I felt genuinely cared about and they took an interest in me while checking out my order. My food was absolutely incredible. Definitely coming here next time I visit oak island. Wonderful place. “As locals we have the ability to try all the different places on the island. 49th Street is one of our very favorites. The service is excellent, although it can get crowded in season. They have excellent steamed shrimp (better than the popular ones on the waterfront in Southport), very good wings and also great burgers. They have specials they rotate, can't go wrong here.“

“I frequently dine at Edgewater 122. The food is excellent, the service polished and professional. Today I was there for lunch. While I was eating the tide came in and made it difficult for me to leave without getting a salt water soaking. Not to be too whiney but my new boots would never have recovered. The front of the house manager and the bartender made me aware of the problems and helped guide me out and around all the water. Way beyond the call of duty and I greatly appreciate it. Subway has cheaper sandwiches, however, doesn't even come close to the fresh ingredients, quality meats and the best rolls around that Jersey Girls offers. Our server, Nikki provided us service that was above and beyond expectations, she was the very best, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.
