“I discovered this amazing candy maker while on vacation this fall. They have the most delicious candies I have ever had in my life. So many unique things and I plan to do mail order until I can get there in person again. Highly recommended if you are in the area and ask for samples. Be sure to meet the gigantic chocolate moose. They also have lots of gifts and things for your home.“

“This gelato place was excellent! They let you get as many flavors as you want in any size. I went with two flavors in a small, but the combinations are endless! The gelato was rich, creamy, and delicious. Plus, the service was lovely. Highly recommend!“

“Delicious ice cream and shakes, there's really not much more to say about this cute little ice cream shop. There was a line in front of us when we arrived but service was really quick and we had our ice cream within five minutes. Super cute, would come back!“

“Yassss! Now that it's spring, they have ube soft serve ice cream I got a small in a cup which was perfect.I've had their ube latte a few times too. That is awesome as well. I love that they are not too sweet.I walked over two miles to lessen the guilt for my ice cream consumption, lol.Le'Cha is ?“

Listed on National Historic sites , has so much candy and treats packed into a little store Tasty ice cream all surrounded by old fashioned ice cream counter and glass counter filled with the old style candy in cups once penny candy still is very reasonably priced Add this to many old artifacts and plates on the wall for atmosphere Your in for a treat here. “We pulled up to Sammy's in Portland and it was closed due to their power being out from a storm that rolled through a few hours earlier. Sammy had a generator in his truck out front running power through the window to keep the ice cream frozen. We told him we were visiting from CT and had heard they had the best ice cream. Sammy asks us what flavors we wanted and went inside and got them for us. What an incredibly nice and generous thing to do. THANK YOU! Not to mention the ice cream was AMAZING! When in Portland, we will be loyal customers, and any friends heading to Portland, look Sammy's up, its worth the trip.“

“I went here last night to the biggest and best blueberry ice cream ever ! This is homemade and loaded with fresh blueberries, ok did I mention fresh and yummy! The service was top notch friendly! Hello they were so friendly and smiles all around. I really recommend trying this place to make yourself happy!“
“Beautiful and busy... just the way it should be!I thought that the line was surprisingly quick in its progression. Usually when I walk into a place and see half a dozen children pointing to a menu above their heads while surrendering to their overwhelming ADD... I turn around and come back later. In this case, I hardly made up my mind before the Coastal Creamery staff worked through each child's order. The smell of fresh baked cookies was hard to walk away from as well.My only knock on this ice cream shop is that for my personal preference the ice cream's texture was a little to "icey" and not enough "creamy". But the flavors were prevalent throughout and I think if you're looking for a good ice cream pitstop while on Commercial Street in Portland, your search needs to begin and end with Coastal Creamery!!“

“People are pleasant and clean atmosphere. I gave 4 stars because I love homemade verses soft serve, but still a good quick treat! A few great options, but size is small for the amount of cost. Of course, I always love the ice cream cakes! Which if you had an app can gain points towards!“

“Dolce Crema is the place to be for breakfast or even a later night snack since they are open until 10pm. The coffee is amazing and every breakfast sandwich hit the spot. Dont forget to have a muffin or scone then sit on the pier and enjoy. We did this every morning and it made our trip!“

“This I would say is the best place to get an ice cream on the old orchard Boardwalk because they always have the quickest service and they have a wide selection of cone sizes you can get small medium large x large too they sell good types of candy's as well with there selections on ice cream and treats“
“This ice cream is unreal and one of the best I’ve had. I tried the fennel and lemon flavor and it was incredibly complex (fine dining level). The balance between sweet and salty was so point and addicting. I really couldn’t stop eating! I really wish Dear Dairy supplies in Boston, so I can try their other creative flavors.“
