Fry bread tacos are amazing on Tuesdays (big as you head), fried chicken on Wednesdays is the best in the entire coulee region, and the beer battered fish and shrimp on Fridays is awesome. Get the beer battered shrimp; they’re huge! Everything is made fresh to order. Love Barb the owner too. Worth the drive.”

“Easily, the BEST PIZZA we have EVER had! Ordered the hot honey pepperoni and it was delicious. The hot honey was so naturally sweet with a hint of heat to balance it out, perfectly adding to the pizza. The fresh ricotta dollops and parmesan on top was also a nice touch. The dough was amazing, it's a 3 day ferment, and the workers told us that it a made from a combo of 4 types of flour (all from distributor(s) in Italy). The workers were very fast and friendly! Would come to La Crosse for this pizza and this pizza not! Don't need any other reason. IT IS THAT GOOD. The homemade ranch was also good.

Parking: Street parking available in limited quantities during the day, very busy area. Not sure about parking lots of ramps as we are not from the area.

Wheelchair accessibility: It's wheelchair accessible, right off the street. Not bumps or stairs, large enough space to maneuver in wheelchair.”

“Ok, if you're a fan of buffets and/or if you liked Ponderosa (if you're old enough to remember it!) Then you'll love this place!
Yes it's a little pricey, but we'll worth it.
It's all you can eat, decent selection and the food is good!
We were warmly greeted. We paid before we ate, we were seated quickly and we had a wonderful server. She kept our drinks filled while taking care of a bunch of other tables.
The buffet has an area where you can order from a selection of options like steak or burger (plus other options) and a few sides.
Then there's a garden salad area, lots of options.
The hot bar had all sorts of options which I'm not sure if they rotate or are always the same.
I really liked that for some things they had sauces on the side so you could control how much you wanted (for example they had orange chicken. It was sorta like having chicken nuggets for the kids, but you could put sauce on it, plus they had fried rice).
The desserts was a selection of pie, cheesecake and i think cake slices, brownies, bread pudding, apple crumble and a freezer with ice cream cups.
It's not the biggest buffet we've been to be we really enjoyed it!

“We stopped on for dinner a few nights ago while in town. We were sat in the lounge and had a fabulous dinner. There was an older gentleman walking around asking how the meal was. He stopped and talked to my daughter and he was so kind! He even asked if he could get her a dessert which just made her night. “We love Diggers. Best in La Crosse. But a recent trip let us down. The classic bread crack to locals was gone. Fayzes provided it and they closed. Today People’s Food Coop brought Fayzes bakery back. Hoping the wonderful bread is restored!”

“Java Vino was hoppin today. Despite being so busy the service was stellar and the food was epic. I got the curried chicken salad sandwich today and it was out of this world. I highly recommend Java Vino. Even if they quote a wait time, it’s worth the wait.”
