“Love this place! Very cozy bar/restaurant and a great find in the off season. They've got dollar bills pinned to the walls - and they offer magic markers and thumbtacks for anyone who chooses to leave their mark. The beers are delicious and the food was great. We loved the potatoe skins with cheddar, bacon and other good things. The fish and chips were were excellent and the chicken tenders satisfied our younger diner. My husband noticed someone having the bangers and mash at a nearby table and wants to go back before we leave Maine. The wait staff and people in the bar were warm and friendly. Highly recommend.“

“This place is amazing, excellent craft coctails that are another level above other southern Maine bars - Trillium on tap, and incredible small plates like bluefin tartare on crispy wontons and street corn dip! Can't visit York County without stopping at this spot.“

“We visited last month for a drag show and a few nights later the movie "Jaws" The theater has so much history in it. Neither time did we eat. We had a drink at the drag show. Been here many times in the past years. It is a favorite place to visit. Highly recommend visiting at least once when you are in Ogunquit. A true piece of history!“

“My wife purchased ice cream cones here several times during our stay in Ogunquit. She had the milky way flavor each time because she loved it so much on her first visit. I have a gluten allergy, so I could not try this flavor, but their mint chip was pretty good when I finally had ice cream, too. They have a large binder with allergy information, which provides some piece of mind. The service staff was younger kids on summer jobs and they were friendly and helpful. I would recommend it to other visitors.“

“My kids and i went on mothers day. Probably the last to be sat on an already very busy day. We were seated outside, at a clean table in almost no time. We were given the most wonderful service and your team took the best care of us. Our food and drinks were perfect. Best Breakfast I think i have ever enjoyed! The kids agreed. “I was very happy with my experience at The Beach Basket Cafe! First of all, their store is absolutely adorable, and it feels like you’re stepping right into grandmas beach house for lunch. I got the Turkey and Cranberry grilled cheese, and the Italian sub! Both were delicious! The employees were very friendly, and service was quick. I will definitely be back the next time we are in Maine!“

“This is a hidden gem and I’m so grateful to have found it. I got the Monstah Lobstah roll and it certainly lived up to its name. It was so big that I was able to bring half home to eat at a later time. We will definitely be back and hopefully Caitlin will be our waitress again… a super nice young lady. “This place is pretty hidden in the dark - the driveway is pretty long but they have great parking. Rumor has it they have a disk golf course. Dog friendly and child friendly. Beer selection is pretty wide. They do have a $3 cover charge. They seem to have love music pretty often - the band the fossils were playing when I was there. Very warm even in the winter, which was pleasantly surprising.“

Because of this it was a little rowdy, but a nice time overall.Parking: There are parking spaces right in front of the resteraunt, but it is also in a shopping center so you can always park near the grocery store and walk over if you really needed to.“

“We love! dog friendly Batson River Brewing! They also have an outposts in Portland and Wells but this spot was perfect after a beach day in Kennebunk! Staff was great! Family friendly and doggo friendly with food and craft cocktails for everyone. We will be back!“

“Wonderful place of locals. Service could not have been better. Without even asking the waitress knew to bring individual bills to the table. The haddock Rueben is excellent, the fries crispy and seasoned well. The whole belly clams rate amongst the best around.“

“We have not had the opportunity to dine here since before the pandemic. Finally had the chance and it did not disappoint. Pizza, dessert, Italian sub....all great! It's just how we remember it. Very nice staff. Clean establishment. There are stairs to get to it so if you can't climb stairs, this may not be the place for you. Doesn't stop you from having someone pick up takeout, though! The sauce on the pizza is unique. I really like it and I'm not a big fan of any pizza!“

“Within walking distance of the Holiday Inn express this was an easy choice. Very bohemian Mainey interior with pleasant wait staff. Tried a couple of free beer samplers and went with an excellent NE IPA for $8 which is pretty standard cost. It was a Friday and Fish n Chips was a $20 special, my wife had it and it was excellent. The fries were basic thin cut but the fish itself was fluffy and not greasy. I went with the lobster bisque that reminded me of chops grill (Royal Caribbean) at $15 it was a smallish serving but very tasty. Followed that up with Lobster Mac n cheese for $32 that came with a couple of claws and some lumps throughout. Seemed like home made pasta shells and was just the right amount to eat every bit of it. Served in a piping hot skillet it hit the spot. My kids had a Mac n cheese and a cheese pizza which they seemed to enjoy. 2 adults and 2 kids was $125 before tip. Food was good quality, beer was tasty and service with a smile. Overall pretty good if a bit pricey“

“So we happen upon this pizza place, which was just great. It was two for one pizza night tonight so we ended up getting two huge, thin crust pizzas. The first was a stuffed potato pizza. It had mashed potatoes, chunks of bacon, a white creamer sauce, drizzled, and it was really really good. The melt of tastes were great. We sat in the bar area, and we could see the guys making pizza in the wood burning pizza oven. That was really cool. The second pizza we got, was the not so traditional margarita, pizza. Very thin crust, fresh, tomato slices, and buffalo mozzarella. Lots of basil also. Something about the roasted tomato slices were just really really tasty though I don't usually like that. Lastly, I didn't get the name of our waiter, he was a very nice guy with curly dark hair. Seemto be the only wait staff in the whole restaurant other than the bartender. But he did great. He was juggling many tables at once and didn't stop for a second , but we thought he was great.“
