“We have had take away from this restaurant twice. It is our new favorite curry place. We have loved everything we ordered both times. Very fresh, flavorful and good portion sizes. We had tandoori mixed grill, butter chicken, Somosa chaat, aloo gobi, naans, raita and mango chutney. We have tried so many Indian restaurants in the area, this one is our new favorite. Their food, portions and prices are the best. The ginger lemon tea is a bonus!“

“Update April 19, 2024: My husband and I went to Himalayan Grill and Bar again today and we did get the free buffet as promised to make up for the overcharge last time. The food was amazing as always and the employees are super friendly every time we visit. We will be back because the food is just that good!!April 12, 2024 My husband and I love this place, food is always great and staff is super friendly. But today when my husband went to pay, they charged him for 3 buffets instead of 2 on his credit card and told him they didn't know how to fix it. Said that his next buffet would be free and that he'd remember him (since we do go there often). If they do remember and give us a free buffet next time, I'll update this review and give 5 stars for Service.“

“If you want really authentic Indian food, and not "Americanized" Indian food, come here. They have many different types of Indian cuisine, and it's all very good. I got their house special goat, and ask for "spicy". The meat was cooked perfectly and the sauce had a nice curry flavor with a good amount of heat. Not burning my mouth off like Chinese food, but still pretty hot. I got the butter naan and my parents got the garlic naan, and both were very good. My mother had Chicken Korma in the past and liked it, so I recommended it. She liked it a lot. My father got boneless chicken kebabs, which I tried some of, which were cooked well and still tender. The naan here is more like a soft flat bread like you would expect, not like hard cake i've seen at other Indian restaurants, which I liked. The service was good even though the place was pretty busy and the food came out pretty quickly.“

“This place is authentically delicious nothing too good to be true. My stomach feels happy and content after eating the chats , the sweets are perfectly subtle not overly sweet, just really great quality ; and I love the subtle differences :) I’ve been all over North India. And yes I understand the difference but these treats are uniquley delicious. This chef and desert maker man has been there for over 20 years and the owner is co owner Keeping the business float for all of them to continue. God bless these small businesses and Craig, the owner , and his amazing chef that he always gives credit too. Thanks for making things that are digestible with real ingredients and no bad fats much obliged from my digestive track. Thanks you for all that you do !“

“I was here at Vaishno Bhog a couple of years ago and simply loved their food.This month I had planned a stay at a remote cabin near the Outer Banks and thought it better to pick up some delicious food and head over there rather than spend my time cooking.Turns out it was a fantastic decision. A couple of weeks before the trip I spoke w Muskan and explained my picky food habits, including my Jain preferences. She diligently took down the order and requested me to check in a couple of days before my trip. I gave her my arrival time and when I swung by to pick up the order they were putting their finishing touches.The food was deliciously out of the world. Besides their delectable fare, what I really liked about this experience was the patient communication, attention to detail, and fantastic customer service.Thank you!“
