“It’s a little college burger joint. Mostly WCU students around during the school year, but it’s got really good food. I’ve had burgers, chicken tenders, fries, pizza, and milkshakes (and more) in the different times I’ve eaten here. All so delicious.”

“We rented our Innovation Cullowhee to host welcome drinks for our wedding. Booking everything was super easy and the Innovation crew were incredible in getting details and setting up things. This is an awesome location with lots of games, great drinks, and super helpful staff. I'd also say don't sleep on the homemade ginger beer!”

“I went there to do some homework, its a great atmosphere no yelling just people lightly enjoying themselves playing 8 ball pool or having discussions. There was a prayer board which was interesting, I guess it may be more of a community than just a coffee place.”

“I am not a coffee drinker, but Java City Cafe, located conveniently in the Hunter Library, has non-coffee options. I’d never been here before, so I was not aware that they did not have liquid sweetener and you had to add your own with the packets. I ordered the medium Watermelon Cucumber Mint Refresher, and it was not sweet enough for me. I ended up adding a few packets of sugar. The drink itself had good flavor. The people working were super nice as well. I definitely would come back here, it’s worth the walk.”

“Awesome full service Starbucks. Very friendly and helpful employees, the drinks are top tier. You can use your daily exchange meal for any grande drink, which is a great option.”

“This location can be hit or miss with the level of service that you get, but it is a busy location on campus and stressful for the workers. I have not had any major issues eating here, I’ve come here twice and was able to order my food and get it with no problems within 5 minutes of ordering it. There is a nice inside seating area, and there’s outdoor seating as well. The mac and cheese is really good, I get it every time I’m able to.”

“Great service ,great food ,and I absolutely love the management and staff there. They really go out of the way to make you feel welcomed and taking care of. Especially the manager they have named Christianne. All in all I give it a 10 out of 10 and two thumbs ”

“It varies from time to time. It's main plus is that it usually can handle all the students and you don't have horrible line (most of the time). The seating and over all look of the place is pretty nice.”

“You can't beat this place. They catered my wedding back in 2016. This place has fresh food and great flavors. Try their homewrecker burrito or bowl. People who work there are so friendly. “I used the Subway app to order online and pick up in the store. I got the Italian BMT with the Italian Herbs and Cheese bread and provolone cheese, along with lettuce, cucumber, oil, and vinegar as my toppings and condiments. I sadly forgot to get it toasted. The sandwiches were ready within minutes of me placing my order. I walked in, picked up my sandwiches, and said thank you to the people that were working. They were very nice. I would definitely come back and get more food from here, it was a pleasant and quick experience.”

“Update: okay so I'm updating my review as there are none after mine that aren't more than 4 years old. The food is great, the waitstaff are great! They are sometimes short but they still give the best service possible. The restaurant itself is very clean and they're always playing music. This is the place to go on WCUs campus if you just want a casual sit-down place to eat with your friends!”

“We ate dinner there on a Monday, 9/25/23 while on our 50th anniversary vacation. We chose the outdoor seating. My wife got the vegetarian tacos with a side of sweet potato tots. I got the fried shrimp tacos with a chef’s side of maple balsamic glazed Brussels sprouts. The food was fantastic and a big thanks to our server, Eliza C., who was super! We highly recommend Foragers”

“Sweetest coffee shop. The owners and staff are friendly and welcoming. They know customers my name and set up the space to be inviting. We love the games they bring out for customers and puzzle on the counter. Plus the food and drinks are yummy! Grateful to have this little gem in our town!”

“Great place. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Food is delicious. I got the pastrami on rye with grilled onions. It was fantastic. I could only eat half. Warmed up the other half for dinner that night and it filled me up. If you are in Sylvania you should really give it a try. You won't be disappointed.”

“This place is the destination after you've reached your destination. Famished, after a long mountain hike, pop on in for an ice cold brew and a breakfast lunch and dinner burger! It's 3 meals in one and I didn't even get the fries. I got the John burger, which was collosal, burger patty topped with brisket, cheese, and onion rings! It's everything you want on a sandwich and then some more goodness! My wife got the steak quesadilla which was amazing and pretty sure made with homemade tortillas. We also got chips and guacamole. The chips were those really good fried chips and the guac was fresh and made with love! We got a side of Mac and cheese skillet for the kids topped with bacon. Everything was spot on deliciousness and I'd highly recommend it all. Wish I would've gotten a hat to rep! Great job! Keep up the great work!Kid-friendliness: A very chill place, with out door seating, plenty of TV's, and a fire place inside and fire pit outside.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible, plenty of maneuverability, spacious.”

“The best Thai restaurant I’ve ever dined at. They don’t have you traditional Thai dishes like pad Thai or pad se ew. Their speciality is Thai food from northern Thailand where their head chef, Chef KANLAYA “GUN” is from.Everything we had was delicious beyond compare. The presentation was beautiful for all the dishes. Each dish was well balanced and seasoned to perfection.All the staff were friendly, kind, and professional. I really could not have asked for more. I have not been this excited and impressed in such a long time. I hope to return soon with more friends.”

“Best fudge i have ever had. My favorite is the cherry amaretto. The workers are always friendly and willing to let you sample each flavor until you are able to choose what you would like. it is $9 for a half a pound and it's a LOT of fudge. you can pick 4 flavors to make that up. the inside is very comfortable and homey. there is also a coffee shop inside which i haven't tried, but sounds really good.”

“We had a wonderful time hosting a wedding rehearsal dinner for our son and his bride at Happs Place. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the menu options perfect for the event. The service was efficient, polite, and on-time. We also had an afternoon lunch in the back where there is a putting green and other activities outside the bar. Dereck and his team are real pros. This place is a treasure and highly recommended.”

“This is the real deal seafood. It's fresh, it's tasty, and it's well prepared. There's a seafood market which was there before the restaurant. We were told that the market's been active for 13 years so that's a really good sign . Restaurants been going for a couple of years and we're glad it's close to us. Been looking forward to going to this place since we found out about it. It is set back from the main road going through Sylva past the intersection and right past Zaxby's. We enjoyed everything that we had. Can't recommend it enough. The waitress was very nice, Service was quick, the food was freshly prepared, it was my birthday and they gave us a nice little treat. Met the owner and thanked him for a great meal, he was really nice. We also brought home food for other people in the household and they loved it as well. Will be coming back pour some Cajun food next week. Can't recommend this place enough.”

“my close friend owns this stand with his wife and let me tell you this is some of THE BEST Mexican food in slidell. I had a chorizo quesadilla and a chicken burrito today and they were both 100% perfection. no grease, no chinsey amounts, the burrito was fat and full and the quesadilla was full and sealed perfect so nothing fell out. if you want the best then this is where you need to go”

Service is better here than the other innovation location but it may of just been the time of day we came.They have a big selection, cool vibes with darts and do half pours!!”

“My wife and I were in town as part of our 50th anniversary vacation and had dinner on Sunday 9/24/23. I had the 10 oz sirloin with loaded baked potato and green beans. My wife had the spinach with the raspberry vinaigrette dressing. The food was awesome and the service was great! We highly recommend Boots if you’re passing through southwestern NC.”

“Their beers were just okay, everyone in our group thought the lager and blonde tasted the exact same. However, the scenery was gorgeous since it's right on the river so that made it worth it. A plus is they're dog friendly with dog bowls!”
