, and the service was excellent. My only complaint is the high top tables have very small seats that we kept sliding off. We moved to a regular table with bigger chairs and the problem was solved. The prices are reasonable and the portions large. I'm looking forward to going back.Parking: Limited street parking“

“Finally stopped at the Alaska Stand for the first time last week. Very glad we did. My wife said the funnel cake was the best she's ever had, my double cheeseburger was the juiciest, tastiest burger I've eaten in a long time, maybe ever, and the fries were perfect. I understand why they were voted Best Boardwalk Stand 2023. I look forward to eating here again on future trips to OCMD. Thanks very much! Well done!“

“Honestly. In my experience, if you get a crab cake at most restaurants in OC, they are quite often mediocre ( there are exceptions). I find if you want a terrific, all lump, fresh, properly seasoned crab cake, there are two carry outs, Uptown eats on the north end and Captain's Galley on the south end that have excellent crab cakes. We live nearby and get food from Captain's Galley regularly. Excellent crab cakes. They also have delicious homemade (I assume) potato chips (think Thrashers), excellent Cole Slaw and their Mac and cheese is out of this world! Highly recommended!“

“If you haven't tried the crab dip your missing out on a great appetizer. The chips that are with it are also very good. Today the steamed shrimp was awesome. Easy to eat flavor point on and amazing. Good job Shrimp boys.“

“We are out-of-towners and chose this restaurant because it was across the street from our hotel and we could order takeout online. We placed our order and shortly after the manager or owner called apologizing that they were out of an item we ordered online. (They were extremely busy and couldn't turn off online ordering). He offered me to order whatever I wanted to make things right, I asked for an app and desert. He even offered a drink on the house. When my husband picked up the food he said everyone there was so nice. Our food was incredible, the breading on the fried food was delicious and crispy, the salad was fresh, and the mozzarella sticks were gigantic and so good. We will definitely return to this restaurant the next time we are back in Ocean City!“

“Visiting from Baltimore for a few days and stopped in on a Monday night a little after 10. I was surprised (in a good way) that there was a decent sized crowd because it’s offseason, but it was karaoke night so I’m assuming most of the crowd were regulars (also a good sign). The vibe was great, the food was really good, and the bartenders were fantastic. I’m a bartender as well and I usually don’t say anything about it when I go out because I’m not trying to get special treatment, but I’ve been in the industry for almost 11 years now so I do know good service when I see/experience it. Mackenzie, Collin, and “Reba” as they called him were all amazing. They moved with speed and efficiency which isn’t always easy in a bar that size, and they also did it while laughing and engaging with customers. I was seriously impressed, I didn’t see anyone waiting long or complaining about anything either. I’m by myself on this trip so I was hoping I would find a cool little spot to hangout at and I found that at Pickles. I would definitely recommend!As for the food, I got the mozzarella sticks and they were delicious. Was a little disappointed that there were only 3 but they’re a good size so it’s like the equivalent of 6 short ones. I also ordered wings because they were half-priced on Monday and they were really good as well. Perfect size and cooked well“

“My drinking friends and I found this place last summer after we left the bearded clam. We wanted some food and looked at their menu and went in side to try. They were so amazing there and personal. We had delicious orange crushes, and appetizers. Everything we had was wonderful crab dip, Everything crabcakes are good burgers, a good everything. The bartender was excellent and informative about the business. They ended up, giving us a bunch of bumper stickers and sent us on our way, and I definitely will be coming back.!!!“

“Nice place. Food was average and a bit pricey but it's OC so kinda expected that. My only real issue was the manager, she had a real bad attitude especially with the band playing in such a tight space. Nice crowd very friendly bartender. Personally I won't go back just because of the manager who was there on 9/16. Left a real bad impression on me“

“An off season weeknight at a restaurant with new ownership turned out to be great. The food was delicious. The owner and wait staff were attentive. We had perfect shrimp and chicken quesadillas. We could watch multiple college and big league games. It was a great night.“

“I had an amazing time at this restaurant. The food was amazing and didn’t take long to get the table after order somewhere around 10-15 minutes. I ordered the Hungry Monkey and did a small upcharge (I believe it was around $1) to change the pancakes to Cinnamonkey. The server was quick and attentive and made sure we didn’t need and more refills. The atmosphere was a little on the noisy side (you hear the murmurs from other conversations). Overall worth the go!“

“We had an outstanding experience at The Reel Inn! We’ve been coming here for years, but this year the food has been absolutely outstanding! Such a difference! We’ve been coming back more often, because the service is outstanding, the food is great and the atmosphere is awesome! I’ve been getting the crabcake with shrimp and it is now my go to. The potatoes are done perfectly and seasoned just right. The squash and zucchini medley is perfect as well! The breadstick was so soft and done just right. Will definitely be back as this is one of our favorite restaurants in Ocean City, Maryland. This place is getting busier and busier so I would definitely call ahead for seating.“

“I wanted to commend the staff on the service tonight. Took my family here and even though they seemed a bit short staffed they all were working to get food out as quickly as possible. Unfortunately there was an issue with one of the items that we ordered which I had to point out. The young lady at the front and what I'm thinking was the manager on duty at the grill quickly replaced the entire order to make things right. They turned what could have been a negative review into a positive experience.“

This place is spacious with ample TV screens for watching seasonal sports etc and the signature surfing is on the main screen above the bar. Looking forward to a second visit in the near future.Parking: Not enough parking for size of restaurant but there is an overflow lot next door so look for that and you should be fine.“

“Last night we had a fun time and great casual meal here. Three of us had smash burgers and one person had a chicken sandwich. Our toddler grandson also enjoyed his samples of our food!Everything was delicious. The burgers were some of the best we’ve had, kettle chips were scrumptious. Mixed drinks a little light on the liquor but all in all satisfying.Service was excellent and we didn’t have to wait a long time for our meals.The downstairs patio was welcoming and sheltered us from the wind on the Boardwalk.Would definitely return again.“
