“I had a great experience, I ordered steak and eggs and it was delicious. My server was Kaylee and she was very nice and on top of things even while slammed. I will request her section next time. I really like the teamwork. There wasn't one person that walked by my table that didn't look to see if I needed anything. Great experience and will be back.“

“This is a phenomenal restaurant but I think what is missed in reviews so many times is five stars for the manager, Jeremy. Every time I go I watch this guy flow through the room greeting everyone and putting out small fires with such ease and grace. I would say Origins is Jeremy. No, I'm not related or a friend just an appreciative happy customer.“
“The seafood shack is next to the seafood market, where the fresh fish is sourced. And there’s fish delivered to the dock off the market. The clam chowder (really good) is white but not too thick. And you can order local fish (broiled is our preferred) in your choice of taco, sandwich, bowl or platter. The platter comes with rice and beans, which are good but I’d rather save room for the seafood. Our son is vegetarian and they made a veggie bowl (rice, beans, slaw, avocado) for him. Wish they have some seating. We ate in the car but the food made up for it.“

“Excellent service. Was in a hurry with only a short break from work. Isabella helped me with the menu and what to order for a quick turnaround time. I was in and out in record time and had a great meal. Looking forward to bringing the whole family here when I can.BTW, I tried the place next door first but the person told me they had no idea how long it would take and that they could not guarantee anything. I left and went to Tidewater.Too bad the first place didn't have Isabella. She was THE reason I tried Tidewater.“

“One of the best restaurants I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating at. I had the pork chop and sweet potato. The pork chop was cooked perfectly and creatively spiced, sauced, and accompanied such that it reminded me of a Sunday BBQ picnic in the park while still being sophisticated and delicious.“

“Heard a lot about this place and decided to check it out. We had a Great meal tonight and sat in a booth - Which we prefer because it’s more quiet and sometimes I have a hard time hearing. We had the Fisherman’s Pasta and Fried Oysters dinner. For my pasta dish I told them to hold the red pepper flakes and add more Garlic. YUM!! Both our dishes came out steaming HOT and delicious - and at the same time! Nice big pieces of oysters, scallops, shrimp, mussels and Catch of the Day was Mahi Mahi. They also had Trout and Salmon Catch of the Day. Waitress - Asia - was superb - I even had to get a T-Shirt! We will definitely be back. Great place for Seafood!!“

“I had my first experience at Ruth's Kitchen at the behest of a long time friend, and they did NOTHING but confirm the compliments of my friend ??! To the extent and extreme that should I find myself remotely close to Ruth's Kitchen in my City-wide places of employ, I would MOST LIKELY have them on my itinerary of Restaurants to patronize when I am TOO tired to go home and cook or even warm up what I have cooked for myself! The Staff I had was exceptionally affable and engaging, and that made for a successful consumption and digestion of a VERY TASTY and FILLING meal! Without ANY DOUBT in my MIND or BELLY, I WILL be dining in or carrying out a meal once again and SOON ??!“

“I had the BEST salad here yesterday. They have premade salads but you can also customize your salads. It was so good l called to let them know. This is a unique place where you can purchase unique wines, salsas, BBQ rubs and sauces, chocolate and premade dinners. Love this place! Highly recommend. I probably be getting my salads here daily.!“

“I have eaten there before and the experience is always exceptional. Friday night and a full house (yeah)! No other Mexican restaurant like this in Wilmington. I had family with me from Raleigh and they are foodies so I picked El Mariscal for something they might not have been to in Raleigh. I was right. BRIAN was our waiter and he was excellent. Everything was fresh and straight from the grill or oven. Careful, the temperature will be hot when you are served. Wonderful margarita, especially the skinny. The medium size is huge. Three adult entree’s, three margaritas, chips and guacamole, plus tip for $100. (By the way the salsa and guacamole was perfect, not overly spicy but plenty of hot sauce condiments for those with a taste for heat). We had the Mojarra al Gusto, (Whole fish Tilapia) three different styles, which came with a very nice rice side and small fresh salad, and a piece of Texas style garlic toast. It was fantastic. Next time I’m getting the octopus for sure. Desert looked inviting but no room after that dinner.We all highly recommendAfter 6:30 you should probably make a reservation, on Friday anyway.Kid-friendliness: Adult menu with kid items. Great family place as you will see when you go.“

“My husband and I have been here multiple times over the last 5 years and tonight was so disappointing. The steak was the dryest piece of meat you could have imagined and the remaining entrees our table ordered were extremely underwhelming for the price. The "rack" of elk was two extremely small pieces for an astronomical price. A $400 meal that was overwhelmingly disappointing and was not a culinary experience as we've had in the past. Save your money and go elsewhere.“

“Sat outside on a beautiful Saturday with family, shrimp snack left much more to be desired, 12 small shrimp with nothing else.Asian tuna salad was good but I requested more dressing and the grouper tacos were good too, extra sauce was also requested.Waitress was awesome, staff at the dock also rockedParking: Boat dock for vessel parking as well.“

“Got there at 6pm and there was a wait. Staffing shortages. Everywhere I guess. Either way, got seated in about 30 minutes. The waitress looked tired as there were only two on staff. Didn’t matter as she took our order brought us drinks and kept a good check on us. Food came, hot and delicious. My steak was cooked perfectly and the wife’s seafood Alfredo was spot on. Staffing issues or not, we’ll come back. Just check before you go so you’re not surprised by the wait. They do the best they can.“

“Easily my new favorite place in NC, or maybe anywhere. They grow and harvest all of their oysters. And wow are they magnificent. On top of that, they serve good wine + beer and chef driven food like tuna tataki, crudo, a fantastic shrimp roll, and a bougie hot dog with caviar!!I can't wait to come back next week. This a gem of this area!“
