“I'm a first timer to Cassandra's, and I am very particular about the food I eat, and the preparers of said food. I saw they were in my area, I figured why not give them a try. I ordered a Tripe Sandwich with fries. After the first bite I walked around looking for somebody to slap, it was so good. The menu had plenty of options so Im sure Ill be back.Two thumbs up from me????“

“The customer service is poor. The young adults working always appear distracted having side conversations, cellphone use etc, therefore don't acknowledge the customers that enter, yet I have CONTINUED to support this business. Please do better.“

“I’ve gone to King of Soul for breakfast and absolutely love it! Today I decided to try dinner! We’ll I was a little disappointed. While their customers service is on point, the price is right and the food is delicious, today not so much on the taste. The mac & cheese was a bit salty, the yams were not freshly made and while the bake chicken was good there was no pan drippings at all. None for the chicken and none for the yams. So my dinner was a bit salty and dry. On top of that, right as they were bagging my food, I was told, “I’m sorry, we don’t have any cornbread. It will be 30 minutes. They are just putting it in the oven.” Whaaaa!? no cornbread, and I ordered collards. My humble suggestion would be, if you you open at noon, and folks are coming at noon, as I did, your cornbread maybe should be one of the first things you cook. Listen, everyone is off their game at some point and time. It happens to the best of us. I will patronize King of Soul again for dinner and hopeful I will be experiencing some good, finger licking “soul food.”“

“It's a new off and running establishment. I feel the owner is working very had to make it a success. A few hiccups but, the food and customer service is always excellent.Each time I visit, I'm pleased with what I've purchased. You're on the right track owner.“

“I came here on Sunday when they have Sunday Soul food since it’s half AAA Fish House 2. I got the Catfish Fillet, Mac & Cheese, and dressing, it was delicious! It reminded me of my grandma’s food and my Uncle’s catfish at family reunions. The staff was pleasant and the music was great. Some kids got to have some slushees from the bar and I tried the mango and watermelon ones“

“Went to Cathy’s kitchen this last Friday and it was amazing! My family is from Louisiana and sometimes I just crave the food. Let me tell you the Cajun seafood pasta met that craving and then some. Our food was delivered by the cutest little robot and everyone there was just as nice. The gentleman at the counter made sure to offer some delicious dessert. The cake was moist and perfect the next time me and my partner are back in St.Louis we will be stopping by!!“
