“What a treat for our family. This place was recommended to us for the great food and service. The place is small but the food and service is tremendous! The owner was gracious and the server Felicia was fantastic. This feels like a small, family owned gem. The Italian vinaigrette is not to be missed.“
“Coming from Syracuse, NY, the bars I'm used to have a very different vibe, and price point. You want a hipster bar with leather couches, pay to play pool tables, a cigar lounge, snobby bartenders who only look at the young pretty people, and drinks that cost 2-3 times what they should? Don't go here. You want a chill place with a laid back, beach atmosphere, drinks that cost what they should, friendly locals, and an incredible bartender? You found your place.Third one I've been to on Atlantic Beach, and if I can get out again before my vacation ends, I'll be going back here.“
“Two years now we have enjoyed the growler for our annual beach trips. The eclectic and unique selections are perfect for a large group looking to make everyone happy with their own tastes and desires. Highly recommended. And the staff are great and personable as well.“

“Very nice dinner experience! We had reservations and our waitress, Shashel was great! Appetizers were calamari and their delicious bread. Husband had the lamb chops feature, I had fish/snapper tacos with delicious rice. Others in our party had steak, salad. Great time!“
“We took out kids here on a rainy day and had a fun time. Lots of video games, shuffle board and fooseball. All reasonably priced, to keep them occupied for a while while my husband and I could relax. I got a flight, my favorite was the White Chocolate Blonde Stout. Definitely recommend!“
“Whether you’re looking for a crazy way to spend a Saturday night or need something to do on a Tuesday afternoon, there doesn't seem to be a "bad time" to go to the Tacklebox and you never know what you'll find when you get there. Drinks are the cheapest in town - the kind you feel "the bartender made a mistake" cheap. If you're in luck, Karen or Brandon will behind the bar, happy to support all your wrong choices in life - most of them anyway! Staff is excellent, this bar is second-to-none on people-watching and whether you are a local or a visitor, you'll love this small beach bar that we all just seem to keep going back to. Keep up the great work!Parking: 100Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp“

“I had dinner with a group a people and I enjoyed the Mahi Mahi tacos. I will also note that the fries and onion strings are delicious as well. I rate the food 4/5 stars because while the food was good, the portions for the price don’t match up. I recommend you try the food though just be prepared to pay about 15 to 20$’s a person.“

“Came to town for a day trip. We were looking for an ocean front restaurant and we found the perfect one! I got the Blackened Mahi Sandwich with onion rings (onion rings were a recommendation by our waitress). It was absolutely amazing. Whenever we are back in town we will be back!Parking: The parking right in front is very limited maybe 10 spaces. There is paid parking right next to the restaurant for the beach.“

“Are you looking for a fusion of Biergarten + Dive bar? Well this is the best spot for that this side of the Mississippi. Awesome people in an awesome bar. Everyone we so welcoming, we had a big group and just jumped right in! I can tell a place like this really gets going with the right people. Oooo I almost forgot. Free soup Fridays at 5!“
“Excellent beers. Great service and I like the atmosphere. Relaxed and seems to have a steady presence of locals. I am from MN. This is the second time I've been to this establishment, once 3 years ago and then this year (2024). Definitely will stop in again when I get back in town.“

“Dude! They don't play any reindeer games!!! Perfect crust, not skipping on the toppings... Literally ate one slice (hubby scarfed down the other 2) and I was like... "I have to tell the world"Best pizza in town, and trust me, we've tried them all! Service was prompt too! Ordered for pick up, told them a time (I had to run errands) walked in the door and saw them cutting and boxing it!Hot and delicious!Thank you! Great local spot!!!“
“Omg I can't say enough about this place it's so welcoming! The beers are crazy good and some I've never even tried! It's small and get this an old what I call factory whistle goes off at around 5ish it's crazy but if you go in ask and they'll explain it to you! The feeing you get it so back in the days of good neighbors and local friends/family. Popcorn machine which is delicious popcorn and craft beer umm yeah! It's small inside but there's also seating outside as well. I love this place! If you are driving through I highly recommend a stop !“

“The Beaufort Grocery is my favorite restaurant in Beaufort, NC. I visit Beaufort for work and always eat at this wonderful restaurant. I also bring back to Tampa the Gouda cheese spread. I start with the cheese spread and see what specials they have. Last time I stuck with the Pan-Seared Duck Breast but you can't go wrong with anything they serve. They have a tiny bar but will make you anything you want. Service is fantastic! Wish I could visit for brunch!“

“It's a favorite spot of mine. Food is really good. Service is even better. Most importantly, their price-to-portion ratio is perfect. Very reasonable prices for waterfront eating, and they don't jip you on quality & quantity. These are the makings for sustained success.Oh, lastly, they constantly have live music. They're tough to beat yall. Go check em out ?“
“Ice cream, it's hard to believe that banana pudding, egg nog and honey can be made into delicious ice cream flavors, but they can be! We had a wonderful dinner at Queen Anne's Revenge next door and walked over, the lovely lady working, let us try some flavors before deciding. Even though it was cold outside the ice cream was worth it!“
“Great little brewery!!! Decent variety of beers to try. We found this place on a flyer @ our hotel. Looked online & wanted to try the thin ice beer (tasted a lot like Girl Scouts thin mints). It was good but the stout o gold was the best!!! We have lived in Germany for years and since moving back to the U.S. and have found nothing comparable to a German dunkel until we tasted the stout o gold. Lots of good vibes here. Loved that this is a veteran owned establishment & dog friendly. I thought the prices were very reasonable. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a great place to try a variety of different beers and a good time with your partner or friends. Also, if looking for a good comparable German/Belgium beer then this is the place to go!“

“Ordered the 4. cheese pizza, macaroni and cheese pimento cheese dip and vanilla crème brûlée for 2. The appetizer was delicious, the pita bread was seasoned and the dip was outstanding. Pizza was so good, crunchy crust, wood oven, the dessert was perfect. Worth every penny!“

“Not a bad place to grab something quick but I wasn’t super impressed. Don’t bother telling them how to cook your eggs. They’ll just cook however they want. Lol. Overall the food was pretty decent, but I don’t necessarily think I’ll come back.“

“Eating at the Yellowfin Pub gives a very outdoorsy, almost tropical vibe to fun food dining. Being a 61- year customer of the Yellowfin's next door mother ship, the Sanitary, I sometimes pass it by because of tradition. But you should not. There's outstanding food offerings, lively, friendly service and eye joy waterfront scenery. Although I do not like high top tables, they are comfortable .Enjoy!“

“Red at the bar was OUTSTANDING! Very fast, knowledgeable and super friendly. Got her work done in a timely manner but always found time for friendly conversation. I will come back just because of her welcoming personality as this was my first time here! Strongly recommend.“

“I arrived early for a work related holiday event and wanted to check out the restaurant that was added above the bar. I loved the views as the sun was setting. I only had a glass of wine, so I cannot comment on the menu, only the event food.“

“Always one of my favorite places to eat while in Beaufort. The brunch was so delicious as usual. Do not miss out on the charcuterie board!!! I make sure to get one each time I go. We also had the honor of seeing the wild horses on the deck while dining.“

“What a great experience we had. First and foremost is the gorgeous view of the water. You feel like you're in a boat because you're so close. Dining and watching the ducks diving was awesome. We arrived at around 5pm on a Friday in March without a reservation and we were lucky enough to get a window table. I'm not sure if that's always the case, so call ahead if the view is important to you. I think this would be a great place to go on a date. The menu is fairly small. However, my husband and I both easily found a couple of options we were happy with. I had the ahi tuna tacos and he had the jerk chicken and wedge salad. When I tell you everything was delicious, I mean amazing. Every single aspect of each dish was spot on and well thought out. Our server, Gypsy, was lovely too. Just the right amount of friendly and very professional. We would like to return to Beaufort just to dine here again and have the same meal!We ordered the strawberry bread pudding to share and it was so very delicious. It was so big that we couldn't quite finish it unfortunately. The bread pudding has fresh tasting strawberries throughout, a strawberry frosting (cream cheese perhaps?), plus whipped cream. So good. The location is right at the beginning of Front Street at number 300, so it's easy to find. I don't usually gush so much over a restaurant, but when it's so good, plus reasonably priced as this one is, I like to spread the joy.“

“We were a bit hesitant when we saw the limited lunch menu available on the covered porch as we were there at 2. But I would go back today and order the exact same thing! The Jamaican wings had the best flavor and were crispy. Their ranch and blue cheese was thick and on point and must be homemade. The grilled pimento cheese w bacon was so rich and creamy on delicious nutty bread. For my side I had the cucumber salad which had onions and peppers in a vinaigrette and was perfect to cut the richness of the pimento cheese. It was such a good combination! I did not get a picture of the shrimp tacos my friend had but she said they were delicious too.“

“My family and I took a chance at this newly re-opening of Captain Bills now called Southern Salt, we found the atmosphere to be very good, and the Seafood was also fresh and hot. Not sure why but I wanted a little surf and turf, and everyone says you do not go to a Seafood Restaurant and order a steak, but I did. :( I ordered grilled shrimp very fresh and served hot and not over cooked, however presentation was in a cafeteria like bowl, not what you would expect for the price of the meal. The steak had a metallic taste maybe a little underaged or meat tenderizer? But cooked just the way I ordered it.Enough about the steak, the Calamari is good, not the best I ever had served hot I would order it again, but the Ahi Tuna was the best I have had anywhere. If you like Blue Cheese dressing, you need to try Southern Salt waitress said they make it fresh it was great.I eat out often and at this price for a meal a little communication goes a long way. Server was excellent I tipped her 20%, but when seated we should have been verbally told that the Credit Card will carry a 3% fee, but I was not aware until the bill came back otherwise, I would have paid with Cash. As I was walking out, I saw a weirdly placed sign kind of close to the bar that indicated the fee.So, what would I change, use linen like napkins instead of those cheap ones used to wrap the silverware, your customers deserve it when dropping $200 bucks for three folks to eat. A roll of paper towels on the table, again “Tacky”…Get rid of the Tawdry and chipped dinnerware, our appetizer plate was chipped and my wife's plate also chipped... "" Consistent uniforms, chef jackets for Culinary and minimum of an nice apron for the folks that delivery the food and matching pants or shorts. "Seat Yourself" not for $200.00 dollars."All in All" will I go back, "Yes" but I will order seafood, and pay with Cash!“

“I stopped in on business and got some fish bites while I was there. By far some of the best seafood I have had in the area. It tasted fresh and was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My plate came out hot and fresh. The service was fantastic. They have a nice backyard style seating area with plenty of shade for those hot summer days.“
