“We came for Mother's Day brunch. The hostess was great and even took some family pictures for us. Trevor was our waiter and did an outstanding job. He was courteous, polite, professional and friendly. We look forward coming back soon!”

“Paoletti is my favorite restaurant of all time. My husband and I have been going regularly since 2019. We have taken tons of friends and family and always had the most wonderful experience. Everyone that works there is so kind, knowledgeable, passionate about the food and wine, and fun! We love Julio and Nicole! The food is out of this world. They usually have a sommelier in house, but honestly most of the staff is just as knowledgeable. I have enjoyed most of the dishes and have never been disappointed. We've had early dinners at the bar, and late dinners in our favorite booth with our favorite people. The espresso martinis are magic!”

“Hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to! We took a trip this past weekend to highlands where I proposed to my beautiful girlfriend, and decided to celebrate here for dinner. Great decision! Food was 10/10, service was unmatched, and the atmosphere was great! A little on the pricey side but well worth every penny. I’m somewhat a foodie so it takes something special to wow me and this place did it!”

“We stopped in after a little road trip from clemson to highlands and found this gem on a busy weekend night. We spoke with the hostess, who was very polite, and were seated promptly. The food was delicious! believe I had the NC trout and my friend had the tomato bisque with some pasta dish. We will be back”

“Best ribs and collards I've had in ages!!! Perfect amount of smoke. And those beans are different but absolutely delicious..a bit of cumin, with very little ketchup (or none?)...so more SW vibe, but tons of meat with perfectly cook beans. Brunswick stew also excellent. Highly recommend you stop by. Informal atmosphere.”

“Great place, went there just to have a drink Fsu was there in force. They got great guards. The staff is very helpful and courteous. Good drinks, good beers, good selections, nice clean restrooms, and the camera. The name of the food card to Sarah but they have really good chicken tenders, limited menu, but chicken”

“Came in today for a quick drink but stayed for the experience. The beertender Kalyn was Incredibly friendly and the beers were delicious. I would give ten stars if I could, will absolutely return again in the future.”

“The atmosphere was very nice and the staff were great. The prices were a bit higher than id like, but that may be mostly due to being in a resort area. The food was pretty good though. Worth trying for sure.”

“My husband and I stopped in on Friday night and sat at the bar, as we prefer to do. We were promptly served by Nick, and he was fantastic! We had a few small plates and they were all fantastic! We finished with the deconstructed bread pudding. Not something we normally eat, but it was ridiculously tasty!! If we were local we’d be there on a regular basis. It will definitely be a must the next time we are in town!”

“Wow! Just wow! Great food, great staff, and a great atmosphere. The evening view of the lake was spectacular. From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly and that set the tone for the evening. The view from our table overlooking the lake could not have been better -And the food!! We had the Calamari, Caesar salad, Filet Mignon, and the Halibut. Every dish was delicious! I will definitely be visiting again soon. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. A huge thanks to all for making it a great evening.”

“The 4118 Burger was good, Reuben Sandwich was good, but bread was grilled a bit too long, so it was dry and brittle. The charcuterie board was good as well as avocado salad. Great service. Patty Melt was good, too, but it's the same issue as Reuben with the bread.”

“A win for the underdog? In a town where excess is abundant, Highlands Pizza Place is a welcome reprieve. The extensive menu covers more than just pizza pies but includes grinders and the half expected calzone. Even a bit for the kids in tow. I have put off my review because I wanted multiple experiences with this establishment and they did not disappoint me or my family. Staff had knowledge of the menu and made excellent recommendations on every visit. We always found the place clean and tidy even with a busy lunch crowd. The food is wonderful. Nothing pretentious but dishes for the proletariat and the discerning alike. Prepared well and served neat. All the flavors we experienced were, quite frankly, welcomed and savored. Highlands Pizza Place is worth the altitude sickness and the drive from most places. I wish them continued success.PS-My child now wants pages from coloring books wherever he goes and the Mrs loves her HPP night shirt. You’ve done well and I shouldn’t have to say that we will return…frequently.”

“There are two very small lunch spots in this courtyard, both excellent. The ladies at Fressers have somewhat limited hours and handle a lot of catering. Enjoyed a fresh ham and cheese! Great outdoor seating in the courtyard...”

“We stopped by this cute coffee shop as we were wrapping up some shopping in Highlands. I got the AppalaChai Latte and my husband got the apple cider. We also got the 3 cheese naan. The tea was yummy. Spicy with cinnamon. Not sweet unless you want it to be by adding sugar. The apple cider was good, but was on the sweeter side. The 3 cheese naan was ok. My husband, being from South Asia, was expecting something different- like cheese baked into the bread. Instead it was a piece of naan folded over with cheese melted in the middle. It tasted good and was warm, which was a great little snack mid afternoon.Vegetarian options: There were several snack options in mid afternoon that were vegetarian.Parking: Ton of parking in front of the shop.”

“Asia house by far is the best restaurant in Highlands hands down.the sweet and sour civk is the bomb.but one of the best things about Asia house is the service.and specifically the white guy,matthew.u can't miss him bc he's the only American white guy in the floor.he made or stay exceptional and made sure we were good every few minutes but not enough to be a pain.everynody there is absolutely great people.tom Josephine Danny and Matthew are examples of how resturants should be run.excepionaal service.sushi extraordinary.give them a try and u won't regret it”

“This place is so good we are here for the second day in a row. We were looking for something tasty and casual after a hike when we discovered this hidden gem. Everything was fantastic, we had eggs with chorizo, refried beans, hashbrowns, chilaquiles with eggs and avocado. We're back specifically for the chilaquiles because it's so hard to find and theirs is fantastic! Staff is helpful and kind. We will certainly be back on our next visit to Highlands!”
