Placed an order tonight for a couple of drinks and asked for 2 large cups of ice because this location does not sell it - yes I would have purchased the chewy ice. Got to the window and was presented with the drinks and 2 small cups half full of ice. I repeated my original request and was told that the manager told the drink maker to swap out for small half full cups of ice. I then heard the food runner being given crap for going back and getting me what I asked for. I GET THAT YOU ARE A NEW LOCATION AND PROBABLY DON'T HAVE AN ACTUAL COMMITMENT TO THE BRAND STANDARDS THAT THE REST OF US ARE USED TO WITH ESTABLISHED CHICK FIL A CHAINS EVERYWHERE ELSE IN THE US, BUT SERIOUSLY? 1. YOU ARE A POOR LEADER FOR GIVING THE RUNNER A HARD TIME ABOUT HER EFFORTS TO MAKE A PAYING CUSTOMER HAPPY 2. YOU DON'T WANT TO GIVE ICE AWAY, START SELLING IT 3. ASK FOR A MENTOR IN THE COMPANY AND INSIST ON SOME OJT AT A LOCATION THAT KNOWS HOW TO REP THE COMPANY 4. BRAND STANDARDS - LEARN TO LOVE THEM AND THEN LIVE THEM
